After a few days of messing around with my framework, I have managed to mod Aeon's framework to be as stock as possible. Also included is the stock browser with incognito mode
For those who like stock framework but also Xperia S lockscreen and Small Apps
WHAT"S IN THE ZIP:
framework-res.apk (no onscreen menu button and everything is stock)
framework.jar (15 step volume)
browser.apk
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Install Xperia S lockscreen FIRST
2) Then install Small app mod
3) Extract whatever parts you want. Zip IS NOT FLASHABLE!
4) Copy with permissions.

Bootloop is caused by small apps and lockscreen, not the framework. So yes, you will probably get bootloops. Just make a backup from time to time.

Based on my test, bootloop is caused by the framework. I have try to install the smallapps mod on the stock framework and I can did factory reset without bootloop, change back to smallapps framework, doing factory reset and got bootloop. Until now, I still use the smallapps mod but when I want to doing a factory reset I flash back to the stock framework first..

Small apps don't work on stock framework. You might get crashes here and there. Backups are the only answer for now.

Yep, I know small apps won't work on stock framework, I get crashed when pressing power button. But I can boot normally with smallapps mod installed by using the stock framework, I only use the stock framework when I want to do factory reset.
i think small app really useful if it work with on screen button bro
I removed the three dots meant to act as the menu button. And on screen button is a real waste of space, the hardware keys are there for a reason.

Neo hardware buttons sometimes they slip when you hold in one hand and you may slip your phone too..
I personally felt OSB are very very handy and effortless..
I feel the reason of hardware keys are Only piece to shine on your phone...

I'm having a problem with my neo v sometimes when i off the screen i cannot open it anymore.. it shows only black in the screen but the button lights in the bottom are working.. i need to restart my phone to open it again..
what do you think is the problem of my neo v?
Are you running stock or custom rom? Anyways your best bet is to make a backup and reflash. If you need to restore you can try appextractor to restore your apps.

tried it.. but the problem is still there
I just installed a ROM which is JellyVanilla 1 rev 2 on my Mango.
Everything seems pretty good until I realize that my keyboard onscreen won't come up.
I have follow the step :
1. Flash kernel for your device (Mini, MiniPro, Active, LWW)
2. Enter CWM
3. Wipe data / factory reset (not so necessary if CM10 is currently installed on your system)
4. Wipe cache & dalvik-cache
5. Flash JellyVanilla 1 rev2
6. Flash yourdevice_dev_files.zip (Mini, MiniPro, Active, LWW)
7. Flash GAPPS (optional)
then reboot.
The problem is the keyboard on screen won't come up. The hard keyboard work pretty well but when I slide the hard keyboard the screen doesn't automatically rotate like before/usual.
Everything else except those keyboard problems went pretty good.
Anyone can help me? I'm thinking on flashing some part of FXP CM10 source but I don't which part is exactly for those keyboard problems.
Thx before..
On the keyboard settings menu in the status bar..turn off the hardware keyboard..that did it for me.
How's the in call volume for you?

try flashing stock ftf without wipe data checked........ and then try rooting........
It's because you've swapped the kernels to get root i assume?
If so, deal with it. Get root and then flash the newer kernel back

This can happen sometimes...due to .10 kernel on .54 firmware.Don't worry just reboot and try again...or else delete all .semcbackup folder files or copy them anywhere else(on pc),such that there is no backup present in backup and restore app. Then try rooting..then do a quick guess touch:silly:to select root.me and press backup. This happened with me too...
Hi guys,
I rooted my xperia u today, and removed a lot of bloatware (I tought).. Now my phones keeps restarting every 4/5 minutes.. It looks like it works fine but then I get the xperia logo..
I didn't back up any of the apk's, pretty stupid I gues..
Is there any way to restore everything? Flash it with new ROM or something like that?
Thanks in advance!
You should get a backup everytime before removing any system related items from phone. Also don't try to remove apps you think as bloatware as if some of them are required for phone's normal operation.
Flash a stock ftf with flashtool and perform a root again.

Okay, think I'm very lucky.. Phone stopped restarting on his own.. All I did was removing ZDbox but don't think it has anything to do with it.. Anyway, thanks for your reply mate!
Hello,
I have an Xperia sola with stock ICS rom.
I recently rooted and unlocked the boot loader of my xperia sola.
After that I ran Supercharger v6, Speedy Sola and AC!D Audio.
The camera worked fine before I rooted and unlocked the bootloader (while on ICS and back when I was on GB), but today I noticed that when I try to go to the camera nothing happens. I only hear a blink of the shutter and the screen goes black for a second.
I tried using Cyber Shot Mod but nothing changed, accept now there is no normal Camera app available, only the Cyber shot, which does the same as the stock camera app did (blink sound and black screen for a second).
I tried Flashing it to 6.1.1.B.1.54, nothing happened. Tried setting it back to factory but nothing changed.
I downloaded a camera app from Google Play and I can take photos there, but they are not as good and I would like to have my original camera app, as it was fine for me.
Please help.
Are you still using this rom with those apps installed? If so try a hard reset, if this doenst work try to flash stock ICS or GB rom...

Thank you for trying to help me.
As I wrote I already tried to factory reset it and flashing it back to ICS rom (with flashtool) but no luck.
After I did that it seems I still have root access, CWM is still installed and AC!D Audio is still there.
Do you refer to something different from factory reset when you wrote "hard reset"?
If not, do you have any other suggestions?
Then flash .54 tft again and do a full wipe (data), factory reset ang tick wipe data. You can remove sdcard if you want but everything from phone will be wiped, so bacjup what you want.

I apologize, it was my mistake. Accidently flashed kernel instead of full flash.
Fixed the camera.
THANK YOU EVERYBODY!
