Hello,
Today is the day that i've tried to replace my broken guerilla glass...everything went well,I reconnected all of the cables in the back again..but the screen doesn't turn on!
The phone goes on,the buttons react and the sound works but the screen(digitizer)doesn't light up.
What do I do?
Disconnect reconnect the cable for your lcd. Most times for me if that happens I didn't get it seated.

My daughter's was using her phone while charging and then it shut off.
Now when she goes to turn it on nothing happens, not even the i9100 screen.
When plugging it in, it will begin to load the battery charging screen but then keep rebooting.
Tried plugging it in for about half an hour, still nothing.
Is it dead?
Is it rebooting, or not even turning on.
Can you see screen logo?

Hmm, ask your daughter again what did she do. Seems like repair job
No download mode either.
She says she was on Facebook and it shut down.
Going to try another battery tomorrow I am clueless as to the issue.
Hard bricked is when there is no life at all, not even when plugged in to a power socket. So all is not lost yet. Get hold of a USB jig from ebay, " £0:99p-£3:99p ". This hopefully will get you into download mode. Flash a recovery using Odin. You can then wipe cache/delvik cache. Or flash a new firmware. Instructions here:-

If your a dab hand at DIY, try making your own USB jig:-

Curious do you have any case on your phone. I have known people who have played games on the phone whilst it was charging which makes that bit more heat and then due to a case its acted like an insulator. Could have overheated possibly causing damage.
Its like impossible to start the phone with charger plugged in..did you try to start it without it?

It seem like charger port liquid damaged, you can clean it with alcohol and toothbrush, if doesn't work then you need usb connector replace.

If u see any display wen u connect the charger that means ur phone is not dead (Not Bricked)
try changing ur battery
also get a usb jig and try
it can get ur phone to download mode ....
Sounds like a USB jig is the way to go. Have had the same issue myself, and this was the only thing that worked to fix the issue.
I have an Atrix that I bought from someone.
Here's what it does: if I press the power button, the green light comes on in the corner for 2 seconds and then goes back off. Nothing on screen.
If I plug it in via usb, the green light will come on for 15 minutes like it is charging and then go off. No screen action.
If I plug it into a wall charger, it says "Failed to boot x1000" Entering recovery, battery too low to flash.
Now I tried this with 3 different batteries, same result. Anyone have any clues?
seems a hard brick ... like here but if the battery plugs from the cell doesn'st seems to be working u gonna to try with warranty or think about buy a new phone... hope u can solve ur problem
Leave for 24hrs on charge if still not work then its borked

Hi,
My nephew smashed his lcd and digitizer and the back camera cover. The phone was still functional, i.e send and recieve calls/mms/data and so on. I ordered a new complete front panel(lcd, digitizer and frame) and a new back cover. I followed a youtube guide and was able to take it apart and reassemble. Now, the thing wont turn on, when I plug it to the wall charger it just shows green led. When connected to PC it's recognized as a MICROBOOT and shows grey led light. I took a friend's battery and tried it, nothing. My battery was fully discharged it seems, it also seems like the phone wont charge the battery. I tried volume down and/or volume up with power, nothing.
Is it fully bricked? What can I further check?
Smacks of bad connections on reassembly.
Oops on the 'thanks' as I fat fingered it. .

I replace the lcd and digitizer, closed phone up, phone was booting up normally, htc white screen, nils business sense loading, and then nothing, screen went black. Battery is charged, and I have tried three others. When I hold the power button down, the phone vibrates on start up, but that is it, nothing else. Plug it into a computer, nothing, does not recognize it. Plugging it into a charger, the orange led is on for a few seconds, and then goes out. I checked the ribbon cables, and reseated, no dice. I even tried the old screen hardware, nothing.
Did the phone just die? Did the new lcd and digitizer do this? This is not my phone, I was just trying to help out my brother after he broke his phone. What should I do next?
Edit - If the phone vibrates while powering on, it is definitely not dead.
Any chance that you can get into the bootloader? If so, do a factory reset
Have you tried a different battery? The light coming on/off when plugged in makes me think either a short, bad battery, or something got shorted out on initial boot after you operated on it.
Good luck!

I had that issue during my replacement. Have no fear... Check that the ribbon cables are evenly reinserted andddd that the protective orange tape that was on these cable connections is put back. Problem solved. Shower me in champagne.

Tried that several times, even put the screen in so it was not grounded, no good. Tried the old screen, not go on that one either. I kinda gave up, maybe the new screen was shorted? I sent it back to the company, and got my money back. I then just purchased a cheap used phone and replaced it. I am not sure what happened?.....
In saying that it still turns on...did the screen show all black before trying to replace it...if not then something in not reconnected properly...it can be tricky so go over every little deatail including the sticky tape...make sure everything is aligned in the correct spot
