Hi guys,
I'm having a weird bug with SMS notifications on my Note 2, when I get a text it will cut short. I've tried various tones, restarting the phone, changing the settings off - reboot, but nothing is sorting it... Anyone else had this issue and been able to resolve it? After a reboot it will work for awhile hours days then it starts again...

Turn off the delete messages after 200 in message settings and it will work.

How long are the tones? Or are they default ones? I have my messages deleting after 200 and haven't had this issue.

Firstly id just like to say Hi, I'm new here and hope im not breaking any site rules by posting in the help section, its just I Cannot post in developers forum quite yet so was hoping someone could ask in that forum for me.....
I recently upgraded my x10 to Achotjan_Froyo_2.2.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009220) and noticed that the messaging dictionary only suggests contact names instead of dictionary words, do i need to change a setting on the device to use dictionary?? I checked my input and its set to ANDROID KEYBOARD i have show suggestions, Quick fixes and Show suggestions turned on,

hey.. not sure if something went wrong.
can't find gps switch on and off. sygic doesn't complain about not enabled gps. but.. i would love to verify if it's switched on or off and switch it off while i am not needing it.
It is located in quick settings.
But you should reread the forum rules first and ask this question in slimbean discussion.

This question is not because you dont know how to turn on/off the GPS, but for the fact that you are blindly posting stuffs on the XDA forum.

Ive done some searching but I cant much and also I cant find it on the play store.
My s4 is missing it as well, I tried a factory reset because I hadn't really set anything up yet and it didn't fix anything.

yea also Im missing the WIFI toggle on my pull down menu
Verizon disables that Wi-fi toggle on their android phones. Instead you have an ongoing notification for Wi-fi
Tried to take the apk from AT&T's firmware, app opens for a few seconds then crashes.
Seriously? This and Blocking Mode? (I'm sure a few others I haven't noticed too)
Why in the world does Verizon like to remove things that don't even affect them in anyway?
Also they renamed Easy Mode to Starter Mode.

Verizon is 100% about reducing help desk call volume.
They remove blocking mode to prevent 'tards from turning it on then calling CS and wanting to return the phone because it doesn't always ring.
They remove optical reader because I am sure it will not read every single word that will ever be put in front of it, and they don't want the calls.
Don't worry, though...obviously this stuff will show up in custom TW ROMs.

Guys, my cell phone had rood, unfortunately it gave an error here and I tried to format, however, I couldn't anymore, I installed all the drivers on the PC and went to redo the installation of recovery.img (which is TWRP), but it just gets stuck on this screen initial and does not go to the options... Does anyone know how to solve it?
