Hello sir,maybe the problem its in your cable,the manual says to only usa a sony cable,maybe is for that,try another cable,if the problem persists,try to find an SE Xperia cable and test,later sir
I knw that its recommended to use a Sony cable...
But previously its not happen...
Its happen frm may be last week..
I will also buy a new cable but don't trust that eBay saller sell a original cable or not...
And don't knw from where the original cable buy...
Its available on Sony service station...??

u must have to try and use original SE data cable...

I didnt noticed any of those charging my neo v via many cables and chargers.
I hardly doubt its cable issue.
Try replacing the battery

Ok,now this is strange,the sony store must have the cable,if not,you can buy in the acessories thead in Sony Website,you welcome
You can change battery.
The cable isn't the issue, I've used lots of different cables and my charges were as fast as always.. I think it's a battery problem.. Just try that cable with another device and test it.

The Motorola Razor or Slvr charger will work. I think any mini usb charger will work.
not all mini usb. i bought some not original car charger for mot V3 and it doesn't work with C550

For charging there must be a connection (short) between two pins in mini-usb, imo pin 4 and 5 (not shure!).
Some newer firmwares have a selectable option ´load by usb´, this will be able to charge w/o the short.

also had this issue mini usb didnt feel solid in the charger port think it was a faulty port was replaced in the store
I think there is a problem with that port in our x10's. I read many topics about charging problems. You have to be very carefull with it. I think micro usb socket is getting loose after 'heavy' use so it needs replacing.

I had this problem after I droped my phone. The only option I had left was to return it to rogers and get a new phone (it was all free of charge for me, so I didn't mind).
When I bui tel. I got usb lader kabel and it's dosnt work. I heave 2 - 3 extra cabels in the home and i tray one with work strait awey

i had the same problem with my x10
i rang/phoned sony erriccson and did not mention that my phone was bought from ebay
they told me to return the phone and they emailed me a form to print and send them with the phone
6 days after i posted them my phone they sent me a new phone
the warranty is checked by the serial number so if you keep quiet you should probably be OK

I had a similar problem, Mine would only charge through usb and not by the wall plug. I took it back for repair and because they couldn't fix it within 7 days they sent me a new one

Check the battery connectors if "oxidized" (don't really know if correct) clean them. If after warranty period you can dispatch it and check micro usb connector, if you can solder resolder it if not I saw somewhere a tutorial how to fix it without soldering here on XDA. Next you can check flex tapes for oxidation, gaps, etc BTW check micro usb for that to. Write back if something helped. In case it's under warranty send it to service center of course.

So you have nothing to lose and hopefully fix it. That was a most possible reasons. If none of them, problem is in main PCB. Warranty wasn't so obvious there are still shops that have this phone in stocks. Hope it's something simple and you fix it.

I have a weird problem with my Z2..
few days back it stopped charging through the usb port and couldn't be detected by my PC, I did try different chargers and cables.. but it did charge through the dock..
Took it to Sony service center and they declared the mother board needed to be changed and it was expensive.. almost same as the price of a new z2.. the guy there advised me to take it to any private repairing shop, changing only the usb port would be cheaper.. so today I took it to a repair shop.. but to my surprise the technician there said my phone was charging fine..
I was not sure but it definitely was charging... so brought it back home.. and... not charging again... tried all chargers that I had... tried connecting it to PC, nothing ! it did not go to flash mode even.. but did go to download mode..
and then I tried a 2.1A charger.. and there it was charging as if it had no problems ever !
So its charging with a 2.1 A charger but not through the genuine 1.5 A charger.. though it does still charge through the dock fine... and it still can't be detected by the PC..
Any ideas.. ??
I am still guessing its hardware but hoping its not...

I'm not sure what the consumer laws are where you live but I do know that in the U.K. where I live this would get me a new phone if Sony didn't repair the phone as mine is under a year old.
