Forgive me if this has been posted and buried. I found this youtube tutorial absolutely great! I have all my apps installed and installing on the microSD card. I has space!

Many props to the Author. Give him some YouTube love.
Can you install a program on your phone with this mod and then turn off your phone, take out the sd card and verify the app install on your pc reading the sd card?
There is a thread about swapping the storage. I now have 64gb set as internal and the internal is recognized external. I'll try to find the post and paste here.

Another option for anyone looking, is to use directory bind to move those giant data folders to the sd card. I noticed that some games don't seem to have the same performance when you move the entire app to the external card.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262
And that is the link. It works perfectly on my SGN2.
Success

Hey, i was wanting to move my games and some apps to my sd memory card in my s3......but I cant find the option for it. Ive tried App2SD from the marketplace but it doesnt let me select my external memory card, its like its blocked or something. I know the phone recognises it because I can move music and pics onto it via MyFiles app. Any ideas???

OK so basically I went from gingebread to jellybean by going to ICS in between. Whilst on ICS I noticed that the internal SD card wouldn't mount and in recovery it showed all of the file folders that there should have been but nothing in them. Now I'm on jellybean its the same. Is there any way to get it back to normal without going to stock?

check in file explorers for EMMC that will be your ext sd, if it shows up that way, look for an app on xda called RemountSD that will make your ext sd be shown as ext sd instead of emmc

I just get this.
OK what's happened is that the two files that I put on the external SD card are in download and nothing is in the external SD card file. I just need my internals back.

Update: I can't take a screenshot of notifications but that other screenshot I took, in notifications under the screenshot it says SD card is currently in use and shows a USB symbol although my phone is charging from a wall socket.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Try...from that screen press favourites, hopefully your get this (screenshot)
then press the phone icon and hopefully your get (2nd screenshot)
from there hopefully your find all your stored ext sd files in the emmc folder. If that is the case the i would recommend finding the RemountSD apk on xda, it saves alot of confusion finding your files
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I just get this.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
from there press the phone icon and you should get my 2nd screenshot appear (root folders etc) the emmc folder should be in there aswell
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
This is what I get. There was 2 lines more but thy were nothing.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Only thing i can suggest is if its nothing is in your extSD folder in that area then as a long shot, try fi ding and using the RemountSD app, do a search on the xda forum, it should be easy to find, once its installed tell it to remount and hopefully that will solve your problem and everything will be found on ext sd
this is the link to the app, hope that helps

No probs, hopefully someone will be able to help out more, i've not used any JB roms yet, if your looking for something custom but close to ICS the neutrino rom is quite good, comes with the remountsd aswell, i've not had any probs so far over the last month or 2 using it

Try ics sd binder first and see if that helps

Can you access it from recovery, mounts and storage and back them up to a pc. Not practical but at least you might salvage your pics.
Also I used ICS SD binder with no problems, you have to change the file path from emmc to extSdCard though otherwise it won't find it.

Apparently all it needed was a factory reset/wipe data.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Edit I was wrong. Basically I wiped and rebooted into f1 pure gnex rom. Went into camera and behold my 500 pictures were there but all blank. I then rebooted again and they all disappeared.

Found the leak for the new camera. Works nicely. The UI is sleek as hell. Main thing i found is that you can't choose where to save your pics, it goes automatically into the internal... which makes sense since this is from the nexus line. Personal annoyance to me tho.

Anyone else having issues with taking video? I can record video but when I try and play back a recording it's either an all pink screen with sound or an error message that the video could not be played. Tried 480, 720, and 1080 all with the same results.

You need to copy and then paste the file into the /system/app location, which can be found in the root directory...... in order to paste it here though, you need to press the "r/o" button up near the status bar when your in the right folder.
Then you need to long-press on the file (after pasting it) and click permissions. Check all the boxes.
Reboot.
Profit.

Come on now, at least post the file somewhere and then give credit by linking to their forum.
Don't link to some stupid forum that makes you sign up to do anything. You might as well be advertising another website. Spam.
Taking all that into account, I'll give you credit for opening a thread here for it...but not much more.

Just seems strange that there is no way to select it. Seems like if I were to upgrade my phone I would have to forcibly move my photos to my SD card or I would lose them all.
