Hi, I'm using the PA ROM and the system slide lockscreen with 4 shortcuts. I want to be able to put a password sometimes to avoid people using my phone when i'm not with it.
There is any app that put password in the lockscreen, but doesn't remove the system lockscreen? (I still want the shortcuts)

since u r rooted you can install a systemapp remover application and use it to uninstall the launcher completely
or you can just download a launcher replacement (say: apex,go launcher ex) and set defaults to it
as for the lock screen you cannot remove it but you can also download a replacement (say: widget locker,milocker)
and set it as default

You can go to settings.. Security and set screen lock to none.. If that's what are you asking.. Technically you can't remove the lock screen.. But you can disable it
Need some help, I have flashed several roms and kernels and now I can't change optiones for my lockscreen. The weather does not work, can't change the clock position, I've reflashed the stock rom (4.0.3 UHLPE) and nothing works.
What can I do?

I did this.. and i installed Milocker.. think that made what i wanted! I am on 7 launcher donate, and wanted a lockscreen similar to windows phone and this made my day! ty

I had minicm7 on my mini pro 2, and now I've changed back to stock rom and I miss the contacts widget, the one that puts a picture on the home screen and shows call, sms, mail, etc, buttos when I hit it. Can someone tell me where can I get it?
The closest widget I've found is the one called cool contacts widget but, spite of the name, it's not cool.

We all have gone through that phrase (im currently in it) when you haves pesky parents that like to rummage trough your stuff mainly my phone but what im looking for is an app that will have the option to hide a bunch of predetirmend list of apps with the click of a button. so if i where to leave my phone with the peace of know if they go through i dont have to worry. i know you may say why dont you just put a lock on but in my house this is against the rules. any suggestion are welcome.
Very easy... Download an alternative launcher like Nova or apex ...it has the ability to hide apps... But if they are techsavvy and want to check your installed apps screen they will still find it lol...

im on pac man rom and have the options in the settings app to hide them i want to have an app that i could click a button and they would disapeire and then reapper when i press it again
and my dad is tech savy but not for mobile phones he had a hard enough time unlocking the jelly bean lockscreen

I'm using the AOSB 1.2.8 Kitkat 4.4.2 on my i9100G and firstly, I gotta say it's really nice!
I'm having some customizations issues tho...
for one, I didn't find how to increase the number of home screens. Is it capped at 3 with the launcher3 homescreen? can I have more if I use the google one? just need to switch and restart the phone then?
Secondly, I love that feature to access ur notifications and apps quickly from the lockscreen but sadly you can't combine this with any kind of security. I've tried pattern, PIN and so on, but then the lock screen features are gone. It's basically one or the other. any fix/trick on that?
and finally, a noob question but is there a way to get a notification upon the birthday of someone in your contact list?

For your first question.. To add another screen you can try to drop an app to a non existent desktop and the launcher automatically creates another screen.
Or try Nova launcher, it's beautiful.

Hi, Im using dashclock on my lockscreen and ive got it maximised by default, and when a notification comes in I click it to open the notification and I have to enter my pin. That all works fine and im happy with that. The problem I have is when I dont have any notifications,I don't want dashclock to be maximised, I want to have my pin pattern there, I dont want to have to swipe up to open it. I don't know if there's anyway around this?
I suppose (and forgive me for this) im looking for something similar to the IOS lockscreen in terms of notifications and unlocking, but I dislike the idea of having a replacement lockscreen as I find they're slow and aren't smooth.
Im using Xperia Z2 (4.4) and im rooted.
