FLIPPING CLOCK FOR WILDFIRE -- Taken from SFM 1.1--
This is a bug free Sense clock (Flipclock) for the wildfire taken from the SFM 1.1 ROM.The clock behaves as the normal HTC clock(Tapping either takes you to Desk clock app or weather app) but has added FLIPPING animation .I have used it for a few hours and havent noticed any bugs. All credits to evilisto and someone else's zip file( i didn't know how to sign or whatever them).Brickbats are for me.
To be performed at your own risk.
This requires a rooted wildfire with recovery(i used CWM 2.5.0.7) and any SENSE rom
(I havent tried it on any other rom)
Please follow the instruction or u MAY have a TINY problem.
1.Make a nandroid backup
2.The previous HTC sense flipclock (only the big(4x2) thing with white squares on which Time is diplayed in black) widget should be somewhere on ur homescreens and preferably there should be an empty row beneath it.(U'll later learn y)
3.Put attached Sense21clock.zip onto sdcard root
4.Reboot into recovery and use " Install zip from sdcard" and select the file and confirm.Reboot Device.
5. Voila.U are done.Enjoy The SENSuous flipping animation when u unlock the phone and when u patiently wait for each minute to pass.
This has a problem though. U can no longer see the clock in ur widgets list. But since u already have it, that shouldn't be a problem) .Also the empty row of icons was required because the clock becomes 4x3 now, But it displays date, day, time, weather and location.
if u ever want to revert back the clock u will have to reflash the older OLDSenseclock.zip
Tested on DK Froyo 4.5.1 . Animation may be a bit jittery at stock speeds(528 Mhz)(esp after unlocking device) or that may be just me.Excuse the SMS language inputs.
For those with strange weather animations
(i mean like those in post number 7's attachments)
solved by patrask-Freeze HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk with Titanium Backup or
0.Make nandroid backup
1.Ensure u have a file HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk in ur system\apps directory (Use root explorer or something)
2.Remove HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk by following instructions from this link
http://iamandroid.com/profiles/blogs/guide-android-how-to-easily
3.Reboot.It might take a while to reboot so take a coffee break.
This will not work on non-sense based ROMS.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
tested it and yes you are right that there's a bit of excess lines at the center of each number when you've restored it from the locked screen. There's a similar one that I've been using which was taken from desireHD and ported it over the WF.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=960189
The problem with it is that the weather is cropped beneath the City and the Date but you can remove it and place it again as a widget.
Thanks anyway.
@rrbhootham
thanks very much! Its great
Could you try to port the sfm 1.1 lockscreen(sense 3.0) for our sense roms? Just flashing the htclockscreen.apk doesnt work...

Thanks for checking. At least one more reason to stick to sense roms.

That weather thing is why i didn't prefer that clock. It looked a bit unpolished.
Nice clock. It works pretty good, but there is a problem with the weather animation (see the pictures below). It seems that the weather graphics are missing. Is there anyway to embed them, or at least a way to disable the weather animation?

Did u change any opengl files of ur phone?Any live wallpaper fixes? That could be one of the reasons. And by the way weather animations are not supposed to work on the wildfire(AFAIK without any 3rd party stuff). What rom are u using? What weather is that bug for?

Hi rrbhootham,
I'have JockerDroid 4.2 and I installed the WildPuzzle Original Framework in order to restore the original framework since I didn't like some customizations made by the JockerDroid ROM.
Most probablly the wheater animation problem is caused by that patch. I'll try reflasching the ROM to check if the problem persist.
Anyway it would be interesting if someone else is having the weather animation working properly.
Please, check the video in the attachement for another demonstration of the weather error.
Marshall
Im also having weather animation problems, if someone had figured out a way how to fix it, please respond as soon as possible
Thanks in advance...

Hello Marshall,
I was googling around and i found this http://androidforums.com/eris-all-t...g-weather-animation-issues-w-latest-leak.html . The thread says this might be due to any graphics fixes. If u check JokerDroid 4.2's changelog there are graphics fixes mentioned, and that might be for the transparency of the menus and stuff and i believe this messes the transparency of the older weather animations.it might not have anything to do with the framework pack. i'll keep looking into this.

EDIT:
I found this thread http://geekfor.me/hero/fixes/rosie-lwp-fix-opengl/ where they're talking about OpenGL fix which is used to enable Livewallpapers but introduces the weather animation bug.
In the thread there is also a patch to revert back to the old OpenGL but I'm not sure if it will work for our Wildfire since it is for the Eris.
As soon as I can I'll try that patch (after a nandroid backup, of course) too see if it works...

Hello Marshall,
That might break ur JokerDroid Rom so i recommend u remove HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk from ur phone's system\app directory with adb.U can follow this link for details http://iamandroid.com/profiles/blogs/guide-android-how-to-easily . After that weather animation will no longer work(properly or improperly).
I freezed it with titanium backup, worked well.

Freezed it too and now the weather animation has gone. Thanks 1K!
Anyway it would be nice to fix the animation so we can have this feature too. Do you think it would be possible, rrbhootham?

yes that worked as well cool nice 1
I have questions.
Did you add an 0 before the 1 digit hours? like 9:07 -> 09:07 or 3:15 -> 03:15
Sometimes I come across a Clock bug on stock Froyo. The date and weather info is on the lower right of the widget by default but sometimes it comes to lower center. Did something like this happened?
Another bug with original Clock is when you remove the widget sometimes the transparent base stays on the home. Did this happened too?
That's all. Thx in advance.

Klin's Modified TouchWiz 3.0
Hi,
I took the TouchWiz 3.0 apk from my Player 4.0 and modified it with more features. This is NOT based on other TouchWiz mods (e.g. TouchWizGTG, etc.), though the features are inspired by them. I decompiled the apk and modified the files myself. It *should* work on all variations of the Galaxy Player, though I have only tested on a 4.0 US. Enjoy.
Features
- 5 Icon Dock
- No app names in dock
- Auto alphabetical sorting (press menu --> edit in the app drawer, and it will automatically sort)
- Transparent app drawer background
- No ugly app tiles
- Enabled landscape mode and auto rotation
- Disabled 16bit mode for better quality
- Compatibility with UOT Kitchen transition effects (get all effects not just partial)
- App drawer fly-in transition
- Reduced text size on home screen
- Reduced text size in app drawer
- No numbers in page indicators
- Set default home screen to 3 instead of 1
How To Install:
1. Only for de-odexed ROMs!
2. Download TouchWiz30Launcher.apk
3. Push or copy/paste to /system/app/
4. Set correct permissions rw-r--r--
5. Go to Settings --> Applications --> Manage Apps --> All and clear data for TwLauncher
6. Reboot
If you like my work, please press Thanks
Thanks for making this Mod. I will try it and give you feedback
Question:
What do you mean when you say "only for de-odexed ROM's"?
I have SGP 5.0 (YP-G70CW) with stock ROM. Does it passes??

I made the mod with a deodexed apk. You could try it on your player, though I have never tested it on odexed. There's a good chance it might work. If it works, I'll update the instructions in the OP.

DOESN'T WORK on YP-G70CW with stock ROM.
I did it, but when replacing Touchwiz30launcher.apk, it reboots automaticallly, not letting me deleting data from the "old" TWLauncher, and it stayed on samsung logo 4e
On my device it works perfect (YP-G1 EU)
Thanks, but autmaticly realigin would be good

I don't think Klin is active in this section any longer. You may want to use a private message in order to get your question to him, or contact one of the other developers that are currently working with the Galaxy Player.
Hello everyone, and thanks for clicking on my post I'm a relatively new poster around here, but I've lurked these forums ever since I've been using Android. Now, I want to create this into a repository for theming. Not simple homescreens with some derpy GO Launcher EX themes or something you found on MyColorScreen, No. I'm talking about actual hardcore theming. Please read on!
Also, check out my LOCKED BOOTLOADER MODS REPOSITORY HERE, Thanks
POST YOUR RESULTS!
PART 1:
Pre-Requisites:
-A Phone. If you don't have one, I don't know why you're here.
-Root. Okay, well technically you don't need it, but in order to get the full effect you should have it.
-CWM/TWRP Recovery. In case anything goes wrong.
-CREATIVITY. This is important, the designers of the Japanese flag lacked this one.
PART 2:
Okay, so first off, we need to get a LAUNCHER. For those who don't know, a launcher is an application that changes the way your homescreen and app drawer functions, and can introduce new theming capabilities.
I recommend one of the following:
-Nova Launcher (Most popular)
-Apex Launcher (Changeable Fonts)
-Holo Launcher HD (Less RAM usage)
-GO Launcher EX or Launcher Pro (LOL JUST KIDDING)
PART 3:
Set up your homescreen the way you like it, I prefer one screen with my Music/Whatsapp/PlayStore/Duolingo/Spanish/Translate, with a Google Now widget at the top. I use the 3 language things because I'm increasing my Spanish vocabulary. Estoy aprendiendo Espanol(; Anyways, once you've got it how you like it, get a wallpaper that will fit the general color scheme of what you're trying to accomplish. Don't pick some stupid Batman wallpaper if you're making a Hello Kitty theme. Now you're probably bored, so here's where the real magic starts...
PART 4:
DOWNLOAD GO LAUNCHER EX IT'S THE BEST RAWWWR.
PART 5:
I was kidding. That thing sucks lmao. xD Anyways, download Xposed Framework Installer, and then download XThemeEngine. This is where you need root. This is going to allow you to modify your status bar and some system icons, without needing a custom ROM such as CyangogenMod, AOKP, MIUI, PACMAN, iOS (Wait what?)
Download Xposed Installer HERE
Download XThemeEngine HERE
Now, launch Xposed Installer and grant root access blah blah blah and CLICK ON "INSTALL/UPDATE!" Good job! If you just bricked your phone, it is totally my fault! Because I touched the button for you and decided against my own gut that this is risky and still did it so yes it's TOTALLY MY FAULT! Sarcasm. Everything will be fine, if it isnt, you have CWM and a brain. Okay, next, go to the MODULES tab and enable "XThemeEngine" and then tap it to launch it. Grant it root and choose the theme you want. You might be thinking, "HERHER DERRRRR I DON'T HAVE A THEME [email protected][email protected][email protected]" Well, I'm getting there. Basically, we can port any theme for CM, etc. to our phones using the method the creator described in his thread. I won't get into that. Instead, I'll leave you with some links to some themes Because I'm just a generally likable guy.
Xposed Framework
XTheme Manager
PART 6:
THE FINAL PRODUCT.
Homescreen Preview. That Google Now Widget... Sabroso(;
Notifications Preview. See that WiFi indicator? It's a crown(;

SOME HELP
-Not all status bar icons change. Well gee, you can't ask for everything can you? Pick a blue theme if you want a nice blending. It seems as if it's only the Network Signal and the Clock that don't change though.
-Not all the settings menus change too! Seriously? Deal with it.
-My phone's broken. Wow, that really sucks doesn't it? Kidding. PM me and I'll fix you up, or check out cmahendra's offline KDZ flash if it's that bad.
-I accidentally downloaded GO Launcher EX, HELP THIS SUCKS. Well, if you want your phone to stay pure, you ought to throw it at the sidewalk and get a new one. That launcher is hideous and gross, your phone will hate you forever now. If you're okay with that, find the uninstall button. Oh, what's that? You can't find the uninstall button? Find a CWM image for a phone that isn't yours and flash it. That'll get rid of it!(; Please don't do that.
-I hate you. That's alright, I can live with that.
-I WANNA REMOVE THESE THEMES WAH. Go into the XThemeManager and choose stock theme, or uninstall the XposedFramwork completely.

Looks pretty slick I see they got Mixer, I did enjoy that theme while on Cyanogenmod maybe check it out, thanks for the leg work.
Just put Mixer on and it's nice some of the stuff is off but then again this isn't a deodexed rom so it's pretty awesome none the less may try something else but I am enjoying the possibilities here, thanks again for sharing this.
Edit - again thanks for this but everything is slightly off so I'll stick stock, it's a cool idea but just not for me, thanks, also noted a bit of a slow down with it.

Wow, thanks for being open to new genres. (; Anyways, check out "Xposed Status Bar Mods." Just google it and find the page here on xda. Just go into "tweaks" after you enable it, and then scroll down and select "remove/hide clock." Makes your UI so much slicker, now I just use my lockscreen for my clock aha
And as to the dubstep comment, I must present you with this. Imagine slaying aliens to a track like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiNYUQXMH0A

@ the mods, my apologies if this screenshot is violating XDA rules, if I have to remove it I will.
This is my favorite theme setup
I'll post what I used to get it looking this way soon, just kinda preoccupied at the moment.
Edit: Okay this is a pretty simple setup, just follow my instructions.
1.) What is needed:
- Xposed Franework
- App Settings module for Xposed Framework
- UCCW
- Beeping Weather (UCCW skin)
- Bar line UCCW (not my work, I honestly forgot where I had found it but I have the original theme zip for it)
- Simple Metro Mirrored White icon pack
- FLATRON CM10 theme
- Stock Analog Clock (themed with FLATRON)
- PowerAmp Pro, with Minimalist skin
- Patience
2.) Activate navbar with this build.prop tweak:
# Navbar control (0=on,1=off)
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
3.) Pick out whatever wallpaper you like
-----------------------------------------
Now comes the most time consuming part of the process.
Install Xposed Framework, and install the framework itself, then reboot.
Install App Settings module for Xposed, then reboot.
Set this dpi value in App Settings for said app: Apex Launcher - 180dpi
Open Apex Settings, go to Homescreen Settings and set the layout size to 7x7
In Behaviour Settings disable auto rotate
Now you may proceed to setting up the icon shortcuts
Phone/Browser/Messaging/App Drawer/Camera/Gallery/Apollo
Make sure you have the Simple Metro Mirrored White icon pack and have it in your sdcard placed wherever you wish to place it. Choose those icons for each apps individually.
If you have purchased PowerAmp Pro, set the 4x2 size widget and choose minimal style (white text)
Start placing the rest of the widgets in place and resize them properly to fit neatly where they belong.
Download BarLine V2 UCCW skin, which you'll most likely find on XDA in some thread with minimal screenshots.
By the way those widgets are all UCCW, except for PowerAmp Pro
Set whatever wallpaper you desire
I guess reboot to finalize everything. Let me know how it goes, my bad it took so long to get back to you on this, hopefully you enjoy using this setup as much as I do
Let me know how it goes.

The Xperia Sense 5? Hmm. Idk.. It sounds like it might be meant for Xperia only. I don't want to say yes because you can't backup. All I know is Mixer and LunarUI work.. that's all I'd try until you could get a backup. Have you tried the app OBackup? You can save to a cloud I think

I never was a huge fan of the stock Galaxy S5 Weather Clock Images (AccuweatherPhone14.apk)
So here is my version of it with "Real Weather" images and a redesigned UI for the full screen weather.
All background images have been replaced with non-flat high quality weather conditions. This includes the widget, list and fullscreen views in both portrait and landscape.
A lot of time and work went into creating this so please if you want to include it in a mod or ROM it is OK but you must let me know through a private message AND link to this thread with appropriate credit given. That is all I ask.
Apks are all deodex.
Should work on ANY rooted galaxy s4 and probably really any KitKat touchwiz device (S4, S5, Note 2/3?). Let me know how it works out for you. Please back up your old clock just in case you don't like this one)
Enjoy!

Installation instructions:
1. Download and flash from recovery. Includes all neccesarry files and will clean up any old versions and odex files on install.
2. Power up and place widget on screen.
(If widget fails to load data go to application settings and clear the data/cache to the widget/daemon and then it should load fine)

Yes you are replacing system files.
You can try downloading zipsigner and resigning both apks and installing them normally but I cannot guarantee it will work as it hasn't been tested that way and files differ from s4 files so most likely it will just FC
This is what all the conditions look like in v1.
Only widget is themed. Update will be posted later with more such as the weather background in tabs and possibly when weather is opened also. Few different widget backgrounds also.
Version 2 now available in 1st post
Updated images and included all files in one flashable zip
Dam I'm so freaking jealous lol would I be able to get this on my tab 3???
No clue. Try it. Just make a back up first of course.
?I'll let you know
great job, keep up the great work

Yes. This is a themed port of the S5 clock so files are different.
A nice pair to the clock
Added second version to OP, has min/max on widget but has FC when entering list mode. (Do not ask me to fix its like this on all with min/max)

Be sure to follow instructions if on stock ROM or odex ROM. Make sure you remove the old apks before flashing and you will have no issues.
Let me know how it goes.
Just a screen shot.
Bout to flash to tw just to check these out, look really sweet!

I renamed my original by adding .bak and I got the "problem loading widget error". After moving the originals to my SD card then going into settings/app manager I cleared the cache and data now all is will. Looks great; Thanks!!

Next update will include landscape list views and a few small touch ups here and there.
Already working on V4:
And not that it really matters or even shows except for in system I made it a new app icon.
Almost complete, HOWEVER, I did have to disable the full screen weather animations..
OK here it is the FINAL version!
All views are now complete.
