Hmm don't think so...
Never miss mind something about downgrade via Kies...
So only way is using Odin and flash a gb-stock-firmware...
Or u flash a kernel from here, wipe all, then flash a Rom...
CHEERS ;-)

No you cant downgrade by Kies. Use a custom rom or manually downgrade.
How do i manually downgrade ? .

um
Check for Odin tut here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
And choose a gb firmware...

No way via kies, learn Odin as sahibunlimited said and flash it, it won't take more than half hour to learn Odin and flash

Hey you are from x10 section
Remember me?
I didn't read your name when i was on mobile
Yeah i remember you mate. You was on the face book page alot aswell if i am not wrong . was on x10 section for quite a while now loving my s2 but everything seemed straight forward on the x10 where as here there seems to be so many different variables to have to check before flashing anything .

[Request]Official Stock 2.3.4 INDIAN Firmware for Galaxy SII

I am running Gingerbread 2.3.6 XWKI1 on my GT-I9100. I don't like the overscroll glow, hence I want to downgrade to 2.3.4 for the bounce effect and better battery. I do not want to root my phone, just wanna flash using ODIN(already done with other firmware before...so i know how to use it). I have already searched the forums for an INDIAN 2.3.4 and looked in the Official Firmware thread, but I'm unable to find it. Can someone please give me a link to the official Indian 2.3.4 firmware? Again, no custom FW as I don't wanna root.
Thanks!
Y u no ics 4.0.4 ?

Yep. It was.
If that link is dead then you should go to a SC and ask them to flash your phone KF3.
KF3 is pretty old and it is a slim chance that anyone would still have it. And it was buggy, way buggier than KL1. KL1 is one of the most stable GB there is.
Unfortunately, Google is your best friend now.

Thanks for your reply. I wanted to know one more thing: i found a generic 2.3.4 firmware. If i use an Indian CSC with it what would happen?

You will have stock Indian Firmware.
The base KF3 is same, CSC just has the some India specific settings (no Music Hub) that is all.

If you have yellow triangle or your binary counter has been increased, then use this app to reset it: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494114

Device status normal, although CWM installed.

One thing is kinda strange, my device status is "normal", and i can search and receive OTA updates, although i am using CWM Recovery. In Download mode, the counter shows three, and status is modified. I didnt use triangle away.
Stock 4.1.2 XXELL4 DBT with XXELLA Bootloader.

Galaxy s 2 still on 2.3. 6.

T mobile version. When I go to settings, software update: I get no firmware. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Read .... Read and read then flash 4.1.2 with odin
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Does this mean that there is no OTA path? And is that because the version is so far behind current?
Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 2
Well you should've had an OTA flash request, no doubt of that.
But yeah, since it has been so long i would also recommend flashing a Stock Official Samsung ROM with version 4.1.2 aka Jelly Bean via ODin.
T-Mobile version as in....?
