Hi All,
I flashed my Samsung Galaxy GT-I9100 via odin, with Jelly bean 4.1.2 I9100XXLSJ_I9100OXXLS1_OXX and then rooted with PhilZ-cwm6 XXLSJ-OXX-3.73-signed.zip
booted up device (i was so happy).
The initial USB storage size was 11.5 GB
I had a problem with corrupted clockworkmod files in my USB storage, so I decided to format it.
Now, after I formatted USB, the size is 4.11 GB :crying:.
There is a relevant post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1757093 but I have the following questions.
Can I use the pit described in that post?
Do I have every thing from the begin? (JB, 4.1.2, Root etc.)
Is there any solution to fix the problem without doing everything again?

Hi there!
I just switched from litening rom 2.7 with siyah 3.1.2 kernel to the newest version of ressurection remix rom 1.8.1. I did factory reset and all the cache wipes. All is working well and I must say that this is the best rom i've had so far...
Apart from the fact that my internal SD is not recognized (I don't have an external SD card). The internal SD is available in recovery mode, so i tried flashing the siyah kernel that was still on there. This didn't help. I have been searching in the FAQ but i seem to be the only one with this problem?
Does somebody have a solution?
Thanks in advance!

Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Thanks for the quick reply but that thread is not applicable to my situation.
I am having trouble accessing the internal memory of my s2, NOT the external SD (which I don't have). This total of 16 GB is divided in a partition for the operating system and apps on one side, and a partition for data (around 11 GB) on the other side. I can't access this last partition for some kind of reason..
I tried flashing other kernel and flashing the whole ROM again (with al wipes en factory reset)
Any suggestions?

If u go to Mnt/sdcard what do u see?
Using XDA Premium over Resurrection Remix ICS, the Best Rom ever made
just change the connection mode.
Settings - Storage Size - Clic on Menu Button - PC Connection - And select the one that you want
Thank you for your responses.
If i go to Mnt/sdcard it says "this folder is empty"
My internal SD can't be empty cause I just flashed the Ressurection ROM from it.
Changing the settings doesn't solve anything.

Hi all, I recently brought a used samsung galaxy s2 (i9100) but the guy who had it before me has rooted the phone (clockwork recovery one) and he has installed ICS. Everything seems to work fine but the problem is when i go to the SETTINGS>STORAGE page i have 1.97gb internal storage and 4.11gb usb storage. so i have like 8 gig of the internal memory missing! how do i fix this? If i have to reflash the phone could you please also give me the links to download the files and a good walkthrough. I live in the UK so if possible could i have an unbranded uk copy of ICS. Thanks :fingers-crossed:

Flashing a stock firmware 4.0.4 rom with the pit file.
I downloaded the Odin in the Dev forum and it had the pit included.
If it does not work read here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1811238
Hi Guys,
Anyone can help, i messed up my I9300 sdcard, i tried everything i know
- Tried to re-partetion using .pit file and ODIN 3.07
- Tried to flash the stock rom "it works but the device keep restart and freeze"
i guess the issue is that my internal sdcard is not well partitioned now cause a softer reading the device information telling that my rom is 11.8 gb and my sdcard 11.8gb as well.
Please help, i'm dyeing
Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
Although I have read xda forums quite a few times, this is my first post here, and my reason for posting is that I really don't have a clue how to proceed with my Galaxy S2.
The story is the following: I was going to sell my old Samsung Galaxy S2, so I decided to delete all data from it in a way that it is not recover friendly. After seeing that a factory reset would not delete the internal memory completely, I was worried about the new owner being able to read my ersonal information, so I plugged in the phone USB to the Mac as Mass Storage and went to disk utility in Mac and performed a formatting of the phone partition(FAT32). When I rebooted the phone it would not work properly, messages like "Usb storage damaged" and most apps would not work, like camera, file manager and so on. I assumed I deleted important system files when formatting so I went to CWM based recovery and transferred the initial content of the internal memory (previously backed up) back to the phone's memory, in an attemp to put things back to normal.
Nothing has changed and the phone is not able to read that memory. I tried many options from the CWM recovery mode but nothing seems to work. I tried reformatting USB storage from the phone options, factory and cache reset from CWM....
The Android version is 4.1.2, Model GT I9100, Kernel 3.0.31 Siyah s2 v6.0b5+
I have also tried to install a different custom ROM but that does not fix the problem either.
So my question is: Is there anything I can do to restore a recognizable file system into the internal memory?
Thank you so much,
Problem solved. After flashing with ODIN the phone repaired itself performing a USB storage format from the device.
