Be more specific. What 2.3.3 rom? If it is a non Samsung based rom, forget it. If it is Samsung based, the bloater app by birgertime should do you just fine. I imagine you know the difference because you are on 2.3.3.

Do you have a usb charging cable connected to the MHL adaptor? It's a must.

You need to flash FlappJaxxx stock kernel from here.
