Google Now for AT&T Stock Rom - AT&T LG Optimus G

So I know that there currently isn't any 4.1 rom available and im not rooted at the moment (but i can be), but i was wondering if there was any way to get Google Now on my Optimus G on AT&T running the stock rom if i rooted. That's basically the one feature of Jelly Bean that i want. Thanks everyone!

[Q] what phones come stock with 2.3?

Ok so I been trying to figure this out just because. What phones come with 2.3 everything I see is 2.2 and now I see that there's a 2.4 coming

Nexus S is all that comes stock Gingerbread I think.

I think the LG Optimus does, a friend of mine has it and says he isn't rooted, he says, "he just has a nice phone" and if he is telling the truth, then the Optimus comes with 2.3 or has a OTA download available after purchase.

Bump, because I just bought this phone also and need CWM
You could search a little bit better. This is the Optimus One for AT&T.

Bump - yes it is a variant of the Optimus One, but it would seem that recovery and ROMs are *not* directly compatible with the P500 or P509.
I may be kicking the dead horse here but has there been any update on a custom ROM my phone is screaming for gingerbread.

Been away from the Razr Sceene for 6 months

Hello
I have been away from the Android Motorola Razr Sceene for 6 months. I sold my Razr and bought myself a Windows Phone. But now im back, end of story.
What is happening?
Im located in Norway and have the GSM version of the Razr, is Jelly Bean out for me yet? Is it worth the upgrade?
Before i left
I used the EPRJ_EasyRootICS_MultiOS_v1.5 to Root my ICS Razr.
I used Safestrap-ICS-3.05
And I switched between Simplex OS and Eclipse OS, super debloated with my own recipe
I used BW_CM9_GSM-PATCH-dtrail to use these CDMA roms.
And now im sitting here with a brand new Motorola Razr Maxx and do not know what to do?
Is it worth the upgrade if I where happy about these rom's and all the themes and customizing I could do?
Should I upgrade to Jelly Bean or stay with my old recipe?
I was very very happy about battery and quickness of these rom's I used, but I need some input if someone could be so helpfull
edit: also wondering if I can root my phone with the Jelly Bean rom installed.
Thank You
I've been using AOKP R7 with the updated kernel pack V1.2 and have found that kexeced rom to be extremely smooth. GPS, bluetooth, camera, camera flash, video and wifi work. Wifi tethering worked with R6 but for some reason doesn't work for me on R7. I'm trying to track the problem down.

If i were you I'd stay on ics for now, the only reason being is a number if people who have upgraded to jb lost root. At this point in time there is NO root method for xt910 jb en.eu
Only a matter of time until a exploit is found but until then it may not be worth the risk?

I'm using SS3.11 to run the AOKP rom. My stock rom is the official Optus Motorola ICS one. That has been rooted. The new AOKP 4.2.2 based rom is also rooted.

Thnx!
Thanks for fast answer guys, after Googleing and reading trough forums both here and others I have decided to stay with my old recipe. It was working flawless with not big bugs and fast as no other!
Im not into the whole experiment on everything again, so I will just wait for Jelly Bean to be more mature
Thank you again.

[Q] DNA & FitBit App - 4.2.2

I am looking for a way to get the FitBit app to work with my Wife's DNA. She is running 4.2.2 (latest VZW OTA Patch) and the app will not work due to Bluetooth compatibility issues. I have searched without luck to find a way to get the app working on a stock DNA with JB 4.2.2. Rooting is not an option right now, but if I can convince her I will root the phone. She would rather buy a HTC One before rooting but I don't want to spend that money because the FitBit devs won't touch a non 4.3+ device. So any suggestions would be helpful.
I have tried the xposed FitBit app that you can find on one of the XDA pages. That didn't work either.
Never rooted a HTC device, so I don't know which ROMs I should start with. (I have a Note 2 that was running Carbon then CM11) Not sure if there is a good HTC Sense ROM that wouldn't be over the top for someone who never used anything but stock.

You need 4.3 or 4.4 for the modified Fitbit app to work (I'm not sure what xposed app you're talking about), but I've had no problems syncing my Force with CM11, AOSPA 4.0 beta, and the Blackout GPE rom. If you're looking for stock, there's a port of the One's stock 4.4 rom.

Thanks for confirming this. I guess I have to convince her to root. Hopefully she doesn't pull some v-day BS and trick me in to getting her a new phone.
I got my fitbit force to work with the xposed fitbit module + the latest Viper rom (sense 5.5 running 4.4)

I will have to look at that ROM. My wife is still on the fence about rooting her phone, but it is cheaper than getting her a phone that is officially supported by FitBit

Help needed.

I have a lg optimus pro g. Running 4.1. I just had a heart moniter link installed.whose app requires a.minimum of android 5.
Dont really want to buy a.new phone. Any way to get my present to that version, ie custom rom i guess.
