Have you tried it before? Good quality?

I wasn't aware of that. All the extended ones I have seen are larger and require a knew case ect...
If you Root your phone and get a good Rom battery life will not be an issue. Plus they have apps to help out with battery life as well.

1900mah as opposed to the 1750 stock. Brand is platinum which is made by siedio, a very reputable accessory company. I'm currently rocking the 3500mah battery, ya it makes the phone pretty big but I enjoy the freedom of not having to worry bout a charger.

With that battery, were you able to find a good protective case to fit the new bulge?

But i can literally get 2+ days of moderate use if I tried. I just tend to be on my phone a lot (dling roms, flashing, Googling) and with this battery I can do all that on the go and not have to worry about charging in car or at friends place. And this isn't even the largest mah battery they sell. They have a 4000mah cell that's just as big as this and would be a monster
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
the only reason I bought the 3500 is because I work at best buy and go a good discount on it, otherwise I would have bought the 4000

What ROM and kernel are you using? I've gotten better life with some of the ROM's I've flashed, but nowhere near what you are reporting, even with an extended battery.
This is the only battery I would use.
ALL of the aftermarket batteries are at 3.7v - and use lithium polymer - while the 3d requires a battery at 3.8. Another thing is the 6.57Whr rating which I HIGHLY doubt these aftermarket)read: cheap) batteries can provide...especially since the spec isnt listed on the retail sites Ive visited.
Always go official.

Hence the speculation. Its not like these generic battery manufacturers have better battery tech than the OEM suppliers.

Two OEM batteries are better than one huge, cheap extended battery. The devices aren't intended to run on a huge battery and recharging a large capacity battery in the phone is not ideal, technically.
But the aftermarket batteries will always use lower quality materials and worse craftsmanship than OEM.

I would say Yes, but do this first.... Charge all the way to 100% when your in the rom. Unplug.. turn off the phone completely... plug in the charger again... wait for the charging light to turn green, than wipe battery stats and use it....
Thanks for all your input... !
Don't use this s*** from ebay. Get a normal product from a quality brand.

Do you have a picture of the Mugen battery and new back cover? I am curious of the quality and appearance. I have been eyeing one for the wifes Mytouch 4G slide as well.

the batteries from mugen are 1950 and 3600mAh, but yeah not much of a difference between the 1730 to 1950
Has anyone found a good alternative for battery replacement on this phone? I just got the arcsoft 2010 Mah and it seems to drain faster than the original! Only had it a day now and have not let it do a complete cycle, not even sure that is necessary. More input would be appreciated.

I had the same issue! And it gets worse, after about 2 weeks it will make your phone act all weird, random restarts, gps not working, really bad stuff. Took it out and put the old one back in and had no issues.
I'm thinking of trying this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006TM221I/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=A3ETL3OCXHQSGY
I haven't seen any real reviews yet. Original poster hasn't posted back yet.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/27088715044...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_4526wt_1396 does this battery need a special back cover ?
I use the ferocitymobile.com ones they work well and come with a stand alone charger.
I never uploaded the final pics. Here they are this is pretty much daily moderate use. Using stock kernel and the lovely energy ROM. I use to have to carry 2 batteries to make it through my 8 hours at work.

they raised it to 10. hopefully it doesnt go back to 60 dollars again. :fingers-crossed:
I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying that these case don't hold a charge after a few months, can anyone provide insight on that?

That's the major reason I didn't buy them. A lot if not all reviews state that they don't hold any charge after a month or so and that also when the case is fully charged and the phone battery is dead it only charges the battery only to about 60% .

Its woth it I bought 1 off of ebay and it's been working awesomely with me um I get over 12 hours of talk time with an average usage and I can get 10 hours with about 70 percent of screen time and 4g speed on so I'll save is power skin it's pretty good and I've had it for about 2 weeks almost and to correct the guy that says its 1000 it's not it's 1500 and it charges at a rate of the normal charger which is 1000mah... Also about not charge it completely that's because of these powers can charge your phone keeps it on and still keep charge your phone and it will knock your full charge but I will be completely give you whenever charging plus the 60 or 70 percent of the battery charge... Sorry this reply it's long or not put correctly but I was using my talk to text application I just worked great on Speed rom 8.0

I ordered one yesterday. Heck at the price I couldn't resist, jut to try it out.
I am going to use it as a backup battery, that is, turn the powerskin to OFF until my main battery is around 30 - 35% or so. Then I'll turn it on. I have a feeling this the the design intent (otherwise, why have an on/off switch at all).
I'm wondering if people used it this way, or just left the powerskin on all the time?
Steve I did, I have 4 of these now

Did which? Leave it on all the time, or turn it on only when needed?
EDIT: After owning one, I discovered that the only way to use it is to keep it powered down until the extra charge is needed. Thus it is not really providing a "larger" battery, like the Mugen 3600; it merely recharges the internal battery.

hey guys, my t-mobile amaze 4G sucks juice a lot, so i bought a sensation 4g battery (which they have stated that it will compatible with amaze 4G either) for the phone, and my phone will not power on with this battery.
the MFG part is amaze t-mobile PH85110, 35H00166-02M, and i check the oem battery is BG86100, did i buy something wrong?
Our batt works with the sensation 4g and evo 3d and others. Umm try your old battery if it powers on you bought a bad battery. Also if your interested in a new battery I recommend Anker from Amazon. And also keep accessory related posts in the accessories section.
