Does anyone know how to port full touchwiz to CM 7?
I can only get tw launcher and keyboard working (thanks to tj_droid)
Glad if someone can get following working
1.Task manger
2.My files
3.TW music player

you need to decompile it and change the author to cooper instead of galaxy 3

Flash popdog's Oxygen ROM if you don't want the CM7 stuff, and only a simple gingerbread ROM (way faster than the official gingerbread).
I've used cm7 since the early days and even with OpT...just wanted to try out the official gb's....I know all to well about oxygen,its to minimal for my taste but the performance is superb

To be honest,there almost the same...maybe I'm wrong but that is just my opinion..I will say this performance wise,oxygen....

Hi i just recentlu used uot kitchen to change the color of my phone running icscrewd. Scroll bar works, battery works , but the overscroll just disappeared instead of showing up with the customized color. Can u guys help me please?

they say w/ touchwiz rom, i need to upload the tw-framwork-res.apk so i guess it should be working. And i uploaded all 3 files needed but still. Nothing.

It would be very helpful if you say what happened - did you figure it out, is there no answer, is it fixed? It might be better than deleting if others could find it in searches and use it - especially since Google will keep it for a while even if the mods delete it.
Well...its pretty silly actually, when u picked out all the mods and on "upload" tab, make sure under "..flashable zip scripting", choose "type Galaxy" then upload system files as normal, everything will work out fine. Took me awhile to figure it out though.

Would just like to share this link to this zip file I found in the gs2 forum for note 2 - gs3 gallery. I can confirm it works on shostock 3 rom.
Im not sure on other roms though.

Interesting question. Our ROMs would work, but they would need to be tweaked to work with her carrier. Is is Cellular south?

No need to tweak fascinate ROMs work right out of the box I got a cspire showcase all you do I'd flash a fascinate ROM and your good to go 3g everything

Samsung phones are super easy (thanks Samsung )just flash cwm in Odin and flash the ROM of your choice done.

Yes sir! Man I wish I wud have went galaxy wise just didn't have the $ at the time. My phones got the same specs but runs every rom crappy besides cm7 lol

Use the guide hpp posted and you can put the cwm file anywhere you want on the SD card I even have a folder named roms that I keep my mods in in cwm all you have to do is navigate to the folder using the volume keys then select the folder using the power button and then select the ROM/mod and flash it. Also aroma installers are the most customizable they let you select different bootanimations ect.
