OTA update

Hi all, I'm currently running Baseband .46 and due to the cable port on the phone itself i am unable to update via pc, so im stuck without dual touch and all that jazz
I was thinking about trying OTA update, so I went to the only stock-ish type rom I have which is i think '2.1-rooted-zdz' which finds an 8.64mb update, it goes through all the normal download progress bar, cuts off the screen, and boots into the box with the 4 dots underneath with a progress bar after that is done phones boots up and the following appears 'Could not update software'
i was wondering if this is because of something specific? Or has anyone got .46 shipped rom which can be flashed via xrecovery for me to try?
Thank you all for your time
*Edit*
I am on Orange-UK
Firmware Version 2.1-rooted-zdz
Baseband version 2.0.46
Kernel version 2.6.29

Help: tried flashing CM9. It faild.I restored backup now keyboard keys dont work.

I took my tablet to the beach. It never went to the beach just from my car to the house. My TF201 died on the ride home. The night before was the last time i used the keyboard.
When I got home I plugged in the tablet and began trying to install CM9. I had already rooted my prime and downloaded the bootloader unlock. I had Clockwork installed but that was not working so I uninstalled it and installed GooManager and TWRP. I made a backup then tried to flash CM9 I thought it worked but my tablet just got stuck in the CM9 boot screen for about 20 mins. I restarted the tablet and tried doing a factory reset than flashing the rom that did not work. I got a MD5 file missing error. I restored my backup and tried DLing another copy of CM9. I have tried flashing it a bunch and now it just restarts with nothing changed.
Now when I try to plug the dock in the screen turns off and will not turn on while docked unless the tablet restarts while docked. None of the keys work but the touchpad does.
If I try to open the camera I get unfortunately the camera has stopped working.

PLEASE HELP ME. I USE THIS THING EVERY DAY AND NO KEYBOARD IS KILLING ME.
after looking at the specks I am assuming that having the cyanogenmod kernel and not CM9 is causing the problem but I dont know what to do from here.

S2 doesent start after Stock Update

Hello,
I have a very big Problem. I was using SuperNexus ROM for my GS2 but because the system crashed sometimes and it was pretty unstable I wanted to go back to Stock ROM. So I downloaded the latest ROM for my GS2 from this site, the Official ROMs the newest one from Nordic Countries. Everything was fine and I also unpacked the zip and had the .tar.md5 so I opened the newest Version of Odin which was also attached to the Thread at the bottom and connected the device normally everything worked fine with no problems. Well I put the file in the PDA field and I checked Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time and clicked Start. It flashed everything normally with no Problem also it said at the end Success but then my phone rebooted and now it only shows me the Samsung Galaxy S II logo and it cant go any further I also cant get anymore in the Flash Menu with Volume Down + Home + Power what should I do???
Kind regards
alexj
*Fixed* I took out the battery for 5 Minutes and tried Download Mode again and then I flashed it again. Now it works perfect

[Q] Lenovo P780 (probably not ROW) unable to change modem.

Hello everyone.
My problem is simple, I can't change the modem.
More information:
I got my P780 some time ago with 4.2 from the vendor. For some days now, the device was softbrick'd. After a complete flash and 3 days of back and forth I got 4.4.2 S221 Life installed with TWRP and CWM recovery (can easily change between). With this version i actually CAN (miracly!) connect not only to 3G, but to 2G!! (Only version so far for me)
If it helps, I live in Germany and probably got the chinese version (chinese letters written on battery)
Problem is, the connection is not very stable :/
So I decided to switch the modem to v51. That's where the problems start. I got the zip on the ext_SD, flashed with TWRP and CWM and wiped the cache. But the "Baseband version" is still at "P780.V101..........", even after several modems, it does nothing!
My second problem is, that the WLAN-connection only works once. I enter the password, it works and after I got out of range and back in it won't connect again!! I have to "Forget" the connection and connect all over again with entering the password.
I really hope you can help me

Thanks for the quick reply.
Unfortunatly this doesn't help either. I flashed it, but the signal strength is nevertheless bouncing between nothing (maybe 10db above noise) and full reception. Also in 2G as well as in 3G.
AND the Baseband version haven't changed at all (still v101)
what i noticed is with Alice Project i got the best signal reception for WIFI and for phone also ... its using baseband of S920.V101 may be thats why...
or alternatively serach for S920 modem drivers and give a try ..
cheers

I tried nearly every modem I could find (around 15-20) but none changed the baseband version or anything.
Thats my problem

MOTO Z SHAREDIAN
Try to reflash stock ROM, try then to update to the current version.
If it doesn't find any update, use this tool:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z/development/tool-motorola-ota-link-generator-tool-t3537039
Background: I recently flashed a nougat stock rom (retbr on reteu device) and it showed "Baseband: Not Found" (or something like that) in the bootloader. When the latest update was installed, there was something written, and wifi/bluetooth is working well in cuetom rom.
