If you're bricked then go here:
http://batakang.com/ftp/?dir=DROID_RAZR
Download "XT912JBUnbrick"
1) Put your phone in AP Fastboot mode and plug it in to your PC.
2) Extract the .zip you downloaded and then run the .bat file.
3) Follow instructions.
4) When in recovery mode, FIRST wipe your data BEFORE installing the JB OTA update again.
Hope this helped

[Q] I have the phone stuck at the "M" Motorola, flashing failure

Hello,
I'm peruvian and I have a Motorola Razr XT910K, when I bought it was version 2.3.5. By error and the excitement I decided to put a Brazilian firmware without knowing that he could not and I appeared on a black screen with "flashing failure".
After that, I jumped in my house to upgrade to 4.0.4, this update was completed without problems but with the screen flashing failure to boot, entered the cell through Fasboot AP (by pressing the power and volume keys, + and -)... :crying:
A couple of days, trying to return to original ROM, tried to put an update JYDaddy ([ROM] [Only XT910S, XT910K] Original Stock Rom [for CWM Recovery Update]).
When finished the update and restart the phone and would not start, stays in the "M" from Motorola and I can not enter the system or by AP Fasboot.
Before doing that I made a CWM Backup and restore it when I get error MD5 mismatch!. Please, someone on the forum who can help me revive my XT910k?.
FYI: I have seen the log using CWM and I get this message:
I: Cheking for extendedcommand ...
I: Skipping execution of extendedcommand, file not found ...
Any idea???
Thanks, regards.
You probably need to flash the stock fxz with rsd

MD5 mismatch might have occured if you have created spaces in your backup name or might have renamed the folder.
if you cannot resolve it. you need to flash it via RSD lite
Did you try flashing it via RSD ? and hopefully your battery is still intact

I can not login by RSD Lite, when I connect my phone to PC screen goes black with AP Fastboot Mode (S) (Flash Failure).
I installed the driver and still does not recognize the phone.
What I can do in this state?
I would appreciate your quick help.

Try this:

Also make sure that your batt is charged. And since your phone is 910K, not 910, make sure that you flash the correct firmware

from recovery wipe cache and reboot. it it's not working flash stock fastboot files.
Always rememeber, if you have flashed a rom over another Rom, Wipe Factore/Reset , Wipe cache and wipe dalvik. Boot into motorola stock recovery and press both volume keys..a menu appears where you can do these things...

From what I'm reading, wiping CID seems a good solution for some. I didn't do it so far, so my advice is to read some more about CID and make a decision.
But for sure is the best for you to find motorola fastboot files for your device and use RSD to flash
Cheers!

About CID, now is my best option but read carefully before proceeding with that.

I found one Korean fastboot ROM but it is for XT910S. I'm not sure if it will work with XT910K, but since your phone is in worse condition than the other one I'm helping with maybe you want to try. First off what official version was running on the phone before it stopped working? If it is still gingerbread this process might be easier... If not, you might have to fastboot some of the gingerbread files then use recovery to update it.

I am in the same situation. My XT912 has a Flash Failure, but my battery is also dead. I'm ordering a Motorola Factory Cable for about 10 bucks which force charges the phone so you can restore it. I would suggest ordering the cable, but you can also make your own (but I'm not quite sure how to do that). Hope this helps.
i have tried the links on for xt910k & s they are not available anymore is there another link for it?

Softbrick after OTA - Need help with Status 7

Hello and thanks for any help.
I softbricked my phone trying to install the OTA, so in an attempt to recover, I ran Razr util 1.82, selected option 1, and let it install. Then, while in recovery, I attempted to install the full JB update, and get the following error message:
Verifying current system...
assert failed: apply_patch_check("EMMC:boot:8388608:46b1d867743b5 a4db403dc2cd67a124cbd2b2173:8388608:7abc93a
E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted
Anyone have any experience with this error? I've tried to troubleshoot the JB package and downloaded 3 different .zip's - has not changed or solved the problem.
Currently without a phone and hoping my phone is still salvageable! Any advice?

[Q] Screwed up, now bricked [Solved]

Hey! I were about to flash cm11 4.4.2 via a guide, I did everything as it said but when he restarted the motorola logo came up and then after that it all went black, can't go in cwm.
Yes, I am rooted.
Yes, I had cwm recovery.
I had version 4.0.4 before flashing.
I followed every step it said and then it screwed up.
Any help?
I've never worked with motorola devices so I don't know how to use the RSD etc.
I can access the Bootloader and then go inside recovery and AP Fastboot but it says it's locked. I can also access stock recovery from that. I tried to another rom from that recovery but it says Signature verification failed.
Download the right Fastboot files for your phone and then use RSD lite to return to stock
Edit: Locked means that your Bootloader is locked which is normal because the Droid RAZR bootloader cannot be unlocked.

Which recovery are you using? If using clockwork mod, you need to disable signature verification. Otherwise, twrp should work fine.

Download the one with Cingular in the name and yes, your device will be 100% percent stock. The only think that won't change is that the security flag will remain S-OFF, but that won't affect anything.

Motorola Droid Ultra XT1080 Kit Kat 4.4.4 SU6-7.3 trying to root trouble

I am trying to ultimately root this device and it is not working.
I tried to install an older build system and I'm getting the following error.
"downgraded security version update gpt_main version failed. preflash validation failed for GPT"
What does this mean? I'm new to this and could use some help.
Which file did you use to downgrade it?
I started getting the validation failure when I got to flashing system.IMG. I was using the 4.4.4 SU6-7 files.
Use the 6-7 files from crashxxl thread to downgrade using rsdlite. Then do all the stuff to root the device. If it doesn't work in rsdlite try doing it manually from your computer using fastboot. Open the XML and manually type in the commands in fastboot. You can find tutorials on how to do it exactly. Make sure when u do it manually you do mfastboot system system.img when u flash the system file.
