MicroSD card
Found the solution guys.
I had to just turn off encryption on the memory card and it copies just fine.
Thank anyway.
can it be that some sdcards can not be gold-carded?
I use a 32GB no-name microSD card and could not read it in windows after the gold-card procedure :-(
had to reformat it to be readable :-/
I have the problem same this:
" I bought a TF201 two weeks ago. And i inserted a Micro SD card 32gb Kingston to my device yesterday.
When i restart my tablet, it seems like okay when a notification appear in the screen "Preparing external storage..." , but the problem is here: the notification is pop-up in just 1 second then disappear.
And i cant enter my micro sd card. I go to setting -> storage and only see Internal storage 32gb.
Then i go to file manager and cant see anything about micro sd card.
I think the format of my micro sd card is wrong, or something wrong ? Cuz the tablet regconized something inserted in it so i can say there is nothing wrong about the device, isn't it ?" "
I using tf201 ICS .28 and have problem with sandisk 32G class 10. Help me huhu. Thanks for alls !!!
Hi, insert card into your pc or mac and check the card file system. If its ntfs, format it as fat32.

A MicroSD card formatted as NTFS should work with the Prime.
All of my 4 32 GB Class 10 MicroSD cards have been formatted as such and I have never experienced any issues with my Prime recognizing them.
Same here I have 32GB Scandisk class 10 microSD formatted with NTFS and no problems. I agree try reformatting the OS...I had problems with exfat or whatever it called

Have you tried another microSDHC card to rule out the possibility of a faulty memory card?

No ! my card is OK. TF201 accept card, in file manager show me microsd card as external storage, but when i coppy and paste data (ex: Grand Theft Auto III) it don't run.
And in "apps2sd" it show " The device doesn't have a real primary external storage, or the primary external storage is emulated".
I wan't use the card for install apps (similar card on Samsung galaxy ace S5830). Help me please ! Thanks for all !

Try resetting factory settings
Hi! Try to reset to factory settings in the OS settings. This worked for my problem with external devices.
Hello
I've recently bought a SanDisk 4GB SD Card, format it to NTFS, I was able to copy large files like my Need For Speed SD Data, .apk files. Then I've checked it in my phone if it is success. But for some reason, .apk files were not showing up on the list, all I see is the SD Data of my NFS. Please help
I'm sorry about my english grammar by the way. :silly:

Other people says that having a corrupted file on a FAT-32 card and you won't open it, you have to reformat it again. Anyways, what sould be the allocation size?
I tried to copy a 6gb video file to my external memory card and I received an Explorer error message, when it was close to being completed, that the file size was too big for the device. I have a Sandisk 64gb card that I confirmed to be formatted to Exfat. I also have plenty of remaining space. I have had no troubles copying files smaller than 4gb and I have had no other issues with the card since I have had it now for a few months.
Playing videos on the Note 2 was the only reason why I purchased the 64gb card. I do not have enough space to copy the file to my internal card.
Anyone have any ideas of what I can check for to solve this issue?

It is the phone/JB. S3 has the same issue. Put the SD card in your computer or share it via wireless network.
Thanks, I will take the SD card out and copy it in the PC.
