Using this on my sgs3 now. This is what I've been trying to port. I've never ported anything so I created the other topic asking for tips.

I've talked to the dev and he said that he could port it for us with no problem. Now that bad news.... He doesn't currently own an i717 so he will need testers. I told him i was available to test. Of you all are interested as well let me know.

I recently have spoken with him as well...I as well told him I would test...
He dosent have the Note..So its going to be extremely hard for him to make changes and so forth...
We need to get the man a NoTe! If you like his work which is outstanding...for further development

Its called a "bounty thread"...and to achieve this its best to have someone with alot of time here and very high thanks record..This has more creditable then someone who dosent have any at all...And the user collects donations from everyone and is responsible for the donation getting to the dev once a specific rom lands to the users..or simply wants to get a device for a certain developer.
Bump!

Thanks for the info wish! So who would be a good "BOUNTY HUNTER"? Any input would be welcome. Tia!

Why don't you read instead of being spoon fed?
The unlock was successful but there are still bugs in my coding somewhere. I will receive a new testing device in a week or so. Hopefully I will have a nice Christmas present for all of you LGOG users out there. if you have any questions about my methods or questions regarding time feel free to contact me.

I loved the look of your cm10 kang. Any chance you could turn it into a cm10 theme?

Lol this is a bit awkward for me to be here since I don't have this phone (but I might get it) since all the devs have done amazing work here. People like you are the best in the community since they "power" the phone. All of us appreciate it thanks.:thumbup:

Port ubuntu touch from n7100 to i605

Is there any way to port Ubuntu touch developer preview to Verizon i605. I seen it was on the n7100. I would like to try it , but I have no clue how to port or make roms. Any help would be well appreciated.
Have you seen this - - > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Porting
I was playing around with porting Touch, but got side tracked with some fun with RootBox.

Its not that simple. You can either install linux and do the work yourself or hope someone else does it.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda premium
Was hoping lol. I seen the n7100 has it. Didnt think it would be that hard but it is. Ill just wait.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
Well, you could always backup your device and install the n7100 version. See of it will boot. If it does or doesn't, with a backup, no harm no foul.

You'll probably mainly need a kernel for the lte hardware in the 7105/every American model.

I can make a build if I was given a week, college life and crap will probably get in the way. If you have any spare computers, you can put them to use and run Ubuntu on them. Don't install the international version, too many different parts. Try looking through at&t/tmobile/sprint forums seeing how radios won't matter at all.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda premium
That would be great.
