Haven't watched the video yet (at work) but my new Note turned my iPhone4 into an iPod for an 8 year girl.
true u could just smak the iphone with it and it would shatter to a million bits of tiny bla bla bla.
Lol that was funny, great review lol
Awesome.
He did that review like an old-school WWF wrestler.
Lookathisthing! Lookathisthing! Haha. So great. Its also interesting to see quite a few people who jave had both international and att version saying that the snapdragon is faster in day to day use vs the exynos. I've seen a few others that say it as well. Goes to show that a few points in benchmarks don't mean jack.

That should be the title of the review with the Hulkster and Mean Jean doing a review of the Note!
Hilarious!!!

This guy has so much enthusiasm, he's like a kid at Christmas!! Very funny!
Haha sounds like a late night infomercial
That was classic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fun to watch. He's almost exhausted at the end ha ha. Great review!
Hey guys, ive only had this phone for 3 weeks and im so happy with it. the build quality is excellent, and there is an excellent camera and specs under the hood of this phone. I've compared it to many of the new phones, and im\'m pleased to say that the xperia s is one of the best of them. Here are some of my comparisons:
Galaxy Nexus (thanks to my friend):
They both run smooth, 5mp camera is mediocre, and is unable to take the high quality shots of our phone, performance is nearly the same,
Jellybean runs smooth, but so does our phone with only ics
Galaxy Note (thanks to my cousin):
Smaller screen than the note, but text and websites look sharper on our screen. performance is way better, maybe it was just me, but touchwiz was really choppy and looked crap comparing it to sony's ui,
Galaxy S 2:
similar, our phone is a tinny bit faster, and i cant understand why touchwiz is so ugly............. performance is ok, but our phone is better at viewing photos and videos thans to our super HD screen
ill have to say, the galaxy s2 is pretty good for a phone that was released a year ago though..........
feel free to make your own comparisons below............

+1 I agree.......
I think if people act mature there shouldn't be no wars. My thought is this. I've had x10 And arc past years. Recently I picked up the gs3 (first non sony). I can say just by looking at videos of Xperia s the gs3 is faster (2gb ram) but gs3 is uglier than the Xperia s. I'd say Xperia s Is great and I'm still trying to find one to test since I love Sony. I think if you like design and being different from thé crowd go Sony xperia. If you want that speed boost with less exciting design go Samsung.
Hope I don't sound fanboyish with that.

Have always loved Sony had arc s and now xs since launch, loved every minute until 2 days ago, when the wife got her galaxy s3 and as much as I hate to say it it is far superior.
For me the whole design and feel is much nicer, the keyboard is a joy to use, touch buttons more responsive and the whole phone is so much quicker no lag no constant home screen redraw.
Don't like to settle for second best so trading mine in

The trouble with the xperia s is that it's been riddled with software issues from day one and it just can't seem to stabilize itself even in these ics days judging by the number of issues people have been having with that.
Mine isn't constant homescreen redraw but homescreen crashes.
I've compared the xperia with the GS2, GS3 and note. I can say that it's better than all except the GS3. And there it's mainly a performance difference. A slight one at that. Wait until the wife's GS3 settles down after a few weeks, I promise you the lag will be clearly visible too.
My friend's note was the same. When he got it, it was as smooth as butter but when I saw him again a few weeks later, I couldn't believe it was the same phone. Lagging and stuttering like a flipping joker.
You're going to have to wait for jellybean to reduce the lag in android.

Especially if 'someone' starts comparing it to the iphone... apple fanboyz are cancer.
Nevertheless, i like hearing "your phone is the best". A bit childish but i admit it.
Envoyé depuis mon LT26i avec Tapatalk
The reason I choose xperia s over galaxy s3 or htc one x is due to the screen clarity and also the camera..
tho each phone have its pros and cons anyway..depending on someone preference and usage

SPRINT HTC ONE VS AT&T LG OPTIMUS G (Mini review)(Comparison Pics & Benchmark Scores)
I recently had to switch carriers so I purchased a HTC one for sprint and I still have my OG-E970 unlocked for T-Mobile
after leaving AT&T.
Honestly I still prefer my Optimus G as of my first week with the HTC One .The boom sound that they made a big stink about is not even that loud as they made it out to seem.Comparing the sound to quality is the thing. The optimus g is louder but the clarity of the boom sound is what makes it better and clear when it comes down to music and videos.I prefer the features of q-slide and quick memo compared to the new blink feed and other HTC apps.Graphic wise I really don't see a big difference. The highest brightness level of the HTC one is a little more then half of what the Optimus G can produce with brightness. The 1080 screen compared to the OG is more clear but not much of a difference to the naked eye.
Both get hot after playing video games and watching movies because of the quad-core chips.
The OG has a slot for micro sd which is great but 32g with the HTC One is fine for me.
CAMERA:The HTC is the better camera front and back but the 4mp(ultrapixel) is useless for anything past social network sharing while the 8mp for the OG is good for printing pictures. You also lose quality when you zoom into pictures with the HTC One but fantastic with low lighting.
This is my mini review,If anyone has any questions about the phones compared to each other.Just ask
And no I'm not abandoning my OG and this is not a goodbye post.Just a phone geek with more then one phone and against the mediocre fame of Samsung. And as a fan of both LG OG and the HTC One for different reasons,Let me ask you. Will we ever get to see a video comparison of these phones on YouTube? Not with Samsung and Apple running around town.:what:
This is purely my opinion for anyone considering to troll.

Kudos for having the guts to post this. XDA, (Especially LGOG) community is very sensitive. They'll probably find offense to this some how lol. Very honest review. I know you picked your likes and dislikes of both phones but whoch would you seriously see yourself using daily? Not in terms of specs, or popularity, but which is more stable and fluid for everyday use?

Considering I only had the HTC One for only a week, there's possibly shortcuts I haven't figured out for daily use but I take many pictures with both phones and quick capture is better with the HTC for multi shots. For multi tasking when I watch movies and YouTube videos and I wanna text at the same time,OG is great for that. Both is terrific for playing apps since both screens are both 4.7 in screens. But to answer your question. The optimus G for multitasking when your bored or at work and The HTC for pictures and movies because of the boom sound speakers. So daily use would be the Optimus G (solely my opinion)

4mp is only good for social media purposes?
Come on....even your full HD TV is only just 2mp regardless of size and at 60 inches you're probably going to be standing a few feet back and still be amazed at how sharp the picture is!
HTC is not dumb to put a smaller MP count camera...it's the size of the pixels that matter when it comes to quality!
Granted 6mp would have been nicer for cropping purposes...

+1, marketing really has these guys good. I doubt any of you are printing poster shots. Also the camera wrecks everything, ever, in low light.
I never said the camera wasn't good but honestly if you try to "blow these pictures" or even zoom in,it loses quality a ton.

Obviously if you exceed 100%. But at 6mp you can print poster size no problem.
I have a 5DMII and when I zoom past 100%, even the 21mp image looks crappy. I stopped pixel peeping a while ago when I realized I would never print past 16x24.

I wanted to print 32x48 last year and when I got the quote, I couldn't get myself to do it. Plus I couldn't find a frame that size readily either.
But seriously though I hardly remember that my phone even has a camera.

So, my friend (she's an iZombie of course) just asked if my phone was the "S4 Note".
I know this probably more because of Samsung's S4 fragmentation with the zoom/active/mini etc. models but I have noticed I've gotten quite a few funny comments/questions about this device, and so far no where to share it in my favorite XDA section!
Some of you must have a few humorous comments that you've received, post them here and share the laughs.

You look like you're holding an iPad Mini to your ear (on days that I forget my BT Ear Piece)
Why are you using a tablet to take pictures (but that usually stops once they see the pics and I don't have to do endless scrolling on websites)
Apple is Innovative, just look at my perfectly sized 4" screen, to which I usually reply,,,,Android was innovative in 2010 when they started having 4" screens, and you don't see me having any issues holding my 5.5" phone.
Best one....at the office....my co-worker always running around, trying to find another Apple user to see if he can use his proprietary connector to charge his phone.....out of spite I put my USB Cable on his desk once.

I occasionally get the "wow is that thing big" but alot of people around here either have a s3 s4 or note 2 so it doesn't really phase them. When i first got it is when I got alot of comments because it was still so new. A friend of mine asked me to see it (when a hot girl asks for your phone you just hand it over hahaha) but she is tiny, by tiny I mean 4'10" and maybe 110lbs. Well it truly looked like she was holding a tablet. Haha. That's when I saw how big it is. But I can never go back to a smaller phone now.
People: "how can you use a phone that big?"
Me: "I'm used to handling big things."

here lately, there are more note 2's or s4's than iphones at the hospital so not as many comments as there used to be.
I get it all the time at the university I work at. Big screen tv, 80's boombox, table for our food. I just wait until one of my coworkers tries to show a youtube video, I go to the same one, and then put my phone next to theirs. That usually quiets those types of people.

Hey guys. I was searching around on youtube (just another procrastination while preparing for exams), and I found this HILARIOUS video of two young boys performing a LG G2 water test. I came to the conclusion that they both have a G2 and one of them puts it under water.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_UuEdCgxeA
The results are below, but the video is worth seeing - the kid's face is priceless!
Well the kid that put it into water figured something was wrong, so he took it out. The microphone didn't survive but the phone kept recording - you saw that coming.
Poor parents who are gonna pay for a new one, though
My hand would hurt from the whipping my kid would get if he dunked his (or MY!) phone into water.
