I need some help from the XDA community :angel:
I am French and I just came back from the US were I bought the new Galaxy Note II ( model: SCH-I605).
Could you please tell me how to put the menu in French and how to unlock it.
I'm not sure if it has French. You can check at settings then language and input.

I already checked in the settings there is no french. It is hard to understand the explanations to unlock the phone, could you please explain it in a more simply way?

I installed the application and changed all my settings. I can not uninstall it and he causes problems with other applications. I cant see it on "Manage Applications" (Menu Settings)

If your rooted use titanium backup and uninstall it that way.

Your not rooted and it might root it. Search the forum and look for automatic bootloader unlock because it will root your phone for you too.

Tried using galaxsim but it allows me to pay thru credit card after hitting unlock. Where can I find an app that's free to unlock?

It's the same application that I used. It leads me to the galaxsim pro unlock which is a paid app. Ive installed galaxsim and after hitting unlock it says that unlocking will only be successful if I download the paid galaxsim unlock pro.

Did you download thespecific file?
The version of GalaxsimUnlock from XDA threads is free, only the play store version one is to pay

Uninstall anybpreviuos version of the app and use the one from the link I sent you, if that still fails I can send you the apk file in haven when I get home.

Need help Orange PL
Hi,
I have a problem with my I9300 (Orange PL).
I'm looking for a solution on the forum but with no positive result.
I have the latest Omega rom. Voodoo and GalaxSim Unlock from PLAY store did not see the EFS files. GalaxSim from XDA writes that "Your device is unlocked" but it is not true.
Maybe I need to do as some suggest downgrade to 4.04 or 4.1?

The app says my phone is unlocked when infact it's locked to Three UK and asks for a code when a foreign SIM is inserted

You have probably installed one of the newer modems and you have the new EFS format. I believe that one can not be unlocked with this program. Read the thread on EFS and in case you have an older EFS you can restore that one (and also an older modem), unlock the phone and then upgrade with the unlocked EFS to the new format (by writing the new modem). Take backups of the EFS at all steps.

Thank you for your reply! How can I install the correct modem version with odin ? Before it I was lose my IMEI number, now I have it but I dont want to do any damage in the phone, so what can I exatly do with it step by step ?

I am on 4.3 and have efs v2
it doesn't work for me, I am getting everything green, it says that my phone is unlocked and when I put an unsupported SIM, I get asked to put an unlocking code.

I have just sim-unlocked my galaxy s3 from O2 UK .
I tried searching a lot but couldn't find a thread which would guide me to unlock the bootloader of my S3 .
Now when i have unlocked from O2 carrier , can i unlock the bootloader ?

As far as I know O2 hasn't locked the bootloader for the S3, only AT&T did that across the pond.

thanks for replying, but is there any procedure to know wether unlocking the bootloader is allowed or not ?
It shouldn't be locked in the first place, try to root if that works it's not locked. (as usual rooting will void your warranty.)

There is no lock on the boot loader. It is unlocked by default. Only Verizon over here in the states locked the boot loader by default. Not AT&T, Delsus
Meaning don't worry about the boot loader. How hard is it to understand that?

My mistake I wasn't far off though
But yeah you do not need to unlock the bootloader it was unlocked when it rolled off the production line and will be forever unlocked.

Th "4g" international version is the i9305.
You can go to settings > about phone.
There's also a massive black screen when you first turn on the phone with the model number on it

If it's LTE then it's 19305
I strongly advise you to read the guides before going any further

But when i tried to install Root_SuperSU.1.02-Busybox.1.21.0.zip frm cwm recovery . I got an error .
E. Failed to verify whole-file signature
E. Signature verification failed.
Please help me .
Have you used the /!\ button to report this thread yet? You need it moved to i9305 q&a.
If you're using stock recovery you will get this error. Means you missed a step because you haven't flashed custom recovery.
In custom recovery is an option to toggle off signature verification.
If you haven't reported your thread yet, please to so now
