Need a stock rom for Alcatel ot-997d - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How can i get a stock rom for Alcatel ot-997d ?
I need a tpt rom for this device .

AW: Need a stock rom for Alcatel ot-997d
The "one touch upgrade tool" for PC does a temporary Download before flashing it to the phone.
look for this ~600 MByte Image file ...
I'm not at home to check if is the correct option for you
Or use a TWRP recovery backup :fingers-crossed:

You'll have to factory reset using some leaked stock ROM for your phone off the internet. Data will be erased in the process. If you can still access your file system back up the stuff you don't want to lose. Go to this link http://androidxda.com/download-intex-stock-rom-models and find your phone model. Click the download button for it to get your stock ROM, then click the blue instructions hyperlink to read how to flash it. This will put your phone back to factory settings. Just an important thing to note, I have never tried those stock ROMS or the flash tool in the instructions so do this at your own risk.
Hmmm, thanx for your advice, i will try it tomorrow and let u know. Many thanx

HOLD THE FACTORY RESET IDEA. I have found something that might help you restore your Nandroid backup. Unfortunately it involves using command prompt. This guide explains pretty clearly what to type and everything. If there is any part of this guide you don't understand, post a reply or send a message. http://www.modaco.com/topic/299479-howto-performing-a-nandroid-restore-manually-using-adb/. But before you do this you might want to follow this guide to know how to install the android debug bridge tools. http://www.howtogeek.com/125769/how-to-install-and-use-abd-the-android-debug-bridge-utility/
Thanx man, flashd the stock ROM, now everything is fine, thanx… thanx… thanx…

[Q] system recovery installation abortion

Hi guys. Why does my phone always aborted while installing update zip or custom rom.
Im using a stock recovery in mediatek mt6572 . Also do you have any idea about its cwm
Recovery image? Thanks.
Im using Cherry mobile emerald.
You cannot flash via stock recovery. You need root. A quick google search reveals that you can root with king root or root master.

Use MtkDroidTools 2.4.8 (or higher) to backup ROM and install CWM, then flash you update .zips or ROM after you have done that.
