I was given an Titan II to play with but it turned out to be a demo phone so it is loaded with a demo ROM. I am an android guy and am clueless on where to start with getting just a standard ATT ROM on there and removing the demo ROM.
Could anyone wiser than me get me started in the right direction

I'm not up to speed on what a demo ROM is and isn't. I recommend you start here at this link and do it the old fashion way; manually. - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37384687&postcount=1478 , You will need Cab Sender which is available at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1306415. It is not possible to HSPL your device as of this typing.
Basically it was a demo loaded phone and a hard reset does not erase the content. It is ROM used for the demo phones that plays a video loop contantly and has a bunch of preloaded content such as a full address book and SMS log. That way the customer can get a feel of the phone.
Its all packaged in a preloaded demo ROM and the only to get the phone back functional is to get the stock carrier ROM installed

That is a 4 part DL, do I DL all 4 parts? or is that 4 different mirrors
Yes, you need to download all 4 parts into same folder and afterwards you have to unpack with Winrar or 7zip by double-clicking on any of the parts.
Awesome, thanks guys, all worked out smooth........now if there just was something out there for the Focus 2 Demo I have

I loaded it and it runs fine. When I try and download an app it starts then immediately says failed and a box that advises me to check my one click setting and try again. It appears to be comparing my one click setting phone number with my device but my gtab does not have a phone number? Anyone get it to work or seen this?
TIA
Yep, works and even updates itself. Your one-click settings are part of your Amazon account, and need to be set from their website.

Ya I did that and turned one click on but it wanted a phone number. I put in my home number but still seem to get the same error. I even turned both one clicks on with the same result. I'll keep playing with it...
Thanks
Do you have an Android phone that you can install from first? The app was designed with phones in mind, so that might be the issue.

No I sure dont. I think that is part of the problem. Was wondering if there was anyone in the same boat as me that got it to work. The Amazon site gives away freebies all the time so I wanted to take advantage of that.
Thanks
need to be install on phone first
yes it DOES work on the gtab
but you need to download it on a phone first, and after that you will have to setup your 1click setting and you will be good to go.

Yes the freebies are nice. You might be able to do some hoop-jumping with SIP and all of that crap, but I doubt it.
I have a phone with the Amazon app, so i made a separate Amazon account for my gTab. Helps keep the two separate, as I want different apps on my phone than my gTab.
If you don't have a phone, I believe you can enter an email address and do it that way.
Don't need a phone
I don't have an android phone and have a stock ROM on my gtab. The amazon app store is working great. I don't think it ever asked me to enter a phone number.
I gave it my email, they sent a direct link to the APK, downloaded and installed. Then went in to amazon a/c and turned 1-click ON. That was it. I have installed numerous apps and they work (except 1 or 2 which I guess were meant for a phone).
No phone here either and Amazon market works for me on Vegan.

That's how I did it as well. It asks for a phone number OR an e-mail address. Just provide your gmail address and you'll receive the e-mail on the g-tab (if it's set up as your default account) download the APK, install, and it should work fine.
I can't even load this application. It starts, then immediately goes to a black screen. Have any of you experienced this?
I've cleared data, uninstalled, and pulled battery. Still doesnt work.

Are you using a legitimate copy purchased from the market?....It uses a security check to make sure that you own it on the up & up. If you did purchase it from the market, make sure you're signed into your Google account before you try to open it, so that it can do it's license check. If that doesn't help you, email the developers, they have pretty good support. I've been using the app without issues for a couple of months now.

Glad you got it working. It really makes switching roms a breeze. One piece of advice for you though, take the phone rom "update.zip" and copy it to your computer for safe keeping. It's in /sdcard/bootmanager/phonerom. In the event that you ever have an sd card failure, you need that update.zip to boot back into your phone rom without going through extreme measures to recover your phone.
My girlfriend loves the sims games, but she didn't have android on her touchpad yet (CM wasn't stable enough till about 3.5 where i'd install it for her as her OS). I added her gmail account to my phone and we bought SIMS 3 on it to her account, and low and behold, EA doesn't let you install it on the touchpad.
I removed her account from my phone and now the game won't play on my phone, which is understandable. I backed it up via titanium and shipped it over to her touchpad, but it won't download any of the additional files.
It says it's going to download, then says NaN 0MB of 0MB and calls it quits.
Anyone know how to get around this? She bought the game, and the licence check will pass, but it's BS that it doesn't work.
I think the Nan download issue is global reading the comments on the review.. maybe they will fix that soon

I copied the data download from my phone to my tablet for sims and sim city to get them going. Neither supports the HP's resolution. On Sim City it just cuts off the edges, but it is still totally playable. On sims, the choice boxes for actions aren't there and graphical components like house numbers appear in random places. I haven't found any file to edit for the resolution settings yet...anyone else?
I do not have the additional data since I recently wiped my phone. =/
Trolling from my ATRIX 4G's XDA premium app, still on the gold medal winner of worst customer satisfaction for the second year in a row! Congrats!

I copied the entire folder indicated above from my phone to my tablet in the same location. I installed the apps like usual first, but couldn't download the data the conventional way.

Thanks!! that worked.....
I also got it to run by copying the data from my phone but like Danknee said above there's a resolution issue so it's not really playable. Menu options are missing or off screen.
An update on this, I found a way to get the game to work using the method that is described here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1393701
It basically forces a 16:9 aspect ratio which the game apparently needs. The down side is you lose some of your screen space and if you want it back when you are done with the game you have to restore the files you replaced and reboot so it is a bit tedious just to play one game.
hi:
i got black screen that didnt go away, so i rebooted..
then got error:: process com.ea.simcitydeluxe_na has stopped.. force close..
google is no help..
thanx
Anyone ever figure out a way to get the game to work on the touchpad? Without changing a bunch of files?
I was reading that someone managed to get the palm pre version worked on webos.... Perhaps that might be a better and easier way to get this working.
Failing that is there a one (or two maybe?) Solution to replacing some files and rebooting? Forgive my Android noob knowledge but something akin to a batch file could do this perhaps?
That way the method motoki suggested wouldnt be so bad at all.
Op here, still have not found a workable solution.

After Googling the issue, the only way I can find now is to flash an RUU that doesn't have the demo software on it.
With ICS, it's possible that there is an app you can disable in the Apps list, but I've found there are several Verizon won't let you disable.
When I first got my original Incredible, I remember reading someone claiming they disabled Demo Mode in EPST, accessed by dialing ##778 on the dialer, but I don't see anything relating to it on my phone, and I can't find that post again, and it was a different phone over 2 years ago.
One post I did find said just doing a normal software update could remove demo mode, but I wouldn't trust that if it's a system app.
The best idea in my opinion is to back up all your data through whatever means you can and flash the RUU.
I have downloaded and used an App from the Windows App Store called "Flash Videos" quite a while ago, but since then, I have had to Hard Reset My Phone.
As well as you and I know, I no longer have the App and would Love to get it back.
Does Anyone here know Where I can Download it for Free since it has been discontinued in the Windows App Store?
If Anyone also Has it in a file that I can load from the Storage Card then I would be Grateful for the Help with either Locating Where to Download the File for Free or to have Anyone Here Share the File.
Thank You to Anyone and Everyone who Can and Will Help Me with this Issue.
i have the same issue

I too had to hard reset my phone and when I went back into the store to redownload my apps, flash video app was not available for me too download anymore. I paid for the full version like 6 dollars since I found it very useful. Now I can't get it back after the hard reset.

There should be an option to Download the File to the Storage Card especially for Paid Apps that can be reinstalled after a Hard Reset.
That's why I have reached out to the Forum. There are people who pull the Apps and make them available to be put on the Storage Card.

try logging into your Microsoft account/store, select purchase history. Usually all app you ever downloaded and installed will be here and you can still access and re-install.
hope that helps.

Your S5 is Android. And Not for this Windows Phone App that I was asking about.
But as for your S5, go download Dolphin Browser and Look for the Flash Player App that will let you Watch the videos in that web site and Many Many More.
The Both of them can readily be found. Dolphin Browser in the Play Store and Flash Player Here in the Forums under Android.
I found it but the cert is broken.
Same issue with me too. I found the xap, but it won't install either direct or through the app deployment tools I got in the WP8.1 SDK tools. Anyone with help on this?
Any update with this problem?
You need to ask people with JTAG and/or Riff box, ATF box, dolphin clip, lumia jigs hardware. They can install marketplace encrypted XAP and then make installable one with this method or @djamol one (deleted from XDA forum). I don`t know exact procedure (about how to install encrypted xap with all that hardware things), only know it can be achieved. PM me if you can and want to share the details.
Also there is another apps people like to see available again like Metrotalk and some others. As soon as you find a mate who are up to this, tell us. Looks like @GoodDayToDie will not try to mess with that.
I don't think that's possible, not even with JTAG devices. You need someone who already has it installed, and has an interim unlock with file access (Samsung, W1 or JTAG unlocked), they can repack the app. I doubt there's a way to install encrypted apps that aren't available in Store anymore.

Here is the quote from the PM with one experienced and respectful mate from here
Is marketplace XAP decompilation is possible?
It is possible, after a fashion, but not directly. I've decompiled apps before but I'm not just going to post the method on a thread like this one
Unless you have JTAG hardware, it's not possible with a Lumia. I'm still hesitant to tell you the method. It's not that I'm worried that people would discuss it widely - it's not secret in any way, and has been discussed before on the forums - there's just some things I don't want to be associated with.
