[Q] How to go back to stock verizon boot animation? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I am using Jelly 'Beans' Rom + Perseus kernel on Galaxy note 2. I like this ROM except for this boot animation. Can somebody tell me where I can find and install stock verizon animation?

Didn't work for me.. Still had jelly beans ani.... all it did was add sound to my boot animation... And i hate to complain but it's not even the stock sound.
But thank you!!!
I really liked the 4g lte ani.

get stock rom and extract it then.
there are quite a few different options in that thread, so make sure you are getting the right one. there are tons of boot animations out there, and they seem simple enough to make... so if all fails just do it yourself

So I deleted the jellybeans Bootanimation.zip and installed the stock boot animation. and now I have an android boot animation... Where did that come from? Anyone k ow why it's using that animation instead of the stock files I installed?

Yeah it says "android" in silver letters and light scrolls across the letters.. Lol I'm sorry I don't know how to describe it.
I'm pretty sure it's just a stock Android boot animation. As I have seen it back in the day on my fascinate.
But i have no idea where it is located.

That is the stock animation that is played when there is no other boot animation. Most of the custom kernels do not support the Samsung format. They instead support the more standard bootanimation.zip. If there isn't a bootanimation.zip, the stock animation is played instead.
If you check out Scott's ROM threads, he has a downloadable zip with a set of custom boot animations, one of which is very similar to the stock Samsung animation.

Yeah It doesn't look like they changed it at all from GB, pretty lame. The dialer also looks horrendous with the grey numbers.

Red square on select? Who thought that was a good idea?
Edit: guess the red box is a system option:

Regarding the red box when the screen transitions, there is a developer setting you simply need to turn off to sort that lol. I'll let you find it for yourselves.
I'll be flashing this later! Enjoy!

Agreed! But it is only a matter of time before that TW gets ripped off by dev's and the stock launcher is slapped on haha. This leak I would bet is helping CM9 take shape!

Would this work on ours or is there some kernel tweeks that need to be made ?

Essentially, but it'd be a hacked up kernel
Glad they kept the ics unlock screen

So in other words applying this without that kernel would rexk our phones

I highly doubt that what you see in that video, is what your going to get in an official ICS release.

[Q] CRT-Off Animation?

Hi, so far I've flashed the available ROMs and none of them has CRT-Off animation? I like this feature a lot, is there any way to flash the animation? Thanks so much.

It isn't available yet mate....you'll have to wait for more roms....development is still in its infancy on the s3, give it some time

Ahh right, but I was pretty sure that it was available for the nexus and the S2 for the first few ROMs that came out! Thanks.
Any updates on this yet? Thanks!
It is available but it needs to be installed by the user, there was a thread about it on here.
Which means you will have to decompile some files.
If you've never done any of this before then you probably don't want to even try this.
If that's the case then wait for a dev to implement it.

Google Now for ICS (1 zip flash)

Using this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29756226
I flashed M6 - "Mikeyxda's version 6" Offline/Online zip (the first one) and it seems to run fine right out of the box. I'm running King Kang...
Once you boot back into the ROM, just press and hold the search button and choose Google (not voice search). Once viewing the search screen, click settings in the program ad enable Google Now (it's actually a separate program from the enhanced voice search).

Hey Borijess, we've come a long way from our Streaks, eh?
Not sure about flashing over another 1, as this is the first 1 I have tried. It works really good though compared to the Jelly Bean version. No harm in trying if you have a backup though, I suppose

Download one of the stock distributions, extract what you want from there, and put that on your phone. Good to go. If you don't know how to do this yet, you'll improve your mind.
