Bluetooth mouse app between droids - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Strange request for a strange situation however I figure there might be an app for what I am looking for.
I have two droid phones (Droid X and and S3) and I am looking for an app that will allow me to use my droid X as a bluetooth mouse on my S3.
Does such an app exist? I've searched through the app forum as well as the playstore and have yet to find anything.
I understand it's a strange request but i'd appreciate any feedback!
Thanks!

BlueCtrl does just that and more, here it is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501060
N.B. it needs root

[Q] Urgent office solution? Tablet managing a phone

Hallo,
There is an office request and I know his iPad is incapable of
so I turned to my favorite forum for help
My boss needs a tablet that can control (view - accept - reject) calls and sms from his dual sim phone.
Is there any solution using an android tablet with his (nokia) phone?
Cat it work with a dual-sim android phone + android tablet?
The point is NOT to be distracted from the phone while working,
everything needs to be controlled by the tablet (phone held in pocket)
Thank you very much
it is important for me to find any solution available.
PS. I know there are dual-sim boxes to use with BT on tablet
but they require sim-cloning and turning off the mobile in order to work.
We need a seamless procedure, thus, using the phone as the call router.
no ideas?
The best android-related forum and no one bothered to reply?
nice.
You can check out Tablet Talk.
It's an app on the Play Store.
Here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...m_term=calls+and+texts+to+tablet+from+android
I found it just with a little Google searching.
Don't curse the forum.
Hit thanks if I helped.

search gives me crappy apps,
I need suggestions from someone with exrerience,
not results based on tags.

[Q] Using a tablet as screen

Hi all,
I was hoping to have something clarified:
I was planning on using my Z2 to take notes in lectures, except the screen is too small for my liking.
I've recently been offered an old Nexus 7 and have accepted, which is a little bigger and should be easier to use with a keyboard. Here is my question:
<b> Is it possible to use the Nexus as a screen for my Z2? </b>
I've heard of but never used things like screencast, screen mirroring etc, but most of the articles on the web aren't helpful when it comes to my question. Has anyone else done anything similar? Does anyone have any useful advice for me (besides "get a mac" or something similarly sassy).
Many thanks!

Im not too sure of anything but since no one answered here is my suggestion
Try playing with:
Screen casting
Screen sharing
Screen mirroring
Team viewer
Vnc server (and client)
MHL addaptor
Not sure what else
Have you googled "how to share screen to other android devices"
Or anything simular perhaps
Or you could do what the post below suggests ;P
Why not use the nexus without the phone and take your notes locally on the tablet?

[Q] Pairing my Gear S with HTC One didn't work as intended at all

Hello guys,
So, i just bought a Samsung Gear S for my HTC One, and yes i know this is not 100% fully working, but i'll get a Samsung Alpha in few months.
Well, i followed your tutoriels and guides, and nothing went as planned.
The most embarassing thing is that i can't acces the Samsung Gear Store : is this a normal thing ? Or did i just mess up somewhere ?
Surprinsingly, S Voice function works 100%. I can't control my music tho. And the phone calls works very fine.
So, do you guys have any idea how i could fix this store issue ? Cause i would like to install something like Opera Mini or some other apps.
Thank you for reading, and sorry for my poor english
You need a Samsung phone that you can pair with the Gear s in order access the Samsung app store to install apps on the watch.
Best to find a friend with a compatible phone , pair it with theirs, then add whatever apps you want.
Or go to an electronics store that has compatible phones on display and pair your watch with one of them if you can.

I have an HTC M8 too and tried the workaround. This caused various issues and a few things didn't work post install of the Gear Mgr. I wanted something better and needed access to the gear store. And the last thing I wanted was be forced to buy and use a Samsung phone.
This isn't for everybody, but here's my fix...
I just bought a cheapo Samsung Gear S compatible phone off eBay and turned it into a notification relay point. You can get one for as little as ~$70:
Plug in it, connect to Wi-Fi, download Gear Mgr, clone the apps/email (from HTC) you want Notifs from, and set it up to remotely send the chosen app's notifications. For your HTC's texts, there are a handful of SMS forwarding apps on Play that work great. One app allows for you to reply with the native mobile # just as if it came from your HTC. Last step, set your watch to be standalone.
Everything works, including S-voice.
Thanks a lot guys ! A friend of mine has à Galaxy Note 2, i think it will be fine !
I'll keep you in touch if anyone wants to know what happened next !

Could you explain this a bit more, please?
I have someone who would love to get the Gear S but is a hard core iPhone user. I guess he could get a cheapo Galaxy phone, connect it to Wifi at home, but I don't understand the clone part, and how the cheapo gets the HTC notifications.
Guessing it may not work at all with an iPhone, but still interested in understanding the process.
Samsung could have really tapped that market by releasing a Gear Manager app on the Apple app store, and advertised a bit more.
No one knows what's on my wrist, but once explained, a lot of people would be potential customers if only the friggin Galaxy phone wasn't a prerequisite.

What you need to do is basically put the same apps on the relay device as your daily driver. Sign in to each app and then go to the Gear Mgr and make sure that app has a check mark.
As far as email. Use the stock Samsung email app and/or GMail . Enter all of your account info and, again, make sure the Gear Mgr is set.
So basically, all your doing is taking a dummy S compatible phone and creating a clone of your phone's app and email configuration.
Not sure if the iStore has an app that will forward your texts...but, hopefully, they should. If not, Google voice is another way to go.

Call Recorder For Moto X

Hello Everyone,
I have MOTO XT1058, before buying this phone I though I would get a call recording software for this mobile easily as there are many available in play store. I have tried almost all call recording software but none worked in my mobile. Some just record my own voice not recipient and some just don't record anything.
I read on one forum that we need to root the mobile and than call recorder will work, so I tried different method but that also didn't work.
So Can anyone here please provide me a working Call Recorder app for "MOTO X"
I will be highly thankful to you.
I see the view counter is increasing but still no replt.

Hi thank you for your reply
I tried the app you mentioned but it also does not work on moto x. Is it necessary for me to root my mobile in order to use a call recorder
Thanks
As I said that I am not a Moto X user, I am not sure about it. But most of the devices are working better after rooting. You could also try by rooting your Phone.
Can anyone who is using this device help me on how to root moto x I tried different method but most of them don't work as my kernal version is updated.
Thanks
