Ok so, I started by unlocking the bootloader, and using the All in one toolkit to flash a recovery. From there I flashed a Pure GSM Sense rom and now its stuck on the 4g lte screen! What should I do now?!
Thanks and any help is appreciated!!
Ok so I tried flashing it again and its says succesfull but gets stuck at the "HTC quietly brilliant" white screen. I'm thinking i should go back to stock, any help!!?
Thanks
You need to flash the boot.img separately if you are still s-on. Plenty of threads will tell you how.

Hello everyone. The other day i used revolutionary to Perma-root my evo 3d. Everything was fine, till my text messages were not sending. So i took out the battery and popped it back in, and all i got was the HTC logo, then a dimmed black screen. Yes i can get into hboot, but i have clockworkmod recovery. I seem to be having a difficult time flashing the official sprint evo 3d rom. Any help is appreciated.
Download the pg86100.zip to revert back to stock in the dev section then go into hboot and let it update and you will start back at the stock ROM

try hboot flashing twrp recovery. then if you can boot up update your prl and profile, also make a phone call to see if you got that error 16 thing. Also, did you by chance try to replace your bootanim? If you did, and something like wrong permissions were set, it would still be booting with a black screen, maybe try leaving it alone while it's booting for a bit?
I did the twrp recovery, but i still get the dim black screen. after the dim black screen it goes black for a few seconds, then goes to the HTC logo again. I didnt try to change anything either...

Above is your best solution. From there you can decide to either root again or wait a bit longer. But that should fix the issue and keep you from a boot loop of just the HTC screen.
Well thats where you are wrong. I am still in the boot loop after doing the stock HTC EVO 3d flash.
So the bootloader scanned and flashed the PG86IMG file and you are still showing just the HTC screen?
Did you follow the directions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1194053
Hi where exactly do the adb and fastboot files go when you start to run commands?
Well no i still get the boot loop. guess i have a bricked phone...

A brick is when the phone is completely unresponsive and won't boot or give you a charging led. If you can get to hboot you're not bricked. I would do a factory wipe from hboot menu (choose clear storage), and then either run an RUU with your phone in fastboot usb mode, or use a PG86IMG.zip
of an RUU to flash back to stock. That should hopefully fix the loops.

**** YES! I used the RUU.exe from sprint and now my phone works.

From past experiences like this, wipe, flash the bare stock rooted ROM in the development section. Do this in recovery mode. Before wiping you could try just flashing the bare Rom over. That usually worked for me.

Sweet, glad you got it booting. Now that you've ran the RUU, you'll probably need to run Revolutionary again and then flash TWRP recovery. You should be good to go then. I think your hboot will still be S-off after the RUU, but from reports of other people it acts like it's still S-on and won't let you flash anything, so running Revolutionary again is necessary.
Well i cant use revolutionary...
My device is not supported?
And now i cant make calls or text messages, i get error 16.
any help?

Call Sprint. . they can fix it. . .it's actually a common problem after the root. Try to make a call. . .you will get the error message. . .you should hang on the line for a few minutes and it will direct you to sprint. They will call you on another line. . that's not your phone, and have you power the phone off. . .they will wait a few minutes then tell you to turn it on and make a test call. . .they may have you go thru a few things, but I didn't. . .and it will work.

Help!
I feel like such a freakin noob. My EVO3D is not quite bricked but I think i broke my recovery img AND my ROM. All I can do is turn on Hboot. Tried the stock Sprint RUU to go back to stock and i keep getting an error message everytime it tries to update the ROM image. Have no idea what to do now without being able to go into recovery. Suggestions?
My phone is doing the exact same thing, cept running the ruu.exe didn't fix it. Anyone else have some more ideas?

Flash the original rom and go through the unlocking process, s-off your phone, flash recovery, copy rom to phone and flash, do a nand back up first, shouldn't be a problem, use a stable rom to flash first.
If your already s-off, might be the boot image, will need to flash it again if thats the case, copy to sd and fastboot, then run the flash boot image command, then flash rom.
My Phone is now stuck in the HTC logo . Didnt wipe the enitre cache since I got confused. Now not able to get into the bootloader. Please help
turn it off completely, let it charge up ALL the way, find your GSM RUU for the firmware you HAD, run the .exe file, start from scratch. I have a CDMA 3D and this is what I do if something goes horribly wrong and I can't get into anything like the bootloader. hope it helps man

This same thing happened to me a couple of nights ago. All you have to do is flash a rom to the phone that is stuck on that screen. Put the rom on your phone memory and not the sd card in order to fix this problem and flash the rom. Tell me if this doesn't work.
i have no rom i am stuck on boot loader and unrooted so flash the rooted rom?
i can not get any ruu to do any thing
and i can get my pc to see any drives at all from the phone no storage
Unlock and flash stock Rom. Why did you relock it?
sent from my EVO LTE
how can i unlock it threw adb because i dont know how on adb and htcdev unlock is what i used and it is not working
alittle better
ok i got out of boot loader . i had to re-root using htc dev get token the hard way the adb
and regain root. so now if i re-lock can i flash the ruu but i don't have to unroot?
last time i un rooted threw super user
still not working
Ok i have rom stock with goodies 1.5 . if i lock my bootloader it stays stuck in the bootloader screen i can go to hboot and fast boot. i want to go back to stock. I tried to do the ruu but it shows up as a white paper file. and window will not directed it. I really need help i have 10 hrs to take it back to sprint because my wifi has a problem
Can't run RUU
I really hope someone can help me... I am running CM10 but since yesterday after a couple hours of use, the radios barely get any signal if at all (there's a tower just down the street from me). Turns out now I can't flash a sense ROM nor can I run the RUU because whenever I relock the bootloader it goes into a reboot loop back into it.
Anyone have any ideas? After all this, I'd like to just go back to the stock ROM and wait for HTC/Sprint to officially release JB for my EVO LTE.
Thanks guys!
Did you figure this out?

I don't have a HTC phone but I am sure that if you download the PC suit of HTC and try to update or repair it your phone will be at the original i.e at Stock ROM.Hope it helps
Well if you relocked your device then the only thing would be to flash an RUU through bootloader
What I would suggest is to try to unlock your bootloader again if you can, flash a custom recovery, then flash ROM
And being it sounds as if you were using the HTC dev unlocked bootloader method you will probably need to flash the kernel through fastboot as well
If you get things up and running again seriously consider obtaining s-off, pretty sure this is possible on an HTC one but its been a while since I've looked through those threads

Hey guys, I seem to have ran into a few problems while trying to flash a custom rom on my evo 4g lte. Being that I was unable to flash two different roms i decided to go back to stock via the ruu.exe.To root, I unlocked bootloader with htcdev.com and proceeded to root with twrp. While trying to undo I then relocked the boot loader but when the ruu gets to around 93% it fails and gives me an error code. I currently dont have a rom to flash to nor have a recovery to flash anything. When at the bootloader screen i have ''Tampered'', ''Relocked'', and ''Security Warning''. Also I have S-On.
Any help or information is greatly appreciated. I need my phone back lol. I used to flash all the time with my old evo and never got stuck like this before.
Some more information might be useful. List your Hboot version and radio (baseband) version. Really, you should be able to unlock your bootloader again and push a recovery to your phone, at which time you should be able to flash a ROM.
If that doesn't work, hit the top link in my sig and go to the last post in the thread. Hit the link and follow the instructions on how to manually install from the bootloader.

You can flash any ROM with TWRP so long as it's for the EVO LTE. Having said that, since you're S-on you'll have to install the ROM kernel separately from the ROM itself. Read the guide in the top link in my sig for more info. There are a few ROM's that are easy to flash while S-on (MeanBean being one of them).

I never had to flash the kernel separately. Just did the normal wipe then flash and after it booted up it would go into a bootloop and I would reboot into bootloader then flash the rom again with it wiping

That only works with Sense roms that are equipped with the S-On Kernel installer. If you are coming from the OG Evo, you should know that flashing on this device is not the same at all. You certainly need to read before you act, otherwise you might brick your device. I've been stuck in recovery before from the same problem.
