I have Htc Titan AT&T .
I got a slight problem with mic, during call the other person can't hear my voice clearly in normal position of phone but when i put mic close to my mouth my voice gets clearly to other person.
But when i put phone on speaker and speak in distance to phone other person hears my voice clearly.
I think its some kind of frequency problem. if anybody knows any solution please help me.

I have same problem sometimes on my Titan, apparently it's the noise cancelling mike on the upper top left of the phone- try holding your finger over the hole of the mike when making a call, and if your voice is clearer on the other end, put some tape over it. Sounds crude, and it is, but if it cures the problem...... ..

Another problem related to voice calls has been noticed when calling someone.
Basically it's like you have to almost eat it in order for the other person to hear you !!
Voice calls were unclear and muffled.
Returned back..

No, I never had such issues.
Voice calls working fine on my phone.
The mic may be crooked inside the housing, it's surrounded by soft rubber, easily misaligned. When I first put my GS2 back together after replacing the USB flex cable I noticed a muffled sound, I opened the phone back up and made sure the mic sat proper when I put i back together the second time. This solved the problem for me.

I just received my brand new SGS2 (White) and I noticed a problem with the in call sound. I tried calling my phone with different phones so it's not one phone that's acting up but my phone that has a bad speaker.
The problem I'm experiencing is a scratching sound when someone is talking with a high or low pitched voice. It sounds like a busted speaker.
I'm writing because I'd like to know if the speaker is really so bad on this phone or if it's something wrong with it. My wife can't hear a thing but I's really bothering me.
Note: I'm not talking about external speaker. I'm talking about the headset or whatever you call it. The one that you use in a normal call. I forgot to mention that the scratching sound goes away only if I set my volume below 40%.

it has a serious problem.
in any call the guy on the other end hears a static noise, like a helicopter noise and it comes and goes.
this does NOT happen if i use a headphone with a mic(a cheap nokia one) when making the call.
tried Wifi,gprs,bluetooth off and on.
2g network.
tried stock 2.2 (nandroid) and cm10 by Mr.winsuk.
I live in a place with no htc care or anything.no warrenty etc.
audio recording is kinda faint,i have to speak loudly but the in call noise is NOT present but a faint windy noise is there.
I know this isnt a repair forum and i have searched a lot.
what could be the problem? and possibly how to fix it?

Microphone goes silent during call (hardware problem)
Hi guys, I had this problem for a long time, i want to make the story very short. My microphone becomes silent after 1 minute of use. I used the stock voice recorder to check it without the need to call someone. People get annoyed because they can't speak to me. Sometimes the microphone is silent from the very beginning of a conversation. I hear them well but they can't hear me. Once i've changed the mic flex cable/usb port plate and it looked like it worked fine for about a month. Then the problem came back. Could it be the motherboard? Did anyone experience something similar? I had to repair my camera right after buying it second hand. The technician told me the phone was in touch with water after he replaced the back camera.
bump. Just to add, weirdly my speakerphone doesn't work during calls, i don't hear people when its on, and my GPS is useless, it never finds any location. Could it be the motherboard? Pls i need your help.

I recently purchased redmi note 4 one week before. Phone looks great.. But, the problem is while talking on headsets, the person on the receiving end is NOT able to hear me. Not sure if this is because of the speaker position which is towards the bottom of the phone. Everytime, i need to grab the phone in one hand and talk near the speaker and then only the other person is able to hear properly.. This really sucks big time as we can't hold on to the phone if we are in conference calls which goes for longer time.. Anyone faced similar issue?? Anyway through which this can be avoided?? Please help..
