Hey all
Just flashed to 4.1.2 and have found my internal SDCard is listed as read-only. As it's internal, I can't remove it and reformat in a PC. How do I go about making it writable? Any advice would be great.
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S2 - i9100
Coming from CarbonROM (4.2) to Official Samsung JB (4.1.2)
Thanks!!!!

Hi all, I recently brought a used samsung galaxy s2 (i9100) but the guy who had it before me has rooted the phone (clockwork recovery one) and he has installed ICS. Everything seems to work fine but the problem is when i go to the SETTINGS>STORAGE page i have 1.97gb internal storage and 4.11gb usb storage. so i have like 8 gig of the internal memory missing! how do i fix this? If i have to reflash the phone could you please also give me the links to download the files and a good walkthrough. I live in the UK so if possible could i have an unbranded uk copy of ICS. Thanks :fingers-crossed:

Flashing a stock firmware 4.0.4 rom with the pit file.
I downloaded the Odin in the Dev forum and it had the pit included.
If it does not work read here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1811238
Hi All,
I flashed my Samsung Galaxy GT-I9100 via odin, with Jelly bean 4.1.2 I9100XXLSJ_I9100OXXLS1_OXX and then rooted with PhilZ-cwm6 XXLSJ-OXX-3.73-signed.zip
booted up device (i was so happy).
The initial USB storage size was 11.5 GB
I had a problem with corrupted clockworkmod files in my USB storage, so I decided to format it.
Now, after I formatted USB, the size is 4.11 GB :crying:.
There is a relevant post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1757093 but I have the following questions.
Can I use the pit described in that post?
Do I have every thing from the begin? (JB, 4.1.2, Root etc.)
Is there any solution to fix the problem without doing everything again?
Hello There
I have flashed CM10.1 on my Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 32 GB. Before i did that I made a ClockworkMod Backup. After the flashing was successful i deleted the backup file. But now I have only 436 MB free space. In the storage view of Android the grey "Freebar" is much bigger than 436 MB. If I use DiskUsage the it says there is over 20 GB of "System Data" ? Could it be that this storage has no Filesystem ? Did anyone had something like that ? I already wiped the entire device and reinstalled CM 10.1... Thanks for any advice.
Edit: I forget that my S3 was Android 4.1.2 and Cm10.1 is 4.2 All my Apps i've installed on Stock were still in /data/media and all new Apps are in /data/media/0. Deleted everything besides the 0 Folder. Problem Solved.
A friend of mine has a Galaxy SII (i9100) which had become sluggish and glitchy. I helped him install the latest stable release of CyanogenMod 11 for his device, gapps and everything, and the phone works perfectly now. However, it cannot access the SD card. It does show up in the file explorer and in the Settings app, but apps like Camera and others which rely on external storage cannot access it. Searching on the forums yielded no answers. I hope somebody here can help with this.
