Download it again, copy to external sd and install.
If you don't have SD card, (buy one!) use Odin instead. Download Stock Rom, put phone in Download Mode and flash it.
Later on you can root it again and go back to Custom Rom.

there is no problem in doing that.??

I always flash from external sd as sometimes internal sd gets formated after F.Reset....

[Q] Rooted Motorola Triumph Recovery help!?!?

I rooted my Motorola Triumph and did a LOT of customization to it and ended up needing to go ahead and put the stock ROM back on it. Somehow in doing this, my phone isn't working and I'm not sure what to do at this point. I got almost to where I was going to recover and restart, but I got this code:
Checking MD5 sums...
MD5 mismatch!
I downloaded Eclipse and got everything I need (I think..) including SDK and ADB stuff
I tried mounting my phone to my computer via the CWM boot menu, but that isn't working and I'm just not sure where to go from here...
HELP PLEASE!?
1. Place the rom on your SD card via the card reader on your PC
2. Re-insert it in the device
3. Boot into recovery
4. Do a full wipe of data and cache
5. Flash.
Is there another option if I don't have a card reader?

You have to be able to place the rom on your SD card. You could place the SD card in another device to transfer it from your PC then re-insert it in your phone (just use any way you possible to place the rom on the SD card).

[Q] Goophone Y5 internal memory on RECOVERY MODE

Hi, how can I access the internal memory so that I can copy the ROM, my y5 is stuck on the boot logo now.. the recovery mode cant detect the sd card. is there anyway around to access this internal memory so that I can copy the ROM. Thanks
I dont know but anyway if youre in recovery u need the external sd card to install a rom
What happens if u put ur sd in
Have u tried different sd cards
I had the ROM copied to my sd card, my problem is whenever i goto recovery mode all I see is the internal SD card..
aaaah ok =)
u have internal system storage + internal flash drive like the sgs+ has
okeeeey and now u want to put the rom on ur internal sd storage or u want ur phone to detect the external sd card
so put in your sd card boot into recovery chose install update or zip or whatever from sd
now youre on your internal sd storage u can scroll down and in the list there has to be a folder called external sd that should be your external sd and there you should find your update
i have never tried this befoure
so let me know if it worked
i wish to have both, but what i need now is to have my rom copied to the internal storage.. when I choose Update from sdcard.. all I see is the internal SD card.. no folders or anything.. I have attached some pictures here.. I really need some help... is there anyway or program where I can access the internal storage using my computer? Im stil stuck on the apple logo/. Thanks
ok ok my fault i understood u in a wrong way...
you mean u want to put it on the internal phone storage not on the internal sd storage..okey...
hmmm i dont think soo might be but i dont know...
isnt there any option in the recovery mode to format or mount the internal sd storage because on it you should find the folder for the external sd storage and on this u could put a rom or something to install
if this doesnt works try to flash a rom via odin
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1706918
thanks for all the info.. some few question. what if my rom is in zip file? im readint the thread about odin.. its in tar file..
ZIP files are for the recovery mode likes roms
the .tar.md5 is needed to be used with odin
If youre searching a stock rom check out it is tar
therefore im out of luck? I only got the .zip file or ROM.. i dont have a tar file for my goophone
Hi, I can't find "Reboot Into Recovery option" in Setting --> General --> About.
How to boot into recovery ? Which combination to press ?
Btw, I am using GooPhone Y5 16GB:
Build number: V02 20120528-233012
Build ( iOS ): 5.1 (9B179)
Baseband: 2.0.10
Kernel version: 3.0.13. Android 4.0.3 with iOS home launcher.
Please help !
press volume down + power button and hold until you get into recovery... use the volume button to navigate and press the power button to enter or select.. hope that helps
Friends, i need your help !
My Goophone Y5 does not make calls.
When I try to make a call, the appliance crashes and just unplugging the battery it turns on again.
Already swapped some sim cards without success.
I need original ROM to attempt a recovery.
Could someone provide the link for the ROM it here?
Help me, please!

Stuck on the Samsung text!

Hi SGP users!
Last night, I installed the Jellybean CM10 ROM (the Nightly one). I also installed the GApps that came with the post. So I booted to Recovery Mode, I tried installing the ROM (Install zip from sd card>Install zip from internal sd card>downloads>the jb rom), but it says "INSTALLATION ABORTED". I repeated to install but to no avail. I rebooted the system to research on this, and the user said that you have to format system and try again. I booted to Recovery Mode again, formatted the system (it says system formatted or something like that), and installed the ROM for the nth time. It still says INSTALLATION ABORTED. Now, I tried installing the GApps zip file, and it worked (I installed the zip file because I want to know if all the files on the internal sd card are broken). So I tried installing the ROM again. Aborted. I rebooted the system, and now it's stuck with the white Samsung text! I don't know why, so I just drained the battery with the Samsung text still ongoing.
Today, I'm pretty sure the battery is drained (there's no text anymore), so I tried charging it. Nada, it's stuck with the loading logo on the battery image.
I think my device is bricked, I don't know. I researched it and all I found was the BootLoop. Is that the error on my SGP? I want to know if my device is bricked, and what caused this. Help?
Its not a brick..reboot to recovery (home + volume up + power ) and install some ics rom for player ..boot to that rom and then go again to recovery and install jb rom. That is offcourse if you have 5.0

Thanks, and one more question: Is it okay if I download the ROM zip from my computer and just transfer it to my player with Download Mode? Because I can't open my player, just to Download and Recovery mode.

transfer the zip files to your SD card; use those files to flash. Also, now, can you get into recovery/download mode? Like after having removed the player from the USB?
just curious- did you originally download the ROM/app package to your device (ie /mnt/sdcard/????) and flash, or did you place the files in the SD card (ie /mnt/sdcard/external_sd [or something like that]) before flashing?
===
Edit: Ok, so literacy kicked in and I carefully read your OP. My guess, and I could be wrong, though I doubt it, is that the installation aborted because you flashed the packages from your internal SD and NOT your external SD (ie the actual SD card). Since the ROM rearranges directory tree (or whatever), it would stand to reason that the installation aborted during the installation process since it could no longer locate the zip. Ie it is no longer /mnt/sdcard/downloads (or wherever), but rather /storage/sdcard0/downloads. I'm guessing that CWM bypasses this and accesses your SD card directly, rendering installation from your actual SD card immune to these effects.
So, try again (assuming your device can still go into CWM recovery) and flash the packages in the proscribed order, but this time, from the ACTUAL SD card, and NOT internal. I "upgraded" directly from a GB rom, having flashed the zip files from the external SD card, and suffered no problems, so I know it isn't necessary to go through ICS. Good luck!
This is a helpful one! I'm sorry, but one last question, (I'm a newbie sorry!) how do you move the zip files to the external SD Card? And if I do that, and it flashed successfully, do I have to start again if I remove my SD card? Really sorry for the questions, but I really want to know.
Thank you so much! Since my computer didn't recognize my SGP (suckish USB cable lol), I placed my external SD card on my cellphone and plugged the cellphone into the computer to download the zip files (I downloaded them directly to the card). Afterwards I placed my SD in my SGP and flashed--It's working, thank you!!!

All you need to do is use a file manager to move zip to sdcard1. Make sure you follow the steps in op of rom.

Thanks for the tip! I switched to JB ParanoidAndroid already because the Gapps on CM10 Nightly don't appear. Thank you anyway!

Wiped all system data, now stuck on cwm custom recovery mode

I am a complete newbie to rooting. I followed the kingoroot guidelines and rooted my Idea Aurus 3 phone. Root was success. The next step I did was downloading custom recovery and cyanogenmod ROM from here to my memory card
I flashed the custom recovery with flashify. The next step I did was wiping all data from the device by entering in to recovery mode (including cache and everything)
I was hoping I could simply install zip from sd card. But when i click on this option, I cannot find my sd card nor zip file (I checked most folders including emmc, etc, sd-ext and couldn't find SD card. The custom recovery name is Phylz touch 6
Now basically I have a phone without OS and all I can do is accessing custom recovery. I don't have a back up too
I can also see an error log "Cannot mount custom path"
I formatted the memory card to exFAT from FAT 32 hoping that would work, it didn't help as well.
Also tried to connect phone to pc using USB (thinking I can move rom to system memory), but wouldn't detect phone memory
Now, is there any way to get this fixed? Any help would be awesome
Thanks!!!
Mount USB option is how you see phone from computer if I remember correctly I haven't used cwm in awhile I always use twrp

download ur rom again.
put it on another sd card and flash the rom from sd.
or there's always a way to flash stock
If u were on philz 6, u cud just hit 'clean
to install a new rom ' and flash ur rom without wiping extra anything.

Mount USB option is not there in the Mount section
Do you mean external sd card or internal SD card if you have a external sd card pop it out of your phone and use an SD card adapter on a pc and place the ROM and appropriate gapps on it

I mean external sd card. The ROM is in external sd card, but i cannot see it in recovery mode.
Also, I just tried to sideload rom by using sdk tools.
The result i got was:
C:\Program Files (x86)\platform-tools>adb sideload cm-12-20150320-OFICIAL-5020.z
ip
loading: 'cm-12-20150320-OFICIAL-5020.zip'

Remove sd card and reinsert it while in cwm and in twrp you mount partitions do the equivalent for cwm for your SD card and make sure your SD card is not corrupted

Resolved!! Yay!!
Finally, all fixed.
Let me explain what I did:
I was not able to see zip or sd card in recovery mode. So I pushed the zip file to data/media/0 and installed zip by browsing to that path.
I was not able to flash Cynogenmod, because during the process the reboot was in to my old logo, So I assume it was failure. Then I downloaded a stock rom of my phone model and pushed it to the same location and installed it.
Now, is working fine so far.
Thanks everyone!

I have to remove battery to insert card, so I cannot do that while in recovery mode. However I was able to push the zip to system memory with adb (sdk tools). Cynogen mod didnt work for me, so I used a stock one again
I will still search for a new version as this one is JB 4.1
Well glad you got it fixed
