i havent ever heard about ram issues, got no problem with it
about photo bug its kinda true because when your screen is locked you can open camera just by pressing vol down which is on the backside of phone (so its easier to press it accidently)
i think the solve for this problem is to just unbind the shortcut from vol button with xposed or smth

It's a G2 MINI forum, the little brother of G2 [emoji6]
I have a refurb Lg G Flex 2 , which I love! Lg sent it to me as part of BBB settlement. NOT warranteed as I sent them a broken one and they refused to warranty it, so who knows what they did with MY phone, but they sent me another one, stating it was mine... But none of that matters. Camera works for a couple shots, then camera not found or cannot connect to camera . Often front facing option is gone as well. Same with Snap chat or any other camera i install. Have taken out SD card, works for a few minutes,
cleared cache, same thing,
forced stop- same,
restarted,
hard reset,
Everything I have found online I have done.
Except dropping it which I think is a bit stupid! I have removed back , opened and taken it apart- all looks secure and ok.
As it does come on and work fine for a while after each "fix" I would like to assume the it is software related, not hardware. I found in only one place someone mention the latest update caused this issue, but have found NOTHING more on it.
android version 5.1.1 software version H95012d.
I do have a new Moto g 4 plus i can use, but I love my flex! Really hoping someone can help me! Thanks
The issue with that device is well known. They put the cpu too close to the camera modual and it over heats the camera making it not be detected.
So
There isn't anything I can do is what you are saying?

Yeah pretty much. It has been an on going issue with LG devices for a few versions.
Hi there,
I was wondering if I should send my G5 to lg for a second warrany issue with the gps. Every phone I had and every GPS I used had an accuracy <10m and with the G5, even though it was already repaired, I can't get below 17m ever.
I'd like to know whether you have similiar issues. Even my note 2 locks in faster and more accurate. If you might have different results I'll use this feedback to send it back.
Cheers
I didn't know the G5 has a GPS
Kidding.. I got tired of opening it for few more days of GPS. Learned to live without it. Maybe I'll just but the 36$ replacement back and be done with it (hopefully).
My lg g5 main camera is not focusing. It was fine before vut now it is not focusing even in manual mode, it is not focusing i can get a subject in focus but only for 1 sec. Is so.ething wrong with the hardware?
I am glad that I decided to come around here today and found your post. I do not take a LOT of pictures but do use my camera most days. I started noticing a couple days ago the same thing you are mentioning here. The camera starts to auto-focus, focuses on the subject for a split second, and then starts auto-focusing again but never on the correct subject. I am glad to hear that it is not a isolated incident on my phone only. My phone has not had any physical damage so I guess the next step is to check into software issues. Hopefully we can find a quick/easy fix to this as it is terribly annoying to say the least.

Those questions have already been answered so many times in different threads here that there really is NO need for yet another one.
Please do some searching, you'll find the answers you seek.

There are several issues with the g5. Including screen retention. Gps issues. And some bottom module issues but a good phone.
Please use our wonderful search functions and you should be able to find most of them....
Wifi Issues
Yeah, I bought mine in October and have had problems with Wifi dropping out several times per hour and none of the suggestions listed around the web have fixed it. It turns out this is a known issue with the phone. Not turning off Wifi Scanning under Location, not disabling mobile network switching, not whiping cache partition. I haven't done a FDR yet. Also, if you get the Sprint version and upgrade from 6.0 to 7.0 it will lock the previously unlocked handset to Sprint only. I hope this was helpful. Good luck:good:
