:cyclops: OK...here's my issue, I've searched Hi and low for an answer and have found no definitives... I am on an I717 running JamieD's Slimbean 4.3 Unofficial- 3.0.72-cyanogenmod-gc165e1c kernel on AT&T And I just got a MHL HDMI adapter to use at home...and cannot get it to work AT ALL. I have tried using MOBOPLAYER, and MX Player to no avail, as well as the stock video player. Is there anything out there that will allow me to get HDMI out of my phone on this ROM? I'd love to stay on it as it's been really dependable and no bloat. If not...can anyone suggest a stable DD Rom that will support it??? Thanks in advance!
It probably isn't supported by the rom. You might want to ask the dev if it is.

I recently switched over to the latest MIUI Gingerbread release, but much to my dismay, found out it has no TV output option after flashing. Is there an option to enable the TV output on my Vibrant again without losing the Gingerbread goodness? :sadpanda:

Nope, they haven't gotten that working yet, and I doubt they will anytime soon.

Flash another GB rom.
Guys i have had no issues with video recording on my galaxy s2, my att note, or even my captivate, but today when i was trying to record a short video of my daughter dancing around the house the video was getting very choppy. Is this a known issue and if so is there a fix for it. I've read through the forums for a bit but didn't see anything pertaining to my issue directly. Sorry if there is a thread on this issue already.
OK your sig says you have a note on at&t so I need to ask if your galaxy SIII is the north American model or the international model.
Edit: nvm I just saw that you edited it and it is in fact the international model.
I never experienced choppy video recording personally, do you have custom rom/kernel?

Sorry i just updated my signature. International Gti 9300
Oh and i'm running the criskelo rom with siyah kernel oc'd to 1600mhz.
Have you tried a different rom?
I used wanamlite with siyah and with Franco and never had any problems with video.
Using CM9 now with siyah and no problems here either.
I'm oc'd to 1600mhz also.

I dont think i ever tried using the video camera when i was stock, stock rooted, or even stock rooted just running the siyah kernel. Never noticed this. Only reason i put a rom on it is because i cant leave well enough alone. Modding. Is definitely addictive for sure.
Hmmm. I'll look into those. I really didn't plan on getting to big into romming this one because the stock ics with siyah was pretty nice. But now since i've started i guess i cant look back now. Lolol
Btw: i was trying to download the ics4.04 zip for my note while i was recording. Trying to sell it and i'll get more money for it with the update. Do you think that could have caused this? Just wondering.
That's why we're called crackflashers!
Give another rom a go and see how it works out for you, if it doesn't work then we'll go from there.

What ROM(s) support MHL? I'm using Team Objection UCLF5 and it works really well but when I plug in my MHL it doesn't work and also blows away all my homescreens widgets. I'd like to find a ROM with working MHL functionality.
Might only be one stock roms for now. Or a rom close to stock like black star or onlyone

I thought Objection was a stock-based ROM, only cleaned up a little?
Its prob based off of a leak. The leak prob doesent have support as their un finished products...so i think its only on stock or stock based roms not a rom built from a stock leak base.hope that helps, maybe someone else will confirm this.

Just make a good backup then flash and test any rom you want. When the rom is done settling in ~ 5 minutes, just sign in to google, then test your MHL connection. Don't forget to connect the adaptor to usb power when you use it.
FYI - CM9 does indeed support MHL-HDMI out.
I've used it with cm9 cm10 and stock

I have an older ICS ROM flashed onto my GP5 that has been there for months and months (a very early port, I think the zip is 3-31.zip or something). There's been some recent developments like getting Bluetooth enabled which my ROM is lacking. Which one do you guys recommend and can you provide links?
They're all still pretty hacked together and all of them have major problems in some way or another. None have HW acceleration working to my knowledge, cameras still don't work, some are still having wifi issues. I believe the bluetooth is the only thing that's been fixed so far.
Ahh, okay, thanks. Yeah, my biggest issue is Wi-Fi being a little buggy. I use my GP5 as my primary cellphone these days and sometimes it will be offline and I won't know it. Oh well.
Edit: Mind telling me how you got 1.5GHz?

i use paranoid and did not have any problems with wifi..and rom is super customisable..onlu there is not voice search(never use it anyway)..for 1.5 ghz you need paid version of tegrac overclock

i prefer ParanoidAndroid also because it the pretty stable and one of the faster ICS roms for the YP-G70. Very smooth and not many bugs.
However, it does take a few tries to get Gapps on there.
you can get the rom here:

I'm in the same boat, ran some ICS rom's a ways back with no prevail. Been running GB chip rom now without any major issue asside from it being GB! My biggest issue with the ICS roms is all my music on my external SD would not read or would only read some music and give wrong tag info. After all, my 5.0 at heart is an mp3 player. Thoughts.......

i use power amp and have 5 gb of music and 5 gb of music videos and they all work normal..probably you did not set media directory in app.

Nope, verified/changed music path. Swapped storage locations with mod tools. The best I could get was a full read of each file, but wrong song info displayed. When I switched back to gb based rom, music read as it should. I use playerpro, and the issue was there and in the stock player.

Hi all.
Just wondering if any of you have noticed the same problem.
I've bought the infuse carkit for my sgs3. Using it all day to charge and using Spotify for dock audio out.
All working perfectly with the ics Roms, but since the custom jellybeans I've having trouble with the kit.
I've tried the omega Roms and the dock won't charge or send the audio out..
The only Rom working are the cm10 it charges but won't send audio out.
I make this thread to share working Roms with all fellow infuse carkit owners
Hoping for custom stock jellybeans with infuse support.
Thnx for your time

Yeah the dock is not working unfortunately... Received replacement today and nothing happens.
I'm on stock jb 4.1.1
Hope there's a fix on it way, may have to go to ics
Maybe some developer could fix this problem

I think using the Siyah kernel helps. At least it lets my dock charge again. I went onto Sammy JB and then CM 10, and once I flashed the Siyah kernel my dock would charge again. Never used the audio out though.
Thnx will try that kernel
