Wi-fi Tether for Sim Unlocked Device - AT&T HTC One (M7)

I bought an AT&T HTC One and got it unlocked to use it in my country (Mexico) my carrier is Telcel, i can't get the mobile hostpot to work and i already rooted the device, anybody know what i have to do to get it working? i already tried deleting the At&t hospot api and odex, but that didn't work, also i'm using the app Wireless tethering but only my mac recognizes it, any help would be appreciated

Try an app like Wifi Tether for Root Users.

[Q] Unlock Hotspot

My coworker has the Galaxy S II and he's flashed his phone he was able unlock the hotspot that already came with his phone. I was wondering if anyone has been able to do the same for the MoPho and if so could anyone possibly give me the link for this software.
You have to root.

Well I do have root.I need a wifi tether that isn't running in ad-hoc mode but infrastructure and the only one I know to do that would be the phone's own hotspot already installed but need to be unlocked
That's weird cause for some reason the phone's own hotspot won't work for me at times, but the app does. Sorry I can't help then.

Thats because the hot spot on the phone is ties in with sprint, you want wifi tether, just google it, and a custom kernel

T-Mobile wifi calling on GNote?

I know there are ways to install wifi calling on T-Mobile phones as an apk. Would that work on the galaxy note for at&t?

once tmo releases theirs maybe. the wifi calling requires some custom kernel work. Although u could just get groove ip and end it with that

Free wireless tether for t-mobile gs3????

Anyone figure out how? It has the t-mobile hotspot preinstalled which costs extra but is there a way to do it free. I've tried some apps like barnacle and foxfi but they don't work. I suspect t-mobile has blocked it somehow. Anyone have a work around or any ideas? Thanks. Oh and I am rooted.

Use Odin to install a debranded Rom.
I don't see why FoxFi would not work. Other users have reported it working. Are you sure?
stock Rom then use the normal hotspot

This might work for you, I haven't personally tried it but I know what you're after, I use PDAnet to USB tether but if I try to do wireless tethering I get sent to a webpage that blocks me :crying:
