OTA not installing on a rooted P760 10g - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Hello everyone
I've tried searching for an answer to my question on this thread, but I can't seem to find one. I have a roooted LG Optimus L9 (P760) on T-Mobile using ICS. Here is the software information:
Android Version: 4.0.4
Build Number: IMM76L
Software Version: P76910g
I recently received the OTA update to Jelly Bean. I read elsewhere that I could install it and then, using Voodoo Keeper, revert back to my previous root with JB. The OTA update downloads fine. When I go to click install and reboot, the phone begins to reboot. Unfortunately, it immediately shows a 'dead' Android bot with its chest opened up and an X on top. After a few minutes, the phone will automatically reboot to the rooted ICS profile.
What am I missing in this process? Must I perform an additional step or deactivate an app? I have SuperUser, Titanium Backup and Voodoo Keeper installed.
Thanks everyone for your support!

Root my LG Optimus S LS670?

I have a To Root my LG Optimus S LS670, its a plain one.
Here's my information:
Model Number: LS670
Android Version: 2.3.3
Baseband Version: LS670MVJ_6150
How do I root it?
It's been upgraded by LG already to 2.3.3, and I can't find anyway to root it.
SuperOneClick, GingerBreak or this.
Luck!!
I have this phone and gingerbreak worked then the next week the phone updated and i cannot get it to root now.
hheeeelllppppppp!!
Yea I can't get this phone to root when it's been updated to the LS670MVJ baseband every root method I can find is for the older baseband versions

This thread should help, I had to downgrade to ZVH using stock recovery, then use the optiauto CLI tool to root and install Xionia CWMA recovery. Root, radio and gingerbread works, but radio flashed with a Froyo downgrade is not legacy compatible with ZVJ. It's worth noting that while CM7.2 or 9 can be flashed from Xionia, you shouldn't do this before having all necessary files/drivers from the froyo, gingerbread and cm9 images, and CM9 flashed LS670s cannot be activated on Sprint.

I cannot go into too much detail since I spent hours on it and forgot and renamed a lot of stuff.

Hey, so I just got an LS670 (LG Optimus S) from a friend to replace my current phone. Not sure how it will go since I have an old SERO account.
Anyways, I had some time off and would recommend to you update flashing your baseband to ZVH. Turn on usb debugging from the applications/development from settings and use stay awake option.Use Sons Of Korhal 1.0.1 to root it. Update to ZVJ using its appropriate update.zip. Then use OptiAuto (aka OptiAuto-sfx) if its the new enough version will allow you to root the zvj baseband. Some of these files are hard to find, took me 3 hours total in trial and error.
This page helped a lot: forums.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-s-rooting-roms-hacks/119130-how-manual-rooting-ls670zvh-zvj-links-root-zvd-zv9.html
and this one: forums.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-s-rooting-roms-hacks/131297-how-rooting-ls670zvd-zvh-100-automated-zvj-automated.html
optiauto for windows might be this one, you'll need it: mediafire.com/download/dsblck8764079q0/optiauto-sfx.exe

[Q] ATT FOTA last night? Anybody else try and succeed?

>>I'm just curious if anybody else has received notification of a new update from AT&T recently, and if so, what was it?
I've had my E970 for about a month now. When I first received the LGOG, I did receive a FOTA notification and did the update. Then
I rooted, unlocked BL and installed TheBase.
Last night, I received another notification regarding an OTA software update being ready to install. Since I was actually ok with the stock LG ROM, I made a backup and then went ahead and let the update install.
Most of you won't be surprised to hear that the device rebooted into recovery, I received an error message, and the update failed.
Luckily, I didn't brick anything. I like all the information we get before allowing an app to install, and I can't believe there is no info given about what an update to our OS might contain. A version number [4.0.4 or 4.1.2?] and a short description saying bugfix / security fix / new features would go a long way here.
Personally, I kinda like the LG touches to Android and am looking forward to the official JB update.
I plan on sticking with stock-based ROMS on this device until it's no longer supported and then going back to CM.
I'm running Android 4.0.4
Baseband: APQ8064 / MDM9x15M
Kernel: 3.0.21
The Base 0.6.5
E97010l
I just checked for an update and...
now it says it is up to date?
I wish I had more information, and I DID search the forums and elsewhere to try and answer this myself first.
Now I'm thinking that AT&T is just trying to update me to their latest software and away from a custom ROM.
Incidentally, the OG is the first Android that I've actually done a FOTA on. I received the Atrix 4G and the X10a long after their release, and went immediately to custom ROMs.
It's just updates to E97010c. Nothing worth updating for.

[Q] Xperia w/rooted 4.1.1 asking for update

I just received a new Xperia Tablet SGPT12. It had 4.1.1 preinstalled so I went ahead and rooted it with motochopper and rescue backdoor. Now its saying a system update is available to 4.1.1?
I've looked all over but can only find one version of 4.1.1 for this tablet. Just curious if anyone knows what the update is that it wants to apply?
Thanks/TDT

You are receiving a false notice. You need to turn off the tablet's update notification. To do that, use Condi's S.onyTablet.S [ALLinONE] Tool. Start AiO and from its main menu select 4 * Tweaks and Mods [SUBMENU], then from the next menu select 3 Toggle OTA system updates and notifications [enable/disable].

[Q] Not receiving 4.1.2 update notification

My Optimus tells me that my Android 4.0.4 software is up to date, which I know is not the case. I've spoken to LG and AT&T and neither of them have been able to help me. I've tried having them push the update or find different methods to install it but they are no help at all. I'm looking for another method to install Jelly Bean without having to root/unlock the bootloader on the phone. I know that it's easy to do but I just don't trust myself to do it correctly.
Is there a way to install the OS via USB or a way to force the update?
I think your only other option is to use LGNPST and get the 4.1.2 stock TOT file.

Update to kitkat

Hello, I have verizon note 2, it has stock 4.1.2 android installed. I want to update it to kitkat, what can you suggest how can I update it ?
That depends on 1 thing.... Do you want to ever root it. If so I suggest doing so. If not it's a simple process of hitting menu and navigating to about phone & clicking the check for updates box
i605 running LiquidSmooth
