Hi Guys,
My phone is acting weird from a couple of months.
1. The lock screen doesnt work ie., if I push the power button the screen goes off but when i press the home button or the power button i dont see the lock screen and it directly goes to the home screen.
2. The power button if held for 2 secs the phone switches off without out even giving options like power off or restart or airplane mode.
3. If i click on a notification from the notification window the lock screen appears and i need to enter the passcode to see the notification. Means the lock screen appears whenever i select to read a message or mail from the notification window.
I havent rooted the phone and its running on the stock OS Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2
Model: Samsung GT N7000 - Galaxy Note
Android Version: 4.1.2
Kernel Version: 3.0.31-906407
Please help me get back my phone to the normal condition.

Occasionally when I go to unlock my phone with the home button, the torch turns on instead and the screen remains unresponsive. The torch stays on for as long as I hold the button down for, and after a period of responding like this for 10 or so seconds the home button does what it should do again. Using the side lock button gets it out of this most of the time. Any have any ideas why this might be happening ?

Hey guys, I am having some strange problem on my Android 4.1.1 device (chinese phone with mtk6577 processor).. few weeks ago Phone just started to act like I am constantlly pressing Home Button.. hehe
When I am in application it sends me to home screen (but the app does not crash), when I press power button to send the phone in sleep state, it goes to sleep, but after few seconds screen light turns on again (just like I pressed the home button), and that keeps hapening constantlly..
Is there any way to completelly disable home button? Or any other solution?

The model of my phone is SGH-T999. It is not rooted (I'm going to root it soon though), its running Android 4.3 and I do admit I've dropped it a few times but it has a cover. It shuts off at the most random moment and restarts itself, and sometimes it won't go past the Galaxy SIII logo before restarting itself once more. Theres a possibility the lock button has something to do because when it stays in that startup loop I play around with the lock button till it finally finishes the startup succesfully, but I don't know how the lock button can make it shut down on its own while its turned on without me touching the "power off" option in the window that comes up.

Its the broken power button, long pressing the power button reboots the phone without any dialog.

I have a couple of problems with my newly instaled NeatRom
1. Notifications and other things dont show at the Notification bar at top .... The drawer is blank.
2. Screen can be turned off but wont lock. I mean that when I press power button and turn the screen off it doesnt lock
3. After instaling the rom Home button stopped working. I can turn the screen on but other functions like dropping all applications to home doesnt work for me.

I own a Samsung Tab S2 (SM-T810) and I am running stock firmware (Android 7.0), rooted and TWRP as a custom recovery.
Yesterday i was using my tablet when the screen suddenly turn off, i tried to turn on the screen as i usually do, with my power button but it doesn't work, i connect the charger and the screen wont turn on (like usually do).
So i go to TWRP and i realize that every button was working in there, if the screen turn off i can wake up with power or home button like i normally do on the stock OS
The problem begins when the system (Android 7) initialize, the navigation bar + home button wont work from the beginning , the power button works only for turning off the screen but not to turn it on, the volume buttons work until the screen turns off
Once the screen is off there is no way to turn it on, neither power button, connecting it to the power, or notification, the only way is restarting the device by long pressing the power + volume down
I already do:
wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik from TWRP
Reflash my stock firmware with Odin
This is my first time posting a question on this site, if you need more information please let me know.

I just remove the Samsung cover from my tablet and it fixed the problem!
