[Q] during call--blank screen - AT&T HTC One (M7)

How do I reactivate the screen during a call when it goes black without 'accidently' dropping the call pushing the power button..duh?

I'm guessing you have "power button ends call" active in Accessibility options.. untick this.

If that box isn't checked then the power button should wake the screen if using speakerphone.. if you're not using speakerphone, then as soon as you pull the phone from your face the phone should wake since the prox sensor would be activated

[Q] app to lock proximity sensor?

I really want an app to lock proximity sensor on (so screen off during a call) until home button pressed, or something like that. Lately I have been having a lot of calls disconnected or accidentally placed on hold, and I think an app like this would be fantastic.
Anyone know of any?
You dont need an app this is easy to do, while in a call just press home so your on the "desktop" then just press the lock button. The screen now wont turn on regardless of the sensor

cool thanks for the info.. I still think an app that did it automatically would be awesome though!
Anyone found this application? It would be very useful..

Returning to keypad during a call after accessing menus?

Hi guys
Looked for an answer to this and couldn't find one - if you are on the phone and you navigate away to your normal screen by pressing the menu button, the top of the screen goes green (presumably to let you know you are still on the phone).
Is there a simple way to return to the phone screen? At the moment I am choosing phone icon -> return to call but i am wondering whether there is a simple swipe or something to return?
regards
Rob
Scroll down notification tray and click the call button. Is that simple enough for you?

Lock the volume and home button with screen off

So with the phone in my pocket and pulling it out I often hit the home or volume keys with the screen off. Is it possible to lock these buttons and make only the power button light up the screen to unlock?
Thanks!
bump i would like this
Theres already a thread on this. The volume buttons dont do anything anyways when the screen is off.

Thanks. The volume buttons will adjust the volume on anything playing with the screen off. Really annoying when I use my phone in the gym and every time I touch the phone I adjust the volume.

Proximity Sensory Not Working During Phone Calls

Stock Verizon Note 2 on latest update. I've noticed my phone will not turn its screen off while I am making phone calls with my ears pressed against the phone. Which is quite annoying as my cheeks will inadvertently press buttons while I am on the phone. When I try downloading a proximity sensory check tool on the play store, the sensor appears to work fine.
Anyone else experiencing issues with the proximity sensor while making calls?
Have you looked in phone settings and made sure auto screen off is turned on?

That would be perfect, by chance, do you know where that option is located? When I go to Settings --> Display I do not see that option, I only see smart rotation and smart stay options.
Open the phone app pull up your menu and then select call settings

Many Thanks! I have no clue how that option was unchecked.

Home button lag

I upgraded to the latest siyah Kernel today and the lock screen wakes very quick now.
One thing I always note though even before the upgrade, when pressing home to quit an app there is a noticeable second or two delay before the app responds to the button press.
Any ideas why this may be and if it's normal?

it is normal because the home button has to wait if you click again to open S-voice or not , so there is a delay.
you can try to disable "double click to S-voice" , i did , and this delay just gone!
yeah, disabling S-voice double tap works.
