You have dust in front of the front facing camera between the lens and the gorilla glass. You have to take the phone apart and clean it or maybe try compressed/canned air.

[Q] Not a Prob ... BUt im Paranoid

Hey all...
This might seem silly...
But of late ... ive noticed that when i use my camera on my HD2...
as it focusses (the lens) i can hear a slight "click" sound.
Is this normal???
It didnt happen before and i rarely use the cam...
P.S. my HD2 is in mint condition ....
Pls give suggestions what cud be causing this....
Or am i getting paranoid for no reason???
If you mean an extramly quiet one then yes mine does this when it has just auto focused...
the lense is free floating, and held in a small cage, and magnets move it to focus. if you shake your phone with your ear near the lense you may also hear it.

[Q] galaxy pics comes out blury and snowy

hi there!
im new here, and REALLY apperciate your help
my galaxy camera takes really bad quallity pics... i compared it to another galaxy 2 device and here are the results:
i've attached the images to this post, although the site zipped them but still the diffrence is very disnictive.
my device is updated to the latest android version and the lens isnt cover with dirt or anything,
also it wasnt allways like that- but im not sure when the problem started.
the problem is much much worse when i cativate the flash. its like the phone forgot how to calculate and spread the light...
thanks for your help!!
Are you sure there isn't any dust inside the camera cover glass? Cause I had a similar problem and it was due to the dust entering from head phone Jack to my camera space.

hi! i only checked the outside of the lens...how can i check the inside cover? do i have to take apart the phone?
thanks
No no. Just look through the outer cover. Do you see the lens to be clean or does some dust blur your lens of the camera.

well, agian its hard to tell but it does looks like mine is less clean.
what should i do?
You gotta open it and clean it yourself or go to a service centre. I prefer service centre though. Cause this isn't a software problem. That's how it was for me. I guess it's the same for you.

yellow spot on screen need help to find replacement screen

guys I need help, my phone dropped in water and apperiantly water managed to escape through the phone, and i turned it off immediatly and once i dried it out in a rice bowl for about 2 weeks, i turned it on and it had this 3D look on it and it yet had some bright dots on the screen and I thought it was water drops so i decided to dry it out more in a hair dryer and i put it on very hot and i kept on the phone for a couple of minutes and there was a yellow spot on the screen i think it got burnt or some thing and the company wont fix it for me under warrenty and I wanna fix it my self but i dont know what screen to buy
this?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-For-Son...hash=item4b17a1b1c0:m:mKH1Z0fxHI9L7ZHldQ_fO-Q
or this?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-So...528438?hash=item1eb5684536:g:LJAAAOSwKBVZrgWv
whats the difference between both and which one will solve my yellow spot problem?
First one is third party production, so not from Sony. Can be fine, but it's your choice.
Second is a ripoff. I would recommend to search for an original one but I'm sure you can find it cheaper then there.

hmmmm what i meant was, the first one is only screen and the second is with frame or some thing, whats the difference?
buy screen include frame, speaker, button, headset port and usb port, make sure waterproof seal is good. so you only move phone motherboard, camera and battery. buy Screen include all of them is more better quality of screen, beware bad quality screen is possible ghost touch (lifetime touch screen is bad). I also specially services xperia. I recomended you buy screen like in my attachment (like phone without machine).
and for backdoor/backcover if want to waterproof can use original addesive, usually I use Dextone silicone sealant (pict in attach), green fast drying - orange more time to dry. dab a little silicone on the frame to be taped
not too much, and leave 10 minutes before sticking backcover
I hope its help.
sorry for my english

Back glass adhesive

i had the screen replaced on my s9+ because of the black crushing, the problem is solved now, however, there is another issue
the back glass doesn't seem to be glued perfectly to the phone
can i simply heat the glue with a hairdryer and press it together? or will that damage my device?
thanks!

Whats not perfectly and can you post a pic? Wouldn`t mess with it myself, i assume you have warranty so let the repair centre fix it.
I'd leave it as is and try and get them to sort it out. They are ruthless when it comes to repairs. They refused to repair my wifes S7 because the battery had expanded and cracked and popped the back off. Apparently according to them there was "signs of unauthorised entry" and they refused to replace it based on that, as well as there being water ingress (they have little stickers inside the phone that change colour when water comes into contact. Which they tell me was the reason for the battery expanding.
It got dropped in the bath, once, for a matter of seconds. I might be mistaken, but they're meant to be water resistant up to 5 feet for up to 30 minutes?
they refused to replace the screen, which was damaged (we didnt damage it it just refused to come on despite the rest of the phone working) and they told us that user caused impact has caused it, they wanted £240. I told them to send it back and I'd repair it myself. They sent it back with a new battery "for safety reasons" and then a new back. Which popped off in a matter of seconds. So after all that they solved nothing and saved me money.
thank you for your replies, but i've managed to fix it
i didn't want to bring it again to the repair shop, because it's far away from my home
what i did was i put the phone on a piece of cloth, screen down
then i took a hairdryer and started to heat up the back glass
after it had become too hot to touch, i folded the cloth over the phone and pressed it with my hands
i did this two times and now it's perfectly sealed without any gaps between the glass and the frame

You know that hot glass breaks very easy, so you had luck.
But now your phone may have compromised water resistance.
So samsung does replace the screen under warranty for black crush issues? By fixed, you mean when you watch a dark video with low brightness, the blacks won't become pixelated anymore? Please reply because i might want to send it back to them too.

Yeah, i don't think that's the case, i put my phone in a bowl filled with water and no bubbles were coming out, so i'm positive the water resistance is still there

I had to replace my screen as well because i'd dropped my device and it shattered completely. When i got it back from the repair center i noticed that the battery cover wasn't pressed to the frame all the way. I gave it back to them saying that there was dust trapped underneath the cover (i thought they would refuse my request if i had told them the real reason ) so my camera wouldn't take clear photos. In the end they replaced both of the back cameras and the battery cover looool :laugh: now it's all glued together as it should be

I have the same issue, seems like when you detach an adhesive glass or when you remove the first protective film during unboxing.
