Hi Guys,
I updated my S3 to I9300XXELLC_I9300ODDEMA2_I9300DDELK1, through ODIN, since then i have no Network whatsoever.
Please help me get this fixed!! I dont have Any backup of my phone
I just checked I have now two IMEI numbers, one on a sticker beneath the battery and inside the phone i mean when you go About phone.
Because of this iam not sure which country my S3 belongs and thats a very huge problem now, cant get the right firmware!
Please please help me get this resolved! :'crying::crying::crying:
Answer is you have wrong IMEI .
Fix is restore your backed up EFS folder .
Did not read faqs and guides then you need a service centre repair .

Where can i get the EFS folder. because i did not back it up. Please please help me here :crying::crying:
I Have the original IMEI on the back sticker. Would that help?

No EFS can be replaced by another .
Take phone to a service centre .

Hey all,
I have a big problem at the moment.
I plugged my phone into charge.
At the next day i i tried to start it but it was stucked on the first Bootlogo with the i9300 text.
So i entered Recovery Mode i didnt had Root or flashed anything.
It say failed to mount /efs.
So i flashed a 4.0 firmware (i had 4.1.2) then it worked again the phone booted.
But my IMEI away
I rooted my phone and looked at EFS folder but its empty lol and i enabled "show hidden files which begins with a dot."
Any solution?
I cant bring my phone to repair cuz my screen is brocken and its to expensive to repair it i dotn have money now for it
but Samsung disable Warranty without repairing the Screen lolz
Pls can someone help me if someone needs my Original IMEI which is under Battery and my Empty EFS folder PM me pls

use app from market HC-kTool it will do everything you need. but once is lost you are pretty much ****ed
As you have a habit of breaking stuff and no warranty .
You would be best finding a non samsung phone repair shop .
But first just try a factory reset.

Hey,
I tried everything my EFS was already away before i flashed and rooted.
So i wasnt able to do a backup.
And if i flash JB (Stock,CM everything tried) it stuck on BootLogo Factory reset did already but didnt worked.
Any solution?
Take it to repair shop. No other solution for you m8.

They are not stuck on logo its not a common problem .
By its very nature this forum gets p[osts on such topics from users that have broken phones and that's on all firmware releases not just 4.1 .
Bootloop a common noob user problem from SGS1 onwards .

But the problem is i have no bootloop it stuck on this screen http://fs02.androidpit.info/userfiles/1587174/image/I9300_bootlogo.jpg its not only 4.1 firmware 4.2 isnt working too i tried everything Cyanogenmod, Stock, omega...
all 4.0 firmware are working perfect.
Problem is as already posted you have no EFS folder and no IMEI .
4.1.1 roms do not stuck on bootlogo unless broken .
You asked why 4.1.1 stick on bootlogo they dont any broken firmware can stick on bootlogo

Your phone needs motherboard replacement and rebuilded EFS folder, leave it in for warranty.

But still Fake IMEI and Serial 000000000
Kies say that my phone dont support Firmware upgrading.
Is this cuz i have a fake IMEI ?

The problem is i have no warranty :/
You cannot use Kies or OTA to update and will have to flash updates via Odin .
You may have no network connection with no IMEI but phone should work as Not A Phone .

I googled your querie and found this.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3077367 give it a try, maybe there is an efs backup on the sdcard somewhere?

You're not the first and not the last one with 0049 issue... Look around, don't panic, use search bar instead

As per rule one restore your backed up EFS folder .
Fail to backup flash stock firmware through odin .
Fails to restore return to a service centre don't bother reading the ten million identical posts .

oh now i got it ok then i thought some steps to get my efs back working i want to share it with u gyus and want to know it will work or not ok then
1=delte everything from efs partation with root explorer before that make a backup
2=flash xxemf6 rom (i want to ask will it put orignal efs partation files without doesnt matter if theres no imei or sn
3=using srs server then repair imei and sn
will i get signal after that is it a good method or what else will happen?
anyone here to reply?????

Hi all,
I have a 0049 IMEI number and i realize that my i9300 international S3 is running on a Exynos processor.
And have not found a solution to solve it hence i decided to sent it to the repair center soon.
However my WIFI isnt working too and i hope to be able to solve it so i wouldn't need to pay more money for servicing.
I hope i could get some help here.
My wifi network shows Disabled.
AP:I9300XXEMA2
CP: I9300DXELK1
CSC:I9300OLBEMA1
Without Wifi i wouldnt be able to triangle away my flash counter, so please i need some help here
i hope i could get help to solve this problem then i am left with the imei and would sent for a repair

Days ago my wifi was working until i flash one of the I9300_Repair_efs.tar file i found in the forum.
Sorry not a clue judged by your previous posts you need a service centre to fix it .

i deleted all my system and mobile files by using root explorer i thought that if i delete all files and flash a stock firmware i will clean my mobile 100% but after doing this i dont get my imei and no signal and strange window appear cant hide and i tried to wipe cashe and reset factory setting many times and flashing stock firmware but cant solve this:crying::crying: any help please i will upload a photo for the strange window

Hi you have lost your imei & s/n along with all other bluetooth and wifi files.
Flash this file Generic EFS repair with odin (This would return you to Generic Imei and 0000 s/n).
That yellow icon would disappear but you need to get it repaired at a shop, online or send it to Samsung. There is no DIY method.
it helped with the serial number it has been restored but imei and signal not restored yet ,, any suggestion or help !!

too hard in egypt there is a stupid guys in mobile shops and samsung in egypt is full of thieves and money lovers
btw i discovered that your efs file fixed my serial number but its not the original serial its another numbers and letters !
It's generic i already told you because you do not have efs folder at all. You need to rebuild both and you can't DIY it.
For online remote repair you can try contacting this guy. For 10 Euro i think.
