[Q] Wp7.x version of "Build Prop Editor" - HTC Titan

Where can I find a Windows Phone 7.x version of Android's "Build Prop Editor?" I want to manually edit the "ro.ril.hsdpa/hsupa/hsxpa fields" or WP's version of it and retest cellular data speeds on the AT&T network. If unavailable, please guide as to where I can find it via File Explorer? Thanks in advance!

about apns-conf.xml

hello, everyone.i'd like to ask a question,i modity , configurate the content of ''/system/etc/apns-conf.xml'' and i set my own network provider's APN settings. But when I use the restore default Settings ,it didn't show the APN information, which i set in the file ''apns-conf.xml''.is there any ways can mandate the system to identify it except WIPE.thx...
PS:
finally,i found the solution, you need to modify the file of ''framework-res.apk'', the internal value of ''apns.xml'' must be consistent with that in ''etc/apns-conf.xml''.only this can work, otherwise it will be invalid.

Gingerblur has a full apns-conf.xml . Pull it from there, and push it to your phone.
If your networks MCC-MNC do not match an entry in the apns-conf.xml it won't pull up any settings.
i already tried ''apns-conf.xml'' from gingerblur, but it didn't work.my network provider is not ATT,please tell me how to fix this problem.in other words, how can ''apns-conf.xml'' itself automatically set ,which i have modified it.besides,i don't want to WIPE my atrix.FYI,i'm now living in china.
the Configuration information of my ''apns-conf.xml'' is provided by MCC-MNC information of the network i am using.
Yeah the GingerBlur apns-conf.xml file didn't work for me either. Australian networks aren't in that one. I edited the stock xml file, put in my APNs, rebooted, clicked "Reset to default" (under the APN settings page), and my two APNs were there (default & MMS).
So it should work for you. Did you reboot after editing (or pushing & pulling) the file?
1.modify ''apns-conf.xml'',
2.use adb push access into /system/etc/ to Cover the original source files,
3.reboot phone,
4.enter APN settings,Restoring default Settings ,but it didn't work.
this is my operation.it confused me.If your modifications effective,is this because the MMC MNC of your network had not been shielding ??
Moved as not andorid development
After testing,i found that the original official version 1.5.2 Really can automatically refresh the APN configuration.but what's the reason??? is there any problems with my operation method??or i didn't notice some mechanism

[Q] Non AT&T tether and 2G/GPRS settings

Hello
I have AT&T version of Atrix (ordered unlocked from ebay) and I don't have AT&T sim card. Phone is rooted and running 4.1.57.
My operator uses internet.saunalahti as an APN and nothing else works.
I see that AT&T has done some checks that one cannot create mobile hotspot without tether plan. But my operator has no restrictions on tethering, mobile hotspot does not start and complains that I need the plan from AT&T.
Is there any way to modify that mobile hotspot so it does not check anything when started? Can I adb pull hotspot files, edit and push back?
Is there any other application, that provides this? I tried android-wifi-tether from code.google.com but it crashes when I try to use it.
Another thing is 3G/EDGE/GPRS. I have played a little with ZTE Blade with android 2.1, it was possible to adjust wether to use 3G or sometimes only EDGE/GPRS, but I cannot find any settings regarding that from the Atrix. Is this some kind of AT&T thing, that user is not able to select lower than 3G or Android 2.2 feature?
Otherwise nice phone, these operator customizations are not nice when using with other SIM.
Edit: With older firmware 4.1.26 this worked, if I remember correctly it did check but it passed.
I tried to add APN Type : default, tether, internet, supl, mms
but this 3G to stop working, I have to find out what are needed for my operator.
I was told if you add "tether" to the APN type field so it would look like:
APN Type : default,tether,internet,supl,mms
Of course yours might not have so many options
I have kind of a similar problem here too…I got my Motorola Atrix 4G (unlocked) from a dealer. I rooted my phone by using the “Super One Click v1.7” and has setup everything as according to my operator requirements as well as set the “APN Type: default, tether, internet, supl, mms”…
However, it just won’t work after selected the WiFi hotspot check-box. I just notice a message shows “Setting up data link” and it never goes off there! (P/S: I have to switch-off/on my phone in order to disable this “Setting up data link”). I then Google and managed to find the “Android-WiFi-Tether” APK which required a “root” device BUT after received the “systems updates”…everything gone…I lost my “rooting” capability…
I just read from a source that this latest update will patch the exploit “psneuter”…Is there any others alternative solution to “root” it again? Herewith my phone details: - (after system updates)
(i) System version: 4.1.57.MB860.ATT.en.US
(ii) Android version: 2.2.1
(iii) Baseband version: N_01.77.07P
(iv) Motorola webtop version: OSHWT_U1_4.257.19
(v) Kernal version: [email protected] #1
SMP PREEMPT Tue Mar 1 09:17:07 PST 2011
(vi) Build number: OLYFR_U4_1.5.7
Hope to hear some good news…Thanks.
Hi guys,
This is just an update...I found this post:

Beyond rooting, your options are limited. That being said, an app called "ES File Explorer" is your best bet.
I have "es file explorer" but what can I do with this ? I am able to access to sd card files but that's it.

MEID Question: Specify which version (HEX or DEC) Rom/Apps Use

Hello people, I'm hoping somebody may be able to help me out with this.
I have an E4GT running an AOSP based rom (ParanoidAndroid) and when the apps check the MEID on the phone, they are seeing the DEC number instead of the HEX. I checked this using the "About Phone" section in the system settings and an app called "Android Device ID".
I flashed a TouchWiz based rom (Jellyverse v0.4) and the apps are seeing the opposite. They are using the HEX number instead of the DEC.
This causes problems for game data that uses the MEID to recognize the device. Is there a way to specify which version of the MEID the ROM (and therefore the apps) uses? Maybe a setting or config file that can be edited?
Thanks

[Q] How to change Txpower in JellyBean.

Hi, huys,
I want to increase the txpower of my phone. Now it is set to 19 and I think that, this is the reason for the poor Wi-Fi signal that I get.
I am with Android 4.2
On the older versions, there are two options:
1. Change the txpower via terminal with "iwconfig" command. Or change it with a program (discussed before here). The problem is that when I've tried to add iwconfig or iwmulticall it simply does not want to do the trick.
2. Edit a file in /system/etc/wireless. The problem is that in this version there is no such folder. Instead of it, there is a folder, called "wifi" and there is no such file.
So, where is the file containing the tx power information in this version of Android?
