Is there anything useful in this root tool that could help those who are lacking root?

I have a transformer infinity and this worked on JB without any problems and it was meant for the droid razr.

Iirc it can get temp root, but nothing more. So it's not really of use.

Just tried it, it fails.
With temp root a kexec soulution should be attainable.

I'm todd the same thing, but when working in the terminal emulator, keeps f'n up after the copy command is executed... Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Yeah i dont understand the steps can you do all this from my photon

Should be able to push everything through from sdcard on your phone, as long as your typing correct commands into your terminal emulator. Can find the instructions with the file links.

Posted this in another thread.....
For rooting, this is what worked for me.

Success has been reported in post 15 of the same thread. Also, check out the stickys, particularly "Read Here First. All things MoPho". The best info is kept there.
Good luck!

Are you unlocked and rooted?
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda premium
yea i am but it didnt work on stock either after the first load right after i got it , ever since that one time did not work :/
It's working great for me, right now.
Still locked and non-rooted
I get the error in the attacked image everytime I try to stream.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda premium
I can't remember if it ever worked for me. I almost want to unroot and re lock just to get it to work if it will.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda premium
it worked for me when I first got the phone, but after I rooted it stopped working... either because of root itself or because I have adfree android (even though I didn't apply it yet)
Works fine on stock for me
I get the same error when it is about to start streaming.... How do we fix this?!?!
It worked great totally stock, however once rooted it stopped working.
I'm still running the stock Rom, just rooted.

I get a somewhat similar error. It sucks because hulu plus is awesome

Anyone have any luck with it working?
Nope, its due to the unlocked bootloader, not so much root.

Is it the CID thing you do when you unlock the bootloader?

I guess it was the ROM not letting hulu work

Why can't you just one click root then use this?

What's the one click root?

I think this tool is pretty simple, clear and easy. Just follow the steps and give it a go. In the worst scenario, if you do something wrong, root won't be achieved, so nothing will actually change. But it's really easy, seriously.
I've had my L9 for about a month now and have been trying to (simply) root it to remove the excessive amount of T-mobile bloatware.

It depends what softwate version your running.

then no, there is no 1 click root. just lelus' method.
Haven't heard of that yet. Only bin4ry (binary) root method but it seems so complicated. Could you possibly post a link?

Lelus is it for us, I'm afraid. It isn't horrible but certainly not one click. Lol. After rooting, save your root with the OTA Root Saver app if you want to update to Jellybean. Then you can reapply the saved root. And use the search function. Spoon feeding is frowned upon.
It's more of a 10 or 15 click method.

Ive been using various methods with success but my method is...convoluted to say the least. Anyone want to recommend a method they find thats relatively quick?
Thanks
