I updated my GS3 to 4.2.2 Jelly Bean leaked firmware from Sammobile (http://goo.gl/p7Zfg).
Firmware Details
Android Version: 4.2.2 – JDQ39 (Jelly Bean)
PDA: I9300XXUFME3
CSC: I9300OJKFME1
MODEM: N/A
Region: Middle East
Carrier: Branded
Changelist: 611730
Build Date: 8 May 2013
But now I have 2 questions which need everyone who see this post help me
1. How can get back Chinese language on this ROM? (The phone can read and type, but just no the language)
2. If possible, how to replace the HOT mobile boot screen logo back to the stock Samsung boot logo?
I also downloaded "more local" from PlayStore, but it doesn't change anything.

for (2) check the "leak" thread in the general section, there is a file to flash for removing the boot animation.
for (1) I am not quite sure.

Hello XDA!
Just got my brand new Samsung GS3 just over a week ago and the first thing I see when I boot it up is the branded Telecom boot animation and I almost rage quit because I was never told that I was getting a branded model. I have flashed XXALE8 stock ROM and XXLE8 MODEM to get rid of the branded bloatware.
Now there's two questions I have:
1) I have heard rumours that the GT-I9300T has a preference for the 850mhz band over other bands, now assuming this is true, is this software based or hardware based?
2) Where can I find bootloaders for the GT-I9300? I want to change to a GT-I9300 bootloader, the current bootloader I have is I9300TDUALE6.
Information about the phone is found using play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.curvefish.apps.deviceinfo
Here's a screenshot if you need more info.

Have a look here for the latest official firmware => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544487
Download XWLPY (Android 4.0.4), extract the zip file, flash the tar/md5 file in PDA section of Odin and reboot the phone.
Very easy ... good luck !
Is someone trying to develop root for the Galaxy S3 Mini (GT-I8190)?

Cheers, Si.
I wish I could post this in its proper forum but I am on my mobile and having trouble with pages constantly reloading. Anywho! As far as I know, the BTU csc is MG4. I was wondering whether I might find a flashable image of JUST the csc. My current csc is MG2 (VNZ) despite the fact that my system says NZC as it should.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: I should probably provide some context as to my desires here.
I want to have the option to update via Kies but due to the differences in software I can't. Also I'm confused as to why my phone says NZC as my csc but Kies says VNZ. (It was originally VNZ but I Flashed a rom with NZC) Which do I believe? Kies or my phone?

Hi! Please see Pic below for System Info.
So, my Samsung gt-s7562 won't connect to g3 in Movistar (Local daughter of Telefonica) Nicaragua, only EDGE.
Context: Phone is in factory status, identical phone bought in Germany has same problem. Other Phones, even older Samsungs work fine with HSDPA within Movistar Nicaragua. Phone has no other Problems (except bloatware which is why I'm open for flashing a ROM)
Questions: Is there a Chance by hyperX or should I try better unofficial cyanogenmod? Or should I go for another region's Firmware?
