Popping noise while streaming - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Whenever I stream music my earbuds and speakers (device speakers not bluetooth) make a popping noise every few seconds.
Any ideas what could be causing this or how it could be fixed?
On scrosler's De-odexed Stock Root 1.26
Stock Kernel.
Only happens when streaming audio or video.
Happens regardless of whether Beats is on or off.

I totally agree on this, I am experiencing with this issue too, like when I'm playing Pandora. Currently, I'm running ARHD 9.1 stock kernel. Have not figure out how to get rid of this issue..

[Q] CM7 Bluetooth Audio Streaming to car stereo problem

I'm currently on Neutrino's v2.5p2 ROM and my phone doesn't allow any application other than the built in music player to stream any audio to my car stereo through bluetooth. I used to hear Tune In radio on a daily basis without any problems with the stock GB roms but ever since I unlocked my phone and started playing with different roms (Ba2tF, Nightly's, Neutrino, Dorian's Red Pill) I've been unable to listen to any streaming audio app through my bluetooth connection. No power AMP, no youtube, not even video audio from the built in media player. I can sometimes hear about 2 seconds from Tune In if I start the app while hearing audio from the music player: the music player audio would stop while the audio from tune-in starts to sound through the car speakers but after about a second and a half the audio gets cut out (but the app screen shows that the audio is still playing). Anyone else has had this issue?
Anyone? anyone?
Canr say i have had this issue cuz i dont use blue tooth for anything but have you checked in the dsp manager and blue tooth settings to see if there is something preventing it? not sure if thats any help buy best of luck.
got the problem solved. I installed Turl's CM9 V9 ROM.

[Q] CM10 Bluetooth Volume and Quality

A lot of times the Bluetooth volume will be very low when I start playing media. I need to turn down the Bluetooth volume down from 100% to about 75%. After doing this the volume will jump up to the correct level that the slider is showing, then I can move it back to 100% to get full volume.
When listening to music with heavy bass, when the bass hits the rest of the music gets almost distorted and a lower volume. I hear this issue when streaming or listening to locally stored music.
Neither of the issues above were present in the stock ROM. I am just wondering if anyone else is seeing this or if there is a fix.
I am on CM10 20121210
Thanks.
I was having similar issues as well. I had problems with sound quality when connected to my car's stereo. I also had issues connecting to the stereo. This is the reason I switched back to Sense, because it was getting annoying. As soon as someone fixes this I'll jump right back to CM10.

Sound output to speakers has some noise

I output the music to my car speakers with the jack. There is some noise coming out of the background. Sometimes it will go away but most of the time I can hear it. Does anyone have the same issue?
batch problem
never heard it, maybe it's your music file's issues. or turn the volume down try again

I am sure it's not the music files because those are the same as the files on my evo 4G LTE. When I output the music with my evo, it's fine without noise. Even I turned the volume down, there is still some noise (like bad connection noise) coming out from my right speaker. Thanks for the tips, I guess I am the only one who's having trouble. Maybe I should just exchange it.
yeah, exchange it , that's the best way to solove this

ClearAudio+ Distortion under MM

I upgraded to MM on my Z5C when it rolled out. I'm bootloader locked, my DRM keys are in place etc.
Now normally I listen with a bluetooth headset (and yes am plagued by the new stuttering on bluetooth connections with MM, but audio is otherwise clear), so I was surprised when I hooked up wired earphones and heard muddy, distored audio, as though I'd cranked bass up in an equalizer. Completely fuzzed audio. A quick test and I discovered that turning OFF clearaudio+ stopped the distortion.
I loved the clearaudio+ quality, but it's now just causing this nasty distortion. Has anyone else experienced this?
I had the same issue, go to settings, apps and clear data of audio settings

Pure genius, thanks for the tip. Worked perfectly and all audio settings are now back on track.

Yes! The buggers. I only use dsee now to eliminate this racket. Also I find that plugging my phone in to external amp via the headphone socket and immediately pressing play results in intermittent stuttering of the audio for at least ten seconds. MM has clearly broken the sound. I want to love this phone but sony are making it difficult/don't give an aftersales sh**e.
If htc had made a phone with this spec I wouldn't have hesitated. (by this spec, i mean ip rated, sub 5", half decent camera, sd card, for the trolls)

what app ???
I have the same problems more or less with Nougat and have no "audio settings" app or anything like it...

Speaker issue, only works sometimes

So I got the Kate version of this phone for a couple of months and I really like it. But today, it stopped playing sound from the back speaker when using media apps like Spotify and Youtube. If I plug in my headphones, it works just fine though.
Here is the fun part: If I start a song on spotify, go into settings>sound and change the volume for the notification with the slider, the sound of the notification is played from the speaker as the volume is adjusted. When the sound has played, it resumes playing the sound from spotify. But when the song ends (and another one begins) or I skip to the next song, the sound is gone again. As I am running custom rom(Aosp Extended), I'd thought it was just some weird bug. I did a complete reflash of another rom, Pure Nexus, but I still have the same problem. What could be causing this!? I have never experienced this with any other phone. At first I thought the speaker was broken, but it does seem to work. I still get notification and ringtone sound if I get a text or somebody calls me.
Youtube video showing the issue
No one has found a solution to this?
