[Q] Accidentally Deleted SecLauncher2.apk - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, accidentally I deleted the SecLauncher2.apk, now my S2 doesnt boot, anyone knows how can I put back the backup file I have?
Galaxy S2 GT-I9100
Stock JB 4.1.2 rooted
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

If you have a nandroid backup u can restore or from adb push apk to system
Send from my SGS2 I9100 with HassanROM and latest DorimanX 8.xx kernel

HI, no, i dont have, what i have is a backup of the SecLauncher2.apk file , and I remember that the USB debugging mode was off.
My S2 only shows the samsung logo.

No one?
Thanks.

I have been thinking, and could it be possible for me to make a CWM zip file with the SecLauncher2.apk and install it via recovery mode?
If yes, could someone teach me how to do the zip file?
THANKS.

Make a flashable kernel

I have a kernel that needs to be flashed trough odin, but I want to convert it into a flashable zip.
To do that, all i need to do is download a flashable custom kernel, delete the boot.img that comes inside the zip file and move the boot.img of the other kernel (the one that comes in .tar) kernel into the flashable zip and then flash through cwm?
Do i need to do something else or with that it should work?
Thanks you in advance.
Just open the zip file and add your .img or .bin (for the modem flasher).
Don't forget to delete the .txt file.
That's all.

maybe i9300 and s3 mini have different recovery partition, when you are using flashable zip from other model you are not only porting the img but you have to check and edit also the updater-script to match it with your model partition thats why it messed up your phone's partition.

You mention that u cant access recovery and download mode so the technician has no way to check the status of your phone if rooted or not?
If you bring it for warranty repair just dont tell them that u rooted it and flashed anything, just make your own reasoning so u dont have to pay for the repair.

Problem while saving actual ROM in CWM Recovery

Hello,
I've tried to make a nandroid backup with the CWM-Recovery today.
But it says that it cannot access a special folder of the system.
Here are the displayed Logs:

Now my Question is if the saving Process was successful or if the error says that it was unsuccessful and how can i repair it then.
Thank to all.

Okay. But does this error say to me that the nandroid backupping was unsuccessful or can i handle it like a notice so that I've got a correct nandroid backup un my system ?
I think it just "aborts" if it fails.

OK. I don't have this folder on my System. So I think it is either an application error so that it would not create that folder or it is not created because the backup doesn't run complete.

I think u won't get further with this kernel.
It's written that it isn't possible to get into the CSC.
So maybe it's because the kernel is not able to OR because soemthing wrong with the CSC.
Backup all ur important data to PC and try, or u can life without a nandroid backup

Okay. I saw in my Smartphone, that everytime I've tried to start the CWM Recovery it was landing in the Android System Recovery. It doesn't matter when I start the Backupping over the ROM-Manager or over the 3-Button-Mehtod. I don't come into the CWM Recovery.
My installed Verison is the 3.0.0.x version for Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100). When I choose the Samsung Galaxy S2 (galaxys2) CWM Recovery version, then i am coming into the CWM recovery tool but then it hang with that message

Any way to fix that ?
Should I unroot my Firmware perhaps firstly and reroot it with odin before i start it again ?
Thanks for your help.

Right, with what you are saying you do not have permanent cwm and you mention rom manager. That doesnt work properly with s2 so if I was you I would
Flash that kernel mentioned earlier or
Get siyah 2.6.14 .tar kernel and flash it using odin

You could try a Fix Permissions option. What recovery are you using?
Or if you have a Nand backup why not just restore it?

If you have cwm recovery you can fix permissions from cwm.
If you have stock recovery try to flash cwm recovery....or you can flash rom again...and rooting.
TWRP has a Fix Permissions option as well.

[Q] Boot Loop After Flashing A Flashable framework zip file

Please help me what to do? I'm stuck in a boot loop after flashing a zip file that was supposed to let Arabic supported, but I guess the zip file was wrong or something?
Is it fixed by flashing a flashable zip that has a framework or something? Excuse me I'm such a noob
Can anyone provide a flashable zip file that would make it work again? No need for Arabic, I just want it booting normally again.
Thank you.
