Hello i have a xperia x10i and i would like to know how to put cm9 in there. I have a rooted phone with x10 2.3.3 doomkernel-v06-bootmanager-v2.-0 but when i go to cwm and select install this zip FXP129-cm-9-20120714-UNOFFICIAL-es209ra.zip i get a message saying error 7 (the not correct file error). And i cant install it, i have either tried with this kernel https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B-aW2YAOAvjMaEZDSFBLdWlLTzA/edit?pli=1 and same thing.
I would like to know how to flash but... please help-me!
just update your CWM recovery and you're good to go.

Well this kernel does not boot my custom rom (ferralab) and has no cwm so im not able to proced.
I have repaired the phone via sony pc companion, then rooted, installed your kernel and finaly the cwm of the flashtools and still not able to recognize the sony ericsson x10i
Any other help?
the kernel above is for fxp-cm9 roms. if you are using feralab ics, you need to use the ferakernel_ics located here: http://www.mediafire.com/?bt92v0qpxt9varq
Solved mate. Thanks

Don't need any pre-installation of CM9 roms.. all you need Xperia ICS rom and you are good to go...
1) flash the FXP132 kernel using flashtool..
2) Start phone and go to recovery and do factory reset. cache wipe, dalvik wipe..
3) Go to mounts and storage select mount/data, mount/system
3a) Now select format/cache and format cache similarly format/data and format/system
4) Now select and flash the VR's Xperia X ICS rom and restart
5) Go back to CWM and install Gapps and sony's add on apps if you want and restart..
6) Now log in to your google account and download what ever apps you want
6) Go back to CWM and wipe cache and dalvik cache but do not select "Factory/data reset"
You should be good to go
Im also attaching FXP132 kernel with this post so that you dont have to search for it.... Thank FXP for his amazing work....
Hi already flash this cm9 but I can't have ums.. It'st normal

Hello.
I want to change from CM9 FXP202 to FXP204 because in FXP202 the GPS don´t work in my NEO with Vodafone. But I don´t want to reinstall apps with Titanium and return to reconfigure the icons desktops and widgets and apps.
So I think that to update rom, I have to flash kernel, make full wipe and flah rom. Is it necessary? Is there a method to don´t lose the apps and desktops?
Thank you.

When you update from one fxp version to another you don't lose apps...usually you don't need to wipe... Just install...
So did you try?

I think that what I have to do is:
Flash kernel
Boot in CWM
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik cache
Flash FXP ROM
If I don't do more Wipes, Iwill not lose my apps. :good:
Now, I hope that they have resolved the problem of GPS with 2011 devices in FXP204

No,wipe battery stat is only needed if your battery indicator is showing some weird indications!
It doesn't do anything at all!
You can skip it safely!

If you dont format your data, then there's no need of flashing gapps again.

I do not wipe anything and flash new zip.
Nothing goes wrong. Gapps + apps still as it.
Except if you are using xperia keyboard or walkman player, you will need to reflash those things.

but you don't need to flash kernel with flastool
Instruction:
- full wipe (cache, data, dalvik-cache)
- flash rom via CWM
- flash root pack via CWM
- reboot to system
- after second reboot you need to wait about 10 minutes
- enjoy!
