Okay this morning I decided to root my phone and I accidently installed the wrong MeanRom and I was then stuck in a bootlooop, then I tried to reset to factory settings and it was still in a bootloop. I then relocked my phone, I was trying to find a forum to help and it got worse. Im now stuck in the boot loader, and it has the Relock & System Warning on. I really don't know what to do. I have and Evo 3D and on S-ON. What do I do to boot my phone normally again?
ruu

Hello,
Right, I am aware that I've probably made a huge mistake, but I thought, "hey, warranty void because of my screen, why not?", but I have searched and searched and was up until three this morning trying to find a solution, but I only kept getting confused (bare in mind I'm only sixteen).
I rooted my phone using the HTCDev method, and flashed the LoLic Sense ROM, it worked and I turned my phone back on and it got stuck on the bootscreen. So, I downloaded the RUU and tried to go back to stock, and it kept failing. I even tried the PG86IMG.zip and even that didn't work. So, I downgraded to the LEEDroid ROM that came with the revolutionary package I'd used before the official update to ICS, and now I can't even get past the initial HTC screen.
Please can anybody help me get back to stock on my phone? I've managed it before, but this time I keep seeming to come up short.
Thank you
EDIT:
I'm on HBOOT 1.53.0007 - after updating to the official ICS.
I've tried downgrading using the Gingerbread RUU and it won't install on the phone. I can't S-OFF using the wire trick because I'm afraid to break it even more.
I've tried flashing the rooted GB zip in clockworkmod and it says its installed, but I can't turn the phone on and it only gets to the first white HTC screen and then turns itself off.
I'm terrified that I may have broken my only phone and I don't know what to do, please can somebody help me?
If you are S-ON HTC Dev unlocked you need 4ext with smartflash or fastboot flash boot boot.img to install the kernel.
Hi everyone!
Here is a situation.
I have two Evo 3D, both with same problem. They reboots after HTC logo.
It happened after OTA update to ICS 4.0.4.
All processess has passed fine until reboot.
So now i have two Evo with HBOOT 1.58, S-ON, UNLOCKED bootloader and bootloop.
Ready to listen any ideas or suggestions. Maybe someone know solution...?
P.S. I has try to flash device with PG86IMG.zip with different versions, 1.13, 2.17 and 2.89.
With 1.13 i get error. Firmware is older than installed in device, and get back me to menu.
With 2.17 after pass checking of zip file again i'm in main menu.
2.89 pass all checks and flash fine until reboot... then reboot forever (((
I think downgrade bootloader would help, but how?
Because here is a problem... i can't turn on device.
Thank you!
I just want to get this cleared. Did you say that your phone reboots in the middle of you flashing an ruu? It shouldn't be doing that in bootloader. Well in any case if what you are saying is true then your phone just became a very expensive paper weight. Your bootloader got corrupted when it rebooted during the flash. And your cannot turn on? Have you tried pulling the battery out and placing back in and seeing if you can get into bootloader? I don't know what you did but your phone should not been rebooting in bootloader or recovery mode. There was a guide that could've saved your phone but seeing how if you cannot turn it on in bootloader, there isn't anything anybody can do.
I hope you will have luck to get into bootloader because it will be sad to say EVO 3D died :/
But when the bootloader is coruppted then like JSparta says.....It will be just an expensive paper holder :/
Did u succeed?

ok I'm not sure what the problem is really, I needed to get back to stock to try and unlock my phone, was on cm11 before, so the bootloader was unlocked and everything, the phone is UK 02, so the cid is 02_001 or something..so i took it to a phone shop and he couldn't unlock it so for some reason he tried to factory reset my phone, it was stuck on the cyanogenmod loading screen for about 10 minutes, so I took it back home, and turned it off, went into recovery reflashed it and it still doesn't load. I then relocked the bootloader, and tried to flash a ruu, which didn't work, wrong cid, then I found the 02 ruu, but it says wrong bootloader, and after research I think my hboot is too new, so I've tried reflashing cm11 so I can S-OFF my phone and get it back to stock, but no matter what I try, it just won't boot past the initial loading screen, please help!
S-Off is not possible to obtain on our phone, did you flash boot.img from the zip file?

It didn't get stuck because it was rooted. It go stuck because he deleted OS, so of course it can't boot into the OS after you do that.
Your friend needs to learn more before messing with the phone. It seems he was wiping things without knowing what they were, which is a bad idea.
Yea u r right, he didn't know was rooted at first, but lucky it's ups and running now
Hello everyone, been a while that I've messed with an HTC phone but here is the run down. I traded for this Verizon HTC One Max and it came with Candy5 rom installed. Everything was working fine until yesterday it randomly shut down and would not turn back on (none of the tricks with the hardware buttons worked). The Back and Home button were lit up so I decided to let it die. This morning I turned it back on but it would only boot loop with no chances of getting into TWRP. I tried ADB and nothing. After searching, I got my hands on a Verizon RUU and decided to use it. It detected the phone and it went through the process and gave me the "congrats" prompt. It rebooted on its own and got stuck in a boot loop at the HTC Logo screen. I still have access to the HBOOT screen. Here are my stats:
RELOCKED
T6WL PVT SHIP S-OFF RH
CID-VZW__001
HBOOT 2.49.0000
Radio -1.36.60.0520
OpenDSP v33.120.274_T6.0029
I tried a factory reset and that did not work either. I just want to go back to stock and get this thing back up. Any help? This is the RUU I used.:

I also used an Encrypted zip as well. I did notice that when I turn it off and then charge it, TWRP boots up but it glitches out with the battery charging animation. I tried to quickly press on some of the buttons like Wipe or Reboot but they don't work.

Right after running the RUU. Have you tried going to HBOOT and selecting Factory Reset?

You can always try this way but it's basically the same way as running the RUU... Look at the bottom at this page. http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/htc-one-max-update/

I just tried it and it came back saying there is no software for my phone. I used an Encrypted RUU.zip and then flashed a TWRP zip. Everything seems to be flashing perfectly but it just refuses to boot! I did notice that when I turn it off and then charge it, TWRP boots up but it glitches out with the battery charging animation. I tried to quickly press on some of the buttons like Wipe or Reboot but they don't work. Tried relocking it and now it says RELOCKED. This is going down hill.
Any update on this Bor? This seems exactly as what is happening tome just now....the battery with the TWRP glitch and all. I'm all ears to hear if you are up and running again....and hopefully without a complete re-flash as I haven't made a nandroid backup of my CM12.1 build!
