I have been using the Live Logcat & Dmesg Boot Animations from Chainfire for awhile now. When I purchased a Verizon HTC Incredible 4G LTE I found that they work when I am using the stock SENSE but not on CM10.1. I never use SENSE and am a loyal CyanogenMod user. They worked fine for me on all previous builds of CyanogenMod from 7 to 9. I think it might have something to do with the Memory situation and have tried various SD Card swaps, storing on Internal vs External and so on but have not had much luck. I think it is something simple but do not have the expertise to figure it out. Also I have tried contacting Chainfire but have not gotten any response. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance... P.S. I use a Verizon HTC Incredible 4G LTE with JB 4.2.2 / CM10.1 / 1.9 OC Infernal Kernel / Rooted / Bootloader Unlocked / S-Off / etc...

Today I was trying to port Sense 4.1 lite from the HTC Desire X to the HTC One V. I used this guide, but I always have a blackscreen when booting. I can't get a logcat because I have no way of enabling ADB. I know the ROM sort of works internally, because files are generated in /data. Can anyone help me with this?
Hello I recently got this phone and got help with s-off and unlocking. Now I am trying to figure out the best rom/kernel configuration to get the best performance possible. If you know of any just put links here. I got the most performance out of the sense 5 mod rom, with a 7300 quadrant score! There was a kernel I saw that the CPU could go to 2.0ghz and the gpu was overlooked 500mhz 3d and idk what the 2d was, I think it was called [sense] infernal kernel but I am not clear on what roms I can use it on, I tried flashing it on the sense 5 mod rom and it didn't boot. Anyway thanks for any help.

well, the "infernal kernel" (latest rev. is 1.42) by jose ... at best maybe the 1.8GHz-version, as above could be instable on most phones, is definately THE choice to go for for all stock-based roms = thereby ONLY for any custom-rom BASED on the _stock-htc ICS4.0.4 rom-image with Sense4.1_, since his modded kernel is based on those kernel-sources. the probably very BEST ICS4.0.4 rom is ViperLTE2.2.0, but unfortunately development has ceased and thereby no newer improvements will come and the rom is abandoned, still most ppl (that like/love Sense) here still this one as their main rom.
the neat Infernal4+ rom (also by jose and others) is JB4.1 and also has an infernal-kernel (but a JB-infernal and is thereby different than the main branch) ... problem is, that camera and bt do NOT work!
if you want newer stuff ... go grab yourself the latest official CM10.2.1_stable (or the mdmower version, which uses the CM10.2.1_stable branch as a base).
i myself tested pacman-rom (CM+AOKP+PA is an all-in-one rom) ... latest is pac_fireball-nightly-20140128.zip and thereby near identical to the CM10.2.1 (just 4 days older), but with addons from AOKP and PA. their KK-roms aren't yet out. also Avatar-Rom (used to be JB4.3, now also KK4.4) was also pretty prominent ...
those are the most common roms i'd say, but grab yourself your own favorite rom ... i myself would go for either ViperLTE2.2.0 (still ICS, but stock-based) ... or take the last JB4.3 PacMan-Rom for all its features

The CM 10.2.1 version is what I put on my wife's phone.
Hi All,
It's been awhile since I rooted a phone and decided to do this on my now old HTC EVO 4G LTE (Sprint) phone last night. I installed Viper4G ROM 3.1.7 with stock Kernel.
hardware version: 3
Android: 4.1.1
HTC Sense: 4+
Software: Viper4G 3.1.7
Everything is working great and the ROM is beyond what I've experience in the past.
The only issue I'm having is that some of my apps will not install with the following error "Couldn't install on USB Storage or SD Card".
Some of the Apps that failed are:
- Soundhound Pro (Yes this purchase version)
- PowerAmp Pro License
- X Scope Broswer
And few more. Is there something I need to change during the installation process for these apps or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance,
T
Did you do a clean install?

Yes, I did. I read that there was the same problem on the Viper Rom for the HTC One and they had a fix. I tried to browse through the ROM Thread but didn't see anything regarding this matter.
Should I do a backup and wipe it out and try to reinstall the ROM again?
Recently acquired an Evo 3D (Sprint CDMA) to replace my HD2 (AT&T GSM). The Evo3D has Android 4.0.3, and Sense 3.6.
Moved my 16gb Class 10 SDHC card from the HD2 to the Evo3D - seems to work fine.
However, I miss my SlimKat rom I had running (in NativeSD mode, dual boot with WM6.5) on the HD2.
The SlimKat files, etc. are all still in place on the SD card.
Is there a SIMPLE way to dual boot the Evo 3D into the already-present SlimKat rom?
Without properly porting, no chance.

How to enable?
Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question, I've done my best to search for the answer in the threads but cannot find anything. I installed ARHD 83.1 (on my HTC One M7 - was originally an AT&T branded phone if that matters) which is supposed to include the TMOUS Wifi Addon however I am not sure how to enable it or how I know if its already enabled and working. I've gone through the settings and see nothing with respect to Wifi calling, only an option for internet calling which appears to be something different. There is no Wifi calling icon in the status bar either indicating its working.
Prior to installing ARHD I had a stock TMO RUU (Android 4.1) installed and Wifi calling was working flawlessly. I live in an area with poor to zero reception so I really need Wifi calling to work. In order to use a service I already pay for I need to install an app that requires Android 4.4, hence updating to ARHD.
maximusHD 46/elemental x is a go
Thank you Dev for creating this vital add-on!!!
Just wanted to report that i installed your latest version for ARHD with Sense 6.0 running Android 4.4.3. I'm running MaximusHD 46.0.0 with 3.4.10-ElementalX-m7-18.0Sense. Wi-Fi calling works when receiving and making calls; everything else is working too. I've had no issues for more than 48 hours since installing your excellent add-on.
My T-Mobile HTC One m7 is fully rooted with s-off, build: 6.09.401.11.
Thanks again Dev!!!
I flashed the add on zip for 82.0 after I flashed ARHD 83.1. Audio is back and wi-fi calling works! Thanks!

I'm running ARHD 82.0 still, but I am running the 6.09.401.10 firmware that I flashed through RUU. Is it possible you have an AT&T firmware? I also heard from 1 user that they were able to get it working with ElementalX kernel. That may also be worth a shot if changing your firmware doesn't work.

You are very welcome, and this is fantastic news!! I'm happy to hear that it is working on MaximusHD. ElementalX is also the way to go; I've been using it for a while without any issues so far as well. :good:
MaximusHD 46.0.0
Thanks again Dev!!! Also, please let me know if you need any additional info, logcats, etc. from my phone if you thinkit will help further your development. I, too, think the add-on is working due to the elementalX kernel. On a separate note, I had trouble achieving s-off until i switched my kernal from elemental to bulletproof and just like that, s-off was achieved, afterwards, I switched back to elementalX.
Again, let me know if you need any help. -Rob
PS: Wi-Fi Calling continues to rock and I can also report that I've been making and receiving Wi-Fi calls on multiple friends' Wi-Fi networks and the calls are crystal clear!!!!
