I updated the phone and when I try to call a call on LTE is hangs up calls. Also receiving calls send people to my voice mail. The phone supposes to switch to 4G when making calls and it doesn't switch.
Please close this post. Stupid Tapatalk app made a mistake..
...... Crickets......
Lol.. Lots of them. I figured out the problem. I had the LTE band locked. So when I receive a call it won't switch bands.
Why did you post it here in these forums though?
That's dumb. Not even a similar device

Try this with your HOX+ (at least on AT&T's version):
Call someone
then call yourself
Do you notice that the original call hears your call waiting tones? I've confused many people when that happens.
It hasn't happened on any other device I've had. Anyone else?
Been having issues since last night. Samsung Galaxy S3 Three UK Network.
Since about 5pm last night i have been unable to make/receive calls and texts. When i go to dial a number it says dialling on the screen and doesn't do anything. Signal is full. If i try it perhaps four or five times it will eventually dial out but after talking for a few minutes the voice goes like a robot and is as if someone is talking under water. Cant make anything out. Same when someone calls me. Goes to answerphone and after about 5 attempts at calling me my phone will ring.
Texts are coming up fail every now and then and my 3G signal keeps alternating between H+,H and 3g and only works every few minutes.
Have called Three but its torture. They say no problem at their end and have escalated my issue which can take up to THREE days for someone to respond.
As phone is an S3 and as its a micro sim i cant try the sim in another phone as my other phones are normal sized sims. Did try putting it in anyway but the phone wouldnt detect it. Have also tried a factory reset with no joy.
So frustrating as it seems to be intermittent.
Any ideas :good:
Is this since after the jb update? You may wish to try flashing the same firmware using odin and see that sorts it out. 3G signal on Three basically means nothing is working anyway.. lousy network

I'm pretty well-versed in all of this, I help in these threads more often than not, but this has never happened to me. When I call my girlfriend, it rings a few times then goes to voicemail, the call never shows up on her phone. She has an iPhone 5 and has no problems with anyone else calling her or her calling me. I have no problems calling anyone else or receiving calls.
The weird thing is that this happens among multiple different rom's and kernel's. Anyone have ideas?

She also can't receive my texts. She can receive my calls if I *67 before hand.

Are you sure the problem isn't on her end? Maybe your number was accidentally blocked?

I checked and I wasn't blocked. That was my first guess of course. I don't know lol I used Odin and its good now. I can't begin to guess what the cause the was.

I've had similar things happen to me and my girl, she's on sprint though and kind of just blamed them! Like it gets lost in phone land or something

I think the problem is on her end.
If your phone is registered with the network and you can call others; it has to be her end.
Rolling into voicemail, dialing *67 before you dial out are indications of something on her end blocking calls and text from callers with caller ID blocked.
My gf has been complaining about her not coming in or sending. I've read a story about sending people coming from iPhone might have the problem but she had a Note 5 previously. Anyone with the same issue or have any suggestions?
Check with carrier first. Then a network reset.
i've got a verizon phone with a t-mobile sim to complicate things, but yeah, i've missed texts and calls. i'd just suddenly get a voicemail without the missed call
