Hi
If you dont have any memory card inserted abd u try to move apps from phone memory to sd card does it move app to internal phone memory that is the 16gb memory or does it give u an error - not enough memory available
Hi Can anyone please check this on his phone.
I read that apps in samsung galaxy s 2 are not moved to sd card but to internal phone memory that is the 16gb phone memory which is listed as sd card in file explorer.
So i presume that having no external sd card one can still move apps from phone memory to sd card (which is acutally the internal 16gb memory) - am i correct or not?
Can someone check this on his phone please - since i want to know whether there is a problem with my phone or not.

Yer you can, the 16gb phone memory is treated as an sd card and so apps2sd would move it to that bit of memory. Not sure wether you can move it from there to an external sd though...
Hi thanks for your reply - so you need to use apps2sd to move them - can't you use the application management application of android itself to do so.
Since the strange thing is this - if i do not have sd card inserted and i try to move app from phone storage to sd card - using the android application management - i get an error unable to move application not enough storage, yet if i have sd card inserted then app is moved. The weird thing is that the app is moved to the internal memory not the external sd card - so why do you need to have an sd card inserted to move app?

Is it possible to increase the internal memory from 8gb to 16gb, as it was in Mozart, by changing microSD card?
The anwer is NO as Radar has 8GB build in NAND memory not SD Card
Hi
I can not find tip how I can do it
I have just formated SanDisk 64 GB micro sd card and momentary have 59,4 GB place on that card.
When I make recording with camera and make photos I would like to save directly that videos/photos on micro sd card.
How I can do it?
Thanks
In the Camera App itself you can choose in the settings (top left icon) whether to save the videos/pictures to the internal memory or SD card.
Just for future reference by the way, it's best to put any questions like this in the Q&A section of the forum.
Hope this helps
I was woundering if the phones internal memory is a chip in the board or is it a micro sd card? If it is an sd card. Can we take the phone appart and replace with a larger micro sd card to give the phone more memory?
already has been asked and posted. its not replaceable. its not a sd. but a memory module attached to the board.
Hello,
I recently bought a Lenovo A820 and am currently using LambdaROM 2.3.5a. My phone has 4GB of internal space and I have a 8GB microSD card in it as well. My internal storage is running low, but my internal sd card is empty and cannot be used, because I've all things on the external sd. Is there anyway to merge the internal sd card with the internal phone storage? I've searched long and hard already, but found no concrete information. I know I can swap memories and even link my sd card to the phone storage. But my internal storage is 4GB which only 2GB are being used for the phone storage and 2GB are partitioned to the internal sd card. I would like to merge them into the internal phone storage, if possible. My question is: is it possible? If so, how can I do it?
Thank you.

Hi
You cannot merge virtual internal SD and physical external SD into one volume.
However you can probably swap it - which should solve all of your problems.
Your phone has MTK6589 chip, so the process will be similar as on my Snopow: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2777140
After the swap external SD will be visible as internal SD and the other way round. That means you can buy 64GB SD card and have all this space available for installing apps because phone will see this card as internal storage.
