i cannot use custom camera apps on my galaxy ace they get installed but they dnt support flash night and few options regarding the brightness
i tried apps like camera zoom,camera 360 and snap etc but anything didnt help........plz help me

i think he meant to say that the custom camera apps does not work well on our acei,
they don't support flash light, night mode and etc stuff..

you posted two questions with same title...and that too in the wrong section..
this is not q & a section..
post in the right section..
asking question is not a problem but asking in wrong place is the real problem..
someone from pc pls report this thread to move it in q&a section..
as for the problem that u said,
u are not the only one to face those problem..
i am using zoom fx and this app too is having such issues like flash ligh doesnt work, night mode doesn't work...
so i guess it's the limitation of our hardware..
no software related problem there..
(or may be the missing broadcom drivers problem...idk)
simple solution: use stock camera app

ok i am really confused for a rom their are to many and everyone of them got their own pros n cons now the thing is i wana flash a rom wich is fast n stable n most important part is which has tun.ko working as i specially want the open vpn to work on it ... now as far as i knw tun.ko is working on cf-root ketuts kernal ... but which one i go for ?
but is their a cm7 with working tun.ko ? guys help me decide which rom i should go for i was using coderom before but wana try something fast n new now .....

You might look into MIUI. Not sure if tun.ko works on MIUI but MIUI is a great rom.

That isn't an official MIUI ROM. Looks like a nice knock off though... you could try it. Not sure which device you're running cuz I'm on the mobile app but you could check out miuiandroid.com to see if there's an official rom out for your phone.

I don't know if tun works for cyanogenmod but I guess it does. Didn't see someone say it doesn't. Won't hurt trying right?

to be honest i have been on stock like and touchwiz roms so far and been on cm7 for lilttle time what i need is fast rom on wich i can play games and can run open vpn and nice stylish theams < (which so far i have never tried lol)
ok now bro jusada i have tried sunday 2 today and i wana confirm tun.ko works on your rom without any problem and its a really nice n fastest rom. cm7 is awesome but its a bit to much also i miss few things of stock tho...( like it wont read simcard contacts it self , swipe right to call n left to text function in call logs so on.. )
i was confused in beginning was lookin for file manager i think you should leave a file manager in it i dont think its a bad idea coz file manager is a main thing in phone i guess after all but any ways i did my own way to install it just send a file from bluetooth and access it from notifications

The reason I have left the file manager out is because cm7s file manager is so very poor. I don't replace as its ment to be stock cm. I know I've moved from that a little lately, but it will be moving back to that.

Is there any way to Use Stock camera in Custom Rom?
I found the APK for stock camera But i am not sure it will work or not to change it in the system through root explorer any help?

Lol it also means that 1,424 users think that cm7 (aosp) camera sucks!!!!! ( i m one of them)
you know you are rooted when you use XDA more than FB
It does suck but that is why camerazoom was made...

And,lib dependancies..The camera.apk is polished with TouchWiz (i forgot,coz its nearly been half an year since i have used stick based roms) So,if you need to get it to work,you need to edit framework, and see about the libs files..

There are atleast 3 libs for stock camera

It is not possible to reverse engineer such things as camera and radio.

Enable auto-rotation frm Notification bar...
If that doesn't work, try to callibrate ur phone's sensors in the settings

Have you tried to callibrate ur sensors from settings?

I using cm10 system rom cm10 have'nt calibration settings.
Then I m extremely sorry my bro because I may not b able to help u in this case as I haven't rooted my phone...
My info about Root is very poor..

CM10 indeed has an option to calibrate your sensors.
Goto Settings - Advanced - Look under Sensor tab

look for GALAXY SII SETTINGS in your app drawer, it will be there.

Screen rotation problem
Hello Guys,
Am new to the forum so forgive me if this doubt has been many times.
I have been facing this issue of Auto Screen rotation, after trying many options I tot of asking the "GURUS"'
After installing JellyBam I faced this problem, tried switching off, ticking/unticking Auto-Rotate, also installed many other roms like -paranoidandroid,RR,CM10! yet no solution... But one thing I could do is calibrating( I honestly do not where is the option to do this)
Kindly help me out coz with out the screen rotation its hard.
The future is here... This thread is for neko's new rom, so report bugs, problems or ask questions...

I have experienced many consecutive reboots with this rom, the chaos is worse than the stock CM9, the rom is very fast but this reboots is annoying. I can not send a log because i dont know how to use the included app

Neko95 is very conscientious about updating changelogs and download links. Always trust the first post. His latest version will be published. Any newer version numbers should not be trusted.

usb storage works for me. only i figured a minor home closed bug but, if you disable "don't keep activities" option, you won't see it.

Hi, this is an awesome work from neko (as always). I found something can anyone help me to fix it? When i use the search widget it works but I cant see results because screen is totally blank (but i can click and redirects) attached image .

Please I want a way or an app to close an opened app completely when I press back button on my phone.
It is mean that I don't wan this app to go to the recent open apps list.

GravityBox and xposed installer if you are rooted. Look for Hold back to kill somewhere in the hardware buttons options.
