Find a pny or sandisk (the only brands i believe we carry with 64gb capacity) one on Amazon. Walk in to your local best buy and pick it up (we price match). I have a sandisk that originally had issues mounting but haven't had an issue since I put a custom ROM on it (hyperdrive, cm or avatar)

Get this one SanDisk Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1.
Partial to the Samsung card myself. It has a slight speed and significant reliability edge over SanDisk's comparable offering.

Do a speed test on it. I'd like to see this. Most the speeds are restricted by the phone or kernel. Mine claims 30MB/s but doesn't get it. I get 6.6MB write and about 12MB read on that SanDisk card.

Had a bit of an issue with the slider not wanting to move, so the result may be skewed by the size of the write.

I actually just got this and must say it's wonderful to have so much space. Great price for a 32GB MicroSD card. Now, lets hope 64GB cards become cheaper!
Yea I checked on some higher class 32GB cards and the prices were outrageous, I run a Class 4 8GB from sandisk now so it will be a huge leap! Do our phones support 64GB?

i don't think so. I'm sure a new kernel could remedy that though.

That's probably because they did not have 64g cards to test with when they started making the phone
I have one of these. Their awesome and super dependent. I sold my old iPod Touch 32gb , bought one of these and use my GSII as my music player and I made $100 so it realllllllly helps

Yeah, I read that since the 64GB were primarily exFAT formatted, they wouldn't work initially but after a format to FAT32 it worked perfectly. So after the price goes down (or when the 128GB cards come [we need em now XD]) I'll definitely get one.
Well thats good to know for future reference, really I only need this card for movies. All my music streams from the cloud, and I am not a huge picture taker, this will be my main card for quite awhile =D will wind up using it on my note or note 2 (or whatever they will call it) whenever I get that, well 64GB get to this price then maybe I will upgrade =P Still baffles me that you can fit 32GB on a fingernail size piece of plastic =P

You can't go wrong with SanDisk. Class 10 is their latest/fastest speed.
If you want to save money, find yourself a Class 6 which is the next one down. I purchased a Class 6 64GB micro-card from a Best Buy sale for $49. I'm sure there are similar sales online though I don't think Best Buy is doing it anymore.
Search for them on Amazon, lots of results!
Make sure the phone can handle a 64gb card before shelling out for it. I don't know the microsd slot spec on the GS3.

Whatever you buy, buy from a reputable seller (thousands of reviews not a few hundred) and not just on price. There are a lot of fake cards being sold. I bought a 32g SanDisk that was a fake, and it was only 8gb no matter what the card read as. The size can be fooled.
That said, I have not tried the latest SanDisk cards, but I have a SanDisk 32 class 6, and a Lexmark 32gb class 10. The Lexmark comes with a much nicer and more substantial usb adapter, the SanDisk came with the smallest utilitarian usb adapter. Both can be put on a key chain. I use the faster Lexmark in the phone. I find the usb adapter better than a sd card adapter which I tend to misplace, as well as being useful in computers without a sd card slot.

SanDisk 64GB Ultra MicroSDCX
I've heard nothing but good things about this card. It's pretty much top of the line too.
It's class 10 and UHC class 1. It's advertised as class 6 just because they haven't updated the web page, I emailed the seller.
It handles the 1080p video recording due to the fast read/write speeds.
shock resistant, water resistant (I think, go to sandisks website to view all the awesome details).
Anyways, this is definitely the card I'm getting. They offer a 32GB version as well, but that may be only class 6 (still probably plenty of speed).

Anything that's class 10 is fast enough, eg for 1080p video. Transcend do a good one but if you don't mind paying a bit more then the SanDisk Extreme is excellent.

Sandisk Ultra Class 10.
I use class 4 16 gb instead of 32 gb class 10, feels better for me. Just look at the prices, there are these very cheap ones and expensive ones, try to buy one with a price that makes sense, in sd cards, generally pricey means durability, so focus on prices and get something your budget likes.

Hmm....currently using class 4 16gb sandisk with no problems. Thinking of expanding to 32 gb.
Price is secondary, i dont want to end up paying on a sd card which stops working after a few days of usage.
Just asking if anyone is using a 32gb with a good class with no issues and lags on their s2.
If yes, which one??

I have a class 10 32gb Lexar. It's read speed is brilliant - like all decent class 10 cards. It's write speed is quite low.
As a result I use my lexar sd for the storing of music, videos, apks etc. But I tend not to 'write' onto it with camera and video stuff. It will probably be fine but the write speed isn't that high so I don't want to risk errors or anything.
Thanks for ur advice guys

Samsung's honestly. Faster than the comparable class# sandisk, even when used in a phone, (the difference is even more pronounced on PC) and I have seen reports of sandisk failures. (But that may just be a artifact of the total # of cards). I've had my samsung UHS 1 since launch. Works great.
