[Q] I think I bricked my Huawei PLEASE HELP - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Before I start, I actually have the Huawei Ascend D1 Quad XL.... I am posting here because I simply cannot find a forum for this phone. I have read people who have this similar issue though... So I was hoping for ANY advice.
So to put things straight, the phone was running Stock 4.0 just fine, and I went ahead trying to root it. It was going well but I accidentally hit something in the recovery which I couldn't read the language of (The method I was following was this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2037582 )
Now, the phone seems bricked... It is stuck on the Huawei Ascend boot screen (no animation) it has been stuck here for a few hours. Holding the power button down turns it off, but the phone powers itself back on immediately after, and attempting to go into recovery simply does not work. I also am unable to remove the battery until I find a new screwdriver... I am currently waiting for the phone to die in hopes it can boot to recovery... but does anyone have any tips? Thanks.

Pls help me too

[Q] "Failure to Boot 2" after installing CWM

Hi XDA, been lurking for a while and today decided to start posting, beginning with a relatively urgent question.
My brother's been marveling at the ability to flash custom ROMs onto my Galaxy S2, and decided he wanted to root his Atrix today. Rooting process went well (he used Pete's Motorola Root Tools) and then flashed CWM through ROM Manager, but did NOT unlock his bootloader. After CWM was purportedly done, he put a ROM onto his HDD, turned the phone off, and attempted to boot into CWM. He was greeted with an error message, "Failure to Boot 2, Starting RSD Mode", which pops up whether he tries to turn on the phone normally or by holding the volume button down. Taking out the battery doesn't help.
Now, my assumption is that because he didn't unlock his bootloader, he's getting this error, but my experience with Android dev is limited. So, how would I go about fixing this? My only concern is getting the phone back to a working state, we don't care about the data on it.
Thank you for the time taken to read and answer this question, any and all help is appreciated.
Warm Regards,
Leo
EDIT: Just want to make sure, I did a fair amount of searching before I made this thread and found a bunch of answers, just not sure which one I should do. One thread champions just unlocking the bootloader, others suggest flashing an OEM ROM, which I'm not sure how to do without CWM. Essentially I'm just looking for some guidance and would deeply appreciate any help I can get.
EDIT 2: Forgot to add - he was running 2.2.1 stock. Root was successful. Feel free to ask any questions if necessary.
UPDATE: I've been trying to use these instructions to unlock the bootloader, but I'm stuck on the step that asks you to reboot your phone into RSD mode. The phone doesn't boot without being plugged in, and gives me the following error when I do:
Failed to Boot 2, Starting RSD Mode
"Battery is too low to Flash". Right now the phone's plugged into the wall with this message displaying,
It also goes without saying that RSD Mode, in fact, is never started .
Added some more information (apparently new members aren't allowed to post links, so added the information as UPDATE in the original post).
Again, thanks for your help and suggestions.
Bump, somebody please weigh in.

You are correct in just trying to unlock the BL. Unfortunately, you will need a charged battery to do so. If you don't have access to a different battery, you can go to an AT&T store and they should charge it for you.
The OEM you're referring to is a full .sbf, instead of just the smaller "unlock" .sbf. That is an option, but in all honesty, unlocking the BL should be the quickest way to fix your situation.
If you run into any problems, let us know.
Thanks for the advice, it's immensely reassuring. He went to an AT&T store and they were unhelpful, refused to charge it for him I'm going to order a battery charger off Amazon and charge it that way, and will post here when I have results.
In the meantime if anyone else has something to add it would be quite appreciated.
Thanks,
Leo

Alright, we've run into a problem.
The screen never gets past the error message "Failure to Boot 2, Starting RSD Mode". We turn it off, hold power and up at the same time, and it still boots to that message. I press the power button and hold the volume up button, nothing changes.
The battery is charged.
Is there something I'm missing here?

The .sbf's are flashed while your phone is in RSD Mode
in order to charge your battery (to fix the "Battery is too low" message) you will need to sacrifice any USB cable, cut it open and tape the red and black wires to the battery. (Red goes on +, Black goes on -)

Yep, I realized that. I thought "Starting RSD Mode" would at some point subside, and it would say something along the lines of "In RSD Mode" or something. But he flashed an unlock SBF and got it unlocked. He now has a beautiful Atrix running ICS MIUI.
Thank you all for the help.
Same problem but the solution does not work for me
I am in the same boat. I downloaded RSD 5.9 and used the file in pudding.rar. After I loaded the file, RSD said it passed with 100% load but the phone is still stuck in the same place. Can anyone help?

Verizon Ellipsis 7 Unbricking?

I am assuming no one has bricked this device yet but I believe I just did I am rooted and stuck at a welcome screen if anybody has a solution please help! if not I'm going to the store Saturday and telling them a silly lie
Yeah I just did too :/ I installed chainfire 3D and now it stays at the Verizon loading screen. It doesn't shut off, only reboots to this screen. Safe mode doesn't work. I'm hoping there is a way to fastboot, factory restore, etc. via USB. But I think I'm SOL
I just went up to the Verizon store and play dumb I was able to get mine replaced

I figured as much. I talked to someone over the phone and they said to bring it in for a replacement. So I'm going in tomorrow for a new one. Lesson learned haha

Really hoping someone has came out with a unbrick/really BootLoop of Doom...
So I know a little about android and learn quick and there is very little information on the verizon ellipsis 7. Just so happens I bought one from a side shop and figured out Framaroot will easily root this device. Well you can guess what happen from there. All was going well until i rebooted with rom toolbox pro to change the font format for the second time. Now ever since it hasn't made it past the verizon screen and i cant take it back. Is there any possible way at all of somehow getting a custom recovery on this thing? Or even better a unbrick/bootloop? Oh and I CAN get it to go into stock recovery. Tried the Clear eMMC and Safe Mode but no luck.
Im in the same situation, I'm not able to boot into safe mode and clearing the emmc (formatting /data) doesn't seem to help either. I believe /data is just the user saved data, system data remains the same and is still corrupted. I had rooted, installed xposed framework and a few modules, rebooted fine the first time, but when I went to go change a setting within Ultimate Dynamic Navbar to make the stock navbar hide or not to hide, the script it used killed the tablet and now my wife's valentines day present is stuck in a bootloop. I'm going to try and take it back to verizon tomorrow after work, hopefully I can get yet another free tablet from big red... rvajuggalo said he was able to get it replaced right away even though it was rooted, anyone think I'll be fine taking it back as well? Or should I just wait til someone comes out with a fix for this issue?

If anyone has a clean copy of the system or firmware directories can you please share with me? --- Also if anyone knows how to get into the stock recovery without android debugging please explain? On a final note if anyone has a custom recovery that they could share that would be amazing as well. I'm in a bootloop and have been stuck in it for a couple weeks. Any assistance would be most appreciated.

If you're willing to open the back plate. (Back plate just pulls off. I'd suggest opening the sim/sd card slot and using that to pull it off. You need to disconnect the battery wait a few seconds, reconnect and then boot into recovery.
1. Black plate removal
2. Disconnect battery
3. Wait a few seconds
4. Reconnect battery
5. Press and hold Power and Down volume button until you see "Powered by Android"
6. Release the power button continue to hold down volume
7. Once in Factory recovery mode choose your best option
(I just factory reset it)

A new development, possibly.

After making edits in system files I broke my QMV7B. Hangs on powered by android logo. In a panic, I wiped emmc from factory more (Chinese).. This reset ADB keys, and complicated matters further. After some digging I may have caught a break... I have figured out a way to stop and suspend the tablet in it's pre boot, or preloader, state. While suspended, it maintains COM3 connection with SPFT, and does not power cycle on and off. It also successfully installs it's onboard Preloader driver without error. Problem is that I need help attempting flash (for best chances)...
needing stock 4.4.4 fit the qmv7, or possibly advice on stock recover if possible.. I have successfully flased devices with Odin before, and have rooted almost every I have had.. I just want the best chance for success, and not to full brick the tab.. this could also be a solution for newer devices as well, but would like to for a good developer to speak with me before I post my findings. I will also post if I get the stock room compatible for flashing with SP Flash tool.. thanks guys..
Help
Please post specifics on how you achieved suspending in Preloader mode. That would help me alot.
I really need the un-rooted qmv7a stock rom, if any one could provide, that would be fan-freaking-tabulous lol...
no, for real i need the stock rom. I'd really appreciate it.
BTW
if you wanna get clean root on this device, i suggest this- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748169
(has nothing to do with my need for a clean start, that was my own carelessness...)

Thanks again and if anybody has anything more than what's on here about this tablet please contact me as I feel like the last human on Earth with one ????

And Reading all topics about rooting this tablet...i'm afraid to do that?

Huawei Ascend P6 stuck on starting screen - can't turn off or remove battery

Hi, all
I've made a horrible mistake while checking if my phone's bootloader was unlocked. I followed the steps in this tutorial http://techglen.com/2013/10/01/abd-and-fastboot-guide/ in order to install adb and fastboot drivers, and then followed this post's suggestions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2399320 to check if bootloader was unlocked.
I don't really know what I did wrong, but my phone suddenly froze in the starting screen (Chinese carrier logo, I believe) and it won't respond to any buttons. Can't turn it off and can't go into recovery or safe mode though key combinations.
Did I just brick my phone? I'm desperate here. The phone had a nearly full battery and it'll stay like that for a long time. I really hope someone knows what to do.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I've solved the problem by doing a hard reset, which I didn't know how to do (obviously I'm a complete 'noob' in this matter).
For anyone experiencing this problem in the future, you need to hold the power button for ten seconds or so.
Sorry for the useless post.

Lenovo s860 Bricked? How to flash ROM

Hi guys, sorry if I posted this at the wrong place.
I have a Lenovo s860 and it went into a bootloop. It was stock and all so I thought that I can have my files recovered if I just bring it to a service center so they can get the files first before wiping it or maybe even fixing the bootloop without wiping the device. Well, the thing is, the guy at the service center screwed up and now, when I try to turn it on, I still see the boot screen (Lenovo, powered by Android) but the next screen is like an television with bad signal.
I'm familiar with rooting and flashing ROMs, I've tried it on my Galaxy S2 (yeah I know, it was way back), but I think things are still more or less the same: I need to be able to boot into recovery mode in order to root the device. However, when I tried the Power Button + Volume Up, or any combinations of the Power Button and the Volume Buttons, it just goes straight to the dead screen, I get no response whatsoever.
I also tried to check if adb can detect it, however, it didn't seem to be able to do so. I'm using a MacBook Pro so I know I don't have to install any drivers, I also code Android Apps so I have a background on this.
I think my only option would be to flash the ROM on this dead device but I don't know how to do that. I've also seen some posts that suggest doing some things (I forgot the specifics) while the battery is drained, so what I'm doing for the mean time is to leave the phone open and let it drain which might take ~2 days.
Does anyone know how to flash a ROM on a bricked device? Thanks for any leads.

Broken Power Button | Alternatives

Hello fellow XDA Community,
recently my old phones power button kinda died.
Due to that it will only Boot if I find that special sweet spot to hold down until it works.
The broken power button is no problem when the phone is booted up, since I got root permission and respective apps as workaround.
I was wondering if there is any other way to Boot up the phone.
I found a kinda interesting Method at:
Nvm, cant post links yet. :c
The Link explains how to Boot Android by connecting it to the charger by skipping the loading animation.
However I am afraid once the phone runs out of battery it won't be able to recharge again since its directly booting then. (Using more power for booting than available by the battery)
Any ideas?
It would be perfect if the phone would only Boot up at 2% Battery or such instead of instantly, but I am not that much into root etc, so I am not sure if this is possible.
Thanks for reading
Additional Info:
Root Available: Yes
Phone: Cubot X9
Rom: MIUI 8 Global
Alternatively, what I expected to be a bug when I once flashed a wrong Rom could also help me.
Is there a way to make the phone boot once the charger is disconnected?
Still needing help :/
