I was running CM on my Nexus, and loved having access to the camera from the PIN lockscreen by swiping over to it without having to unlock.
Running stock rooted on the S4...it's there any way to enable this?
The option to add the camera access to the lock screen is disabled in lick screen settings.
Thanks.

I think there is a xposed module for that... Install the app and look for the index thread

I had nicely set jkay aosp lock screen, untill once I decided to protect my phone from little son, and set the pattern. When the danger was gone, I went to settings and disabled pattern, but the lock with dots for pattern left alone, how would I reset/remove/disable pattern lock completely?

Never mind I found solution. To disable lock pattern you need to go to the same menu as to enable it, insert your pattern there and choose none as a lock.

I use WidgetLocker on my LG Thrill, but it often fails and I need to go through the normal swipe to unlock screen as well.
Is there a lock screen replacement that actually replaces the lock screen? I like being able to go straight to my camera or shazam without have to unlock and then dig for the apps, but I'm not so keen on using widget locker.
Have you tried the "disable stock lockscreen" option in the settings

widget locker seems to work fine for me on my att note.
Apologies if this has been posted somewhere else. I've tried searching the forum but it's so vast I've not been able to find an answer.
I have an un-rooted Galaxy S3 which I've just upgraded to Android 4.3. I was hoping to be able to use Dashclock to have lockscreen widgets enabled along with the pattern protection I use. However, it seems that Samsung have disabled the ability to have multiple lockscreens and add other widgets to it.
Is there any way around this without rooting my device, which I really don't want to do?
Thanks in advance.

Here is how, but maybe not the solution that you need
Hi! I found that in order to get lock screen widgets to work on a Galaxy S3 you need to unprotect your lock screen by selecting SWIPE as the security screen lock (pattern, password, or PIN protection will disable third party lock screens.) Once you have set the security screen lock to SWIPE you will see the options for third party lock screen widgets.
It is a real shame that Samsung is restricting us from using third party lock screen widgets while using a true security screen lock option.
I hope that this helps.

Well, can you then tell me how to do it? Because as soon as I use any security screen lock other than swipe, all lock screen widgets options disappear and swiping from the left on the lock screen stops working too, so no widgets can be added. Just in case, I am using the TMO flavor of the Galaxy S3.
I was wondering when I dock my phone in, if there is a way to turn the lock screen to landscape mode. When I unlock it, the home screen is unlocked, but the lock screen isn't. just wanted to make it easier for me to read the time. Thanks
Play store. Force dock rotation

I'm just amazed this phone doesn't have that option built into the stock ROM. Especially since they sell a landscape magnetic official dock!
xposed module xblast also works. That's what I use m8:good:
I flashed skydragon rom onto my htc one m8. I love it! Though I have two caveats. The most annoying one is the lock screen on stock android. On the stock rom I could set passcode and have it delay a few minutes so I wouldn't have to enter password everytime. I also had access to lockscreen and widgets. Now, I can temporary disable lockscreen and password but I only want to disable password so I can still access widgets and lockscreen. Anyway to do this?
Also, is there a way I can hold powebutton to turn flashlight on while screen is off? Had xposed module that did it on stock rom, found some other modules but they use volume up button and I can't use that because it interferes with gesture to open camera.
