This has been happening for a couple of days now, my Amaze keeps unlocking itself. I'm not sure why, it's hard to go to sleep with it coming on, and illuminating my room. Does anyone know why?
Also, I tried searching, and if someone already posted this, then I am really sorry.

First of all, you should have posted this in the correct thread, the Q&A thread. But since this thread is already here, might as well try to help you.
Do you have a case? Because I know that some cases can sometimes unintentionally press the camera shutter button or the power button. Remove any cases and see if the problem occurs without the case.

Yes, I do have a case. But I took the case off, it still unlocks. I'm running stock ICS from Wind Mobile. And also, I'm sorry about putting it in the wrong thread. I'll remember that from now on. Thanks .
Thread moved to Q&A.

I have an i777 that was recently replaced by another phone, but when I tried to turn the i777 back on nothing seems to start.
It was running the Super Nexus ROM.
If I plug the phone into my computer I can get into ODIN, but cannot otherwise get the phone to respond to any input.
I had thought I was going to have to return the phone to Samsung, so I used ODIN to flash the stock binary, but I still have the triangle issue...
Any ideas on how this can be fixed? I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find anything that fit this case.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

You need to read the stickies in the development section. This will prevent your questions from getting flamed. This question is covered in the sticky linked below.

Sorry, I was more asking if there was a way to get the phone to work again without sending it back in. I can reset the counter if need be, but would rather just get the phone working again and not have to deal with samsung.

I see you already flashed it back to stock. I would recommend doing that again to see if that fixes your issue. Otherwise, remove the triangle and attempt a warranty repair.
Make sure you are following the instructions in the sticky for a proper return to stock.

Hello guys,
This is bizarre.
I had thought I was perhaps somehow pressing the power button when pulling out the micro USB after charging... but I have checked, and the tablet has this bug where if it has been charged overnight and I pull out the microUSB cable, the tablet WILL power down completely!
Anyone else have this?
BTW xda search is down, so I cannot search to see if this has been written about.
Cheers,
Mark.

I disagree. There should be different threads for different issues.
This makes it a lot easier for people to search and find relevant information
Nothing is worse than a thread which is entitled "10 problems".
Mark.
I'm having the same shutdown issue. I really don't want to return the unit, so I just bought one of those POGO chargers in hopes that will be a good workaround. Haven't received it yet.
I'm returning mine... It's good feedback for Samsung.

looks like some hardware issue. Returning it to the service center will be beneficial and advisory
I just got an ATT SIII and I attempted to root it with Odin. The progress bar got to about 25% then failed, now I can't boot my phone into the OS. I followed every guide I could find to fix this but every flash fails at ~25%. I can get into download mode, so I should be able to correct this, right? What should I be doing?
edit:
Ok, I found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1727443
I followed the steps, Odin passed, and when I boot I see the Galaxy S III splash screen, then the screen goes blank and the led stays solid blue. I can still get to download mode.
First of all get to the AT&T s3 forum this is for the i9300 only flashing anything here will brick your phone.

"you're" would be the correct grammar
nah man, I certainly don't want to be a mod. I am just surprised by people's thinking. Like "hey, here's the Q&A help and troubleshooting forum, should ask ask a question there? naah, imma just post in general". It's not even funny.
And I am perfectly fine if you don't like my posts, I don't care about that.
@OP: definitely it is (as mentioned before) Q&A thread, first.
Secondly, I would like to pass my personal congratulations to you, as you tried to flash the firmware form another phone and you have confirmed that it would brick it.
Last but not least: be careful and do not apply your way of life while refuelling your car, as diesel into petrol or vice versa would have more severe consequences.
I need some serious help, my galaxy s2 wont boot into recovery i just get a "firmware upgrade encountered an issue...", i cant get odin to recognize it, and during the time i could boot into recovery, i couldnt mount the sd card to flash a firmware, and last time odin recognized it kept getting stuck on modem.bin and say (write error) or something of the sorts, please i desperately need help
Here maybe this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2058683 could help you.

Stop referring people to that thread of yours when phones aren't bricked. Immediately. Or I will deal with you. Are we clear ? :-/
If they follow those steps & the phone isn't bricked, they sure as fcuk will have a brick on their hands if it goes wrong.
This person's phone isn't even remotely close to being bricked, it's a simple case of 'Odin won't work' like 99.9999% of those cases on here, and the fix is usually very simple.
OP - This gets covered here so many times per week it ain't funny. Search for similar threads, there are a bunch troubleshooting steps you need to follow (This is the final time I'm typing that as well, from now on people will just get 'Search').

thank you but the problem is that i cant get odin to recognize the phone, and i cant seem to find a fix on the site that i haven't yet tried, so, i'm trying to see if anyone has anything other that install drivers, uninstall kies, and use samsungs cable, because i've tried all of those multiple times with no luck

Yeah I get it  (that's why the first line of the guide is meant to and usually does, scare people off), but if he eventually reaches the desperation point(no amount of flash attempts succeeds) , following my guide would be better than blind flashing of pit files(in a case where recovery is completely inaccessible my guide is useless) , which I have seen people recommending to do, if the user is lucky enough to flash a kernel and bootup the recovery, memory block corruption(it can happen because of reasons like phone turned off while flashing via Odin, removing cable midway of odin flash, and possibly several others) can also be effectively corrected.
Edit :I have made the guide a little bit more safer so that any noob who ignores all the warnings and go ahead with the procedure will stop after the first step if he/she is not having corrupted block's, effectively keeping him/her safe.

I hope you read all my replies (also those in the guide thread because I have explained some stuff and made some changes ) basically if a user ignores everything in my guide and flashes any of the pit files, only if the flash fails will he get a brick(as usual), otherwise he will have an sd card with a lot less space. I hope you don't mind me quoting you in my main post.

Wow. That's a magical fix
OP - You were told to search for similar threads, there are 6 or so other steps you haven't even tried once yet. Bottom line is, if you want your phone fixed, you're going to need to do everything and quite possibly do it over & over till it works. Nobody here can do that for you. If you can't be bothered trying 2nd or 3rd PC and go thru the troubleshooting steps as well on those if necessary, your phone is going to stay busted.
The end.

my friend has an S2 as well, I just borrowed his hes here with me, and still nothing, whats happening is that the computers arent even recognizing that something has been plugged in, none of them are, his phone is recognized instantly by odin and all, but once he unplugs his and i plug it into mine, it just does nothing
